For the life of me, I do not know why these two are still with me. They are friendly, playful, kind, happy kittens - great with children and dogs! Bonnie and Clyde are brother/ sister that must be adopted together. They are most beautiful striped kittens which could be a bengal mix with some spots and black paw pads definitely a mix breed though.

Prince is a recent release to our rescue, two years old, and when he first arrived was terrified. Since then he had become a mush. He loves to be pet and is easy to pick up and cuddle. Prince weighs in at just under 14 lbs ! And is neutered and fully vaccinated. All ready for a new home to call his own

Melina is about 5 months old. She was trapped at a construction site in the Bronx by the rescuer. She is already spayed, tested, and vaccinated. She lives other cats! Des and Brian will foster her.

Uptown Girl Needs a Home

Galen was found wandering alone on Nagle Avenue in Washington Heights. As it happened to be a spay/neuter day for us, she was quickly whisked off to be spayed, vaccinated, and tested for FIV/FeLV (she’s negative!). We named her Nagel at first, but soon jumbled the letters to make it sound prettier – Galen. Getting to know her has been exciting for her foster person, as she has slowly learned to trust. This one-year-old kitty might do well with another feline or maybe as your one-and-only cat friend. Please consider adopting her or taking her in as a foster-to-adopt. You’ll be glad you did!

Introducing Harbor & Mariner

These sweet kitties have sadly been returned to us after eight years, and Carol picked them up on September 22.

Mariner is the one with more white on his face. They’re both extremely shy right now, which is completely understandable after such a big change, but they are incredibly gentle and sweet.

After eight years in a home, they deserve another chance at the stability and love of a forever family. Please give Harbor & Mariner a chance to feel safe, loved, and at home again.

Meet Cinnamon! This beautiful girl was found living outside near Yankee Stadium. She quickly warmed up to the kind woman who took her in and brought her to us. Like most calicos, she can be a bit spicy until she feels comfortable in her surroundings. She’s only 7-8 months old, so she would need a kitty companion. Come and check her out!

He is FIV positive, but extremely sweet and gentle young boy.

This gentle orange and cream boy knew only one home. He shared his space with a dog pal, curled up with his family, and trusted that he was loved. But when his family decided to get a puppy, Toby was surrendered—discarded simply because he was no longer shiny and new. To make matters worse, Toby was left with unmonitored diabetes and a coat so matted that his fur had to be shaved off in 2 spots. He had gone three full years without seeing a vet. Brokenhearted and neglected, Toby crashed soon after he arrived at Eleventh Hour Rescue. But Toby’s story didn't end there. Now Toby is safe in foster care, and his resilience will break your heart in the best way possible.
