19. Foxy
2 Years 1 Month · Female · Domestic Short Hair · 7 mi from Washington

Hi I’m Foxy. I didn’t have the best start to my life. My previous person left me behind with other pets when they moved. Lucky for me a kind person got me to King Street Cats. KSC has promised to find me a forever home where I can feel safe and loved. I absolutely love people, especially when they tell me how pretty I am! I think I would be fine with another cat but no dogs please. There was one in my former home but I was scared of him. I also would prefer a quieter home, too much commotion also scares me.
Please come meet me. I promise you will fall in love and want to adopt me!

20. Tippy
Kitten · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 13 mi from Washington

Meet Tippy — The Miracle Boy! Tippy is one very special little boy with an incredible story of resilience, a heart full of sweetness, and so much love to give!Tippy was rescued by one of our wonderful partner organizations from heartbreaking conditions alongside many other kittens desperately in need of help. Sadly, he was very sick as a tiny kitten and developed severe eye infections that required extensive treatment, numerous veterinary visits, tests, and examinations. Through it all, his incredibly dedicated foster provided round-the-clock care, making sure this little fighter had everything he needed to heal. And what a comeback he has made! Tippy has overcome his infections, and although he has some residual scarring that leaves his eyes looking a little cloudy, he has come such a long way.
Read more about Tippy
His infections have resolved, and his remaining cloudiness is due to scarring from his illness. He may be a little more cautious when navigating unfamiliar surroundings or deciding whether to leap into something new, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life!Despite everything he has endured, Tippy has remained the sweetest boy. He tolerated all the treatments and care he needed without ever getting upset with the people trying to help him. Now, he’s ready to focus on the fun stuff!Tippy LOVES playing with toys, and a fishing-pole toy is hands-down his favorite game. He also enjoys wrestling and playing with his feline friends. He’s a sweet, gentle soul who has already shown us just how much strength and spirit can fit into one little kitten.Because of his eye scarring, Tippy would do best in a quieter, predictable home where he can become familiar with his surroundings without having to navigate lots of new things being moved around or placed in his path. With a little patience, a safe environment, and time to build confidence, he can settle in at his own pace and continue to thrive. A friendly feline companion who enjoys playing would be a lovely bonus for this playful boy!Tippy has already overcome so much in his young life. Now, he deserves a family who will see past his cloudy eyes and recognize the beautiful, resilient, loving kitten looking back at them. 26. Capone
6 Months · Male · Domestic Short Hair · 7 mi from Washington

Hi I’m Capone! I was outside fending for myself at a very young age. Lucky for me I brought to King Street Cats. I spent several months in a fabulous KSC foster home with a bunch of other kittens. It was lots of fun but now I’m ready to find my furever home. I was around a cat friendly dog in my foster home (he thought he was a cat!). I definitely need a four legged friend in my furever home to play with me.

6 Months · Male · Domestic Short Hair · 7 mi from Washington

If waking up to snuggles and sweet, scratchy kitten kisses sounds like your idea of a perfect morning, then Able may be your guy!
Able has come a long way in his short life. He was born outside, but you’d never know it now — he has completely embraced the safe, cozy indoor life and has no intention of looking back! He absolutely loves playing with his foster brothers and sister, so his new home
must have another young, playful kitty
to keep him company.
Read more about Able
Able is a bundle of fun with plenty of energy to burn. Bring out the teaser toy or laser pointer and watch him go! He’s quite the little athlete and takes his playtime very seriously. Of course, all that hard work requires compensation… preferably in the form of treats.
When playtime is over, Able is happy to switch gears and show off his softer side. He is loving, affectionate, and always ready for some quality cuddle time with his people. He would do well in a home with cat-friendly dogs and older children who understand how to be gentle with a kitten.

Some adult cats may be adopted singly, but we prefer to adopt out kittens in pairs unless adopters have a playful cat or dog already in residence to keep the kitten company. Once a cat is adopted an adoption contract is completed. King Street Cats asks for a $125 non-refundable adoption fee to adopt a cat or kitten, or $225 to adopt two. All cats has been to a vet and tested for FELV/FIV. Adult cats are up-to-date on vaccinations. Kittens will have had vaccinations appropriate for their age. Adopting a cat in Washington
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
