Mouse had a difficult start. At just four weeks old, she developed a prolapsed rectum following diarrhea and needed surgery. According to her caregiver, she recovered beautifully and has had no further trouble since the repair.

This playful girl enjoys toy mice, balls with bells, kicker toys, and her Catit Senses 2.0 Play Circuit, especially when it’s arranged in a circle. She also loves watching squirrels and birds through the window and using her sisal rope scratching post.

Mouse has always lived indoors. Nail trims require a little patience, so her caregiver trims just a few nails at a time. She currently eats Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin dry food and Fancy Feast pâté.

2. Little Kitty

Young · Female · Domestic Long Hair (long coat)

Meet Kitty!

Kitty is a three-year-old domestic longhair weighing 12 pounds. Her caregiver describes a girl who enjoys being close to her person, whether she’s “helping” at the computer desk, napping beside the keyboard, or settling onto their chest during TV time.

Kitty arrived at the Humane Society with her two kittens. During her spay appointment, an enlarged kidney was discovered, caused by a blocked ureter. The affected kidney was removed, and her caregiver reports that she is expected to live a normal life with her remaining kidney. She went home with her caregiver to recover and has stayed ever since.

Kitty enjoys watching birds and squirrels through the window and playing with toy mice, balls with bells, and kicker toys. She also loves her Catit Senses 2.0 Play Circuit, especially when the track is arranged in a circle.

According to her caregiver, Kitty would do best as the only cat, probably in a home without children. She sometimes gives love bites, so she needs someone comfortable recognizing and respecting her boundaries. Her caregiver says she responds to being told it hurts by switching to licks. She is also cooperative for nail trims.

Kitty currently eats Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin dry food and Fancy Feast pâté. She is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy companionship, playtime, and a sunny window of her own.

Meet Leo!

Leo is an eight-year-old, longhaired Maine Coon mix with 25 pounds of love to give! This sweet boy is a purring machine who firmly believes he’s the perfect size for a lap. Stretch out on the bed to watch TV, and Leo may settle right onto your chest to keep you company.

Leo’s story began in 2018, when his mother was rescued from an area with many cats. She was scheduled to be spayed the following day, but that morning she surprised her caregiver by giving birth. Leo was one of those kittens, and he has been loved and cared for indoors ever since.

5. Katie

Adult · Female · Domestic Medium Hair (medium coat)

Meet Katie!

Katie is a sweet, chatty nine-year-old domestic mediumhair who weighs 12 pounds and loves a welcoming lap. She knows her name and enjoys talking to her person—wonderful company for someone looking for an affectionate companion.

Katie’s story began with a difficult experience. At just four months old, she was found injured after being inside a car’s engine compartment. Her tail had to be amputated, but she recovered beautifully and has lived safely indoors ever since.

Read more about Katie

This lovely girl still enjoys plenty of playtime with toy mice, balls with bells, and kicker toys. She also loves settling into a window to watch birds, squirrels, and the occasional chipmunk.

Katie has very fine fur that her caregiver keeps clipped to help maintain her coat. She is easy to groom and cooperative for nail trims, too.

Because Katie is afraid of most of the cats in her current home, she would do best in a quiet household as the only cat or possibly with one gentle cat who gives her space. A home without small children would suit her best. She currently eats Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin dry food and Fancy Feast pâté.

Katie is ready for a peaceful home, a cozy lap, and someone who will enjoy her sweet conversations as much as her companionship.

6. Honey

Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Honey!

Honey is a petite, six-year-old domestic shorthair who weighs just seven pounds. Her adorable short, crooked tail adds to her charm, and she has a special story behind her sweet name.

At only three months old, Honey was found with a prolapsed rectum. The women who brought her to the vet requested euthanasia, but her veterinarian reached out to her caregiver, giving Honey a chance. She recovered beautifully after surgery and has had no further trouble. The vet named her Honey after the honey he used during her treatment.

Read more about Honey

Honey enjoys the simple pleasures of life: playing with her toy mouse and kicker toy, scratching her sisal post, and watching birds and squirrels through the window. When her person settles into bed to watch TV, she happily joins them and sleeps beside them for part of the night. She knows her name and will answer when spoken to. She even tolerates nail trims nicely while sitting in a lap!

Honey is frightened when other cats approach or chase her and would do best as the only cat in a quiet home. She has never been around children, so a calm adult household would likely be her most comfortable fit. She has lived exclusively indoors since she was a kitten.

She currently eats Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin dry food and Fancy Feast pâté.

Honey is ready for a peaceful home where she can feel safe, enjoy her favorite toys, and settle beside someone who loves her.

7. Haya

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Haya!

Haya is a sweet, loving girl who once lived outdoors and has been an indoor cat for the past year. Her babies have all been adopted, but Haya is still waiting for a family of her own. She deserves her turn to be cherished.

She may need a little time to feel comfortable, but once she does, she’ll meow for your attention and follow you around the room seeking affection. Haya loves being petted, though being picked up isn’t her favorite. Letting her approach you at her own pace helps build her trust.

Read more about Haya

Haya enjoys playing with toys, watching the world through a window, and snuggling into hiding spots beneath blankets or behind curtains. She will eat dry food, but does better with wet food.

She hasn’t always received the attention she needs, and she would thrive with a patient, loving family who respects her personal space and makes time for her. Her kittens have found their homes—now it’s Haya’s turn.

8. Clarissa

Young · Female · Tabby (short coat)

Meet Clarissa!

Clarissa is a sweet, loving classic tabby, about three years old, with a little triangular nick at the tip of her left ear. Once an outdoor cat, she has been living indoors for the past year since having her kittens. Now she needs a peaceful home where she has room to play, relax, and feel safe.

Clarissa likes affection on her own terms. Being picked up and held isn’t her favorite, but settle onto the couch or bed and she’ll happily climb into your lap for some pampering. She loves being petted—just skip the belly rubs! She’ll sleep beside you and isn’t shy about joining whatever you’re doing when she wants a little attention.

Read more about Clarissa

This playful girl enjoys toys, scratching posts, and watching the world through a window. She has bursts of playful energy in the late evening and sometimes the early morning, and she’ll announce her excitement with happy meows when it’s time to eat.

Clarissa is sensitive and can become stressed easily, sometimes retreating under the bed when she needs a quiet moment. After being bullied by another cat, she has needed to stay in a bedroom for her own comfort and safety, leaving her with little space to explore. She can coexist with gentle cats who give her space, but dominant or pushy cats overwhelm her.

Clarissa would thrive in a calm home with a patient, loving person who respects her boundaries. With space to stretch her legs and the security of knowing she’s safe, this affectionate girl will have every chance to blossom.

10. Fennec

Kitten (5 months 8 days) · Male · Domestic Medium Hair (medium coat)

Meet Fennec! He is a very shy and sensitive little boy who is still learning that humans can be trusted. He is making progress at his own pace, slowly building confidence and discovering that people can bring comfort, kindness, and love. Fennec will be ready for a forever home with a kind, patient family who is willing to give him the time and understanding he needs to continue blossoming.

Fennec is a beautiful boy with an unusual coat that is less orange and more of a soft, creamy champagne color. His fur is wonderfully downy and soft, making him every bit as lovely to touch as he is to look at.

Read more about Fennec

One thing Fennec is completely sure about is his brother, Jack. He loves Jack and finds comfort and confidence in having him nearby. Their bond is very special, and we would love to see Fennec and Jack adopted together so they can continue growing, playing, and experiencing life side by side.

Fennec may take a little longer to give you his trust, but we have a feeling that earning the heart of this gentle little boy will make it that much more special.

11. Sherwyn

Kitten (5 months 8 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Tabby (short coat)

Meet Sherwyn! He is a sensitive little guy with a lot of passion for everything related to his human. He wants to be where you are, he wants to know what you’re doing, and he would probably like to be filled in on your future plans as well. He is a little “mini-me” type of kitten who seems happiest when he is right there sharing life with his person.

He was the runt of his litter, but what he lacked in size, he more than made up for in determination—and volume! Sherwyn had the biggest pipes of them all.

Read more about Sherwyn

Today, Sherwyn is a confident little dude with so much love to give, and we know he would be happiest with another kitty to play with as would all the kitties from this litter.

We allow our cats outdoor time in a securely enclosed, climb-proof fenced yard. If Sherwyn is allowed outside in his new home, we recommend a similar secure enclosure so he can safely enjoy the outdoors while remaining protected from predators.

12. Seymour

Kitten (5 months 8 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Seymour! We also call him “See Morse Code” because instead of a traditional meow, Seymour often communicates with a series of funny little clicking noises. We’re not quite sure why, but it has become one of his most endearing quirks.

Seymour is the strongest and most robust of his littermates, but underneath that big, sturdy exterior, he is truly just a baby. He loves to be in your lap or stretched out on top of you and, if you hold still long enough, he will happily settle in and make himself comfortable.

Read more about Seymour

When he isn’t cuddling, Seymour is a big-time wrestler and an enthusiastic tree climber. He is playful, curious, and very interested in the older cats. He will confidently run right up to them hoping they might want to play, only to occasionally get a smack in the face for his efforts. Seymour’s response is usually to sit down and quietly ponder where it all went wrong.

We allow our cats outdoor time in a securely enclosed, climb-proof fenced yard. If Seymour is allowed outside in his new home, we recommend a similar secure enclosure so he can safely climb, play, and explore while remaining protected from predators.
