Cats for Adoption in White Plains, GA: 20 Cats Looking for a Home

Thankfully someone scooped these orphans up and made their odds ever in their favor, as they were brought to a local shelter and pulled by our rescue to bottle feed - they were in rough shape, encrusted in flea dirt, and with a respiratory infection brewing. Some meds, formula, and love and these babies are absolutely thriving little competitors. Primrose is the smallest of the crew, and while she is small she is mighty. She is posted here with her littermates for pre-adoption, as she didn't make weight for her surgery yet but will be going this week.

We LOVE seeing our babies adopted in pairs… having a familiar sibling/buddy helps ease their transition to a new home, and gives them a constant companion for life. For more great reasons to adopt a pair, visit http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens.

This precious girl was found at a local Walmart by one of our boys in blue and brought in to animal control at about 2 weeks old , eyes just opened and absolutely covered in fleas. She was bottle raised, and is now learning to play with other kitties her age. Wallie is a social and curious girl who loves to play and get all the attention. She would love a home with a kitty friend to socialize with.

This dynamic duo was found by a local resident at about a week old, mama didn’t make it back to them, so they reached out to the community for help and the babies made their way to us to be bottle raised. Around the time they would have been born, there was a solar eclipse happening, so they were named Eclipse and Corona. Corona is the blue girl, reminiscent of the lighter halo visible around the eclipsed sun. They are extremely playful, and are either found bouncing wildly around and wrestling, or snuggled up to nap and recharge for the next play session. Corona is probably the slightly more outgoing of the two, she’s always at the front of the line investigating whether you’re here to shower her with love or food.

They are extremely playful, and are either found bouncing wildly around and wrestling, or snuggled up to nap and recharge for the next play session. Eclipse is very sweet, though a tad more reserved than his sister until he recognizes friend or foe.

Beckham is one lucky little dude who might have used one of his nine lives already just trying to survive. He was found one night in the middle of the road near a soccer complex at about 5 weeks old, eyes crusted shut, unable to see the cars whizzing. Thankfully one of our own was one of those cars, and she was able to get turned around and scoop him up before he got hit. Once he recovered and started to hold his eyes open, we could see that one eye was back to normal but the other had severely swollen conjunctiva, where we couldn’t even yet see the eye. Antibiotic drops and blood serum have healed it remarkably, and while there will always be cloudiness in that eye, it is evident he still has some useful vision that was preserved.

Meet Macchiato… a sweet mama who is learning that people can be trusted.
Macchiato is slowly coming out of her shell, and every day she discovers a little more about what it feels like to be loved. ❤️ She absolutely LOVES head scratches—and yes, she even loves belly rubs!
Sometimes we think she may believe she’s part dog because of just how sweet she is. ❤️
She doesn’t need much… just patience, gentle love, and calm voices while she learns that she is safe and that someone will never give up on her.
Macchiato has so much love to give. She just needs someone willing to give her the time to show it. ➡️❤️
Could you be the patient, loving person she’s been waiting for? Please help Macchiato find her forever home.

Travolta was trapped by a Walton county resident and turned in to a high kill shelter. He has an ear tip and is very very smart and social. He likely has a caretaker that is missing him. When you see a cat outdoors with an ear tip and looks healthy, like Travolta, please leave them be. He is a large, healthy boy that will do well w/ any family. He desperately needs out of his cage and is trying to tell us he doesn't belong here. But sadly, he is and we hope you can adopt him. click on the photo to see all the pictures of this awesome boy!! See me at PetSmart in Conyers.

The Collision Crew names were inspired because one of them had striking double racing stripes down his back when they were little. Bondo is the buff and white boy, and he’s super sweet and slightly more laid back than his siblings. He's got cool white marble swirls on his sides like Racing Stripes.

The Collision Crew names were inspired because Racing Stripes had striking double racing stripes down his back when he were little. They are still there but a little fainter as he has grown into the social and spunky little boy he is. He's got a fascinating white marble swirl on his sides also.
