4. Lucky
Kitten (4 months 21 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 50 mi from Bismarck

Meow, and hello out there! My name is Lucky and I am from a litter of 3 kittens found without our mom when we were very young. We have been raised by humans (and a foster mama cat) and consequently love people! I am around 4.5 months old as of early September. I am a purr machine when my foster mom touches me! When I am not causing chaos or wrestling my siblings, I love to just hang out on my foster mom’s lap while I recharge my batteries. I also love my foster mom’s 7-year-old boy kitty. I would like to be adopted with one of my siblings (Spark and Lucy) or as a companion for a young cat looking for a wrestling buddy. All 3 of us are still learning that humans think our tiny teeth are sharp, so no young children right now, please.

Adopting a cat in Bismarck
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
