Hi, I’m Oliver! I’m a 2½-year-old guy looking for a special person who understands that some of us need a little extra time to feel comfortable. New environments can be pretty overwhelming for me, and being handled isn’t really my thing just yet.

The good news is that I’m making progress! My foster parents have been patient and respectful of my boundaries, and I’m beginning to enjoy some gentle pets. I may still hiss when I feel nervous, but that’s just my way of saying I need a little space.

I would thrive in a quiet, low-key home without children or lots of commotion, where I can settle in at my own pace and build trust without pressure. I may not be the kind of cat who greets you with a cuddle right away, but with patience, kindness, and a little understanding, I hope to discover just how wonderful a loving home can be. Could you be the person willing to give me that chance?
