My outstanding features are my small size, short legs, and soft, beautiful coat, making me a member of one of the rarest cat breeds. When I first meet you, I can be a bit shy and withdrawn, but once I learn to trust and feel comfortable in my new home, I can be sociable, affectionate, and enjoy my human company. My grooming requirements aren’t too heavy. This is because my fur is soft, so gentle brushing a few times a week should suffice to keep my coat knot and mat free. And, I love my treats – when I hear you shake the bag, I’ll come running, will eat them all, and will then ask for more – and that’s how you can earn my trust!! Howdy! My name is Plumpy, and I'm a brown tabby boy kitty who is 6 months old. Not only that, I'm also a Manx! I don't have a tail at all, unless you count the tiniest bit of a fluffy bit right where a tail would be. I'm maybe the shyest of my siblings, but that doesn't mean I'm all that shy! I'm actually the only boy out of my siblings, so I just have to sit back sometimes and let the girls be in charge of everything. Which is fine by me! I have a very nice purr that I make when people come and pet me, and I really love to play with wand toys! I am a fan of being pet and of getting snuggles, though you have to catch me first, hah! Meet Echo, a little shy guy is slowly but surely trusting humans. He was born in a 'cat colony' where there is little human touch. After he was trapped, he spent weeks in a foster home where he bonded with other kittens his size but wary of any humans. After a while, he realized where his food and warm blankets were coming from and decided to open his heart a little at a time. At Homeward Bound, he is exposed to numerous people every day and he is coming around. He actually loves to be held closely and climb on your shoulder for a better view of what else is going on around him. He rewards you with loud purrs and every now and then, we get a hint of "biscuit making".
