1. Ace
Young (4 months 28 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 35 mi from Oklahoma City

Ace was saved by a kind person as a tiny baby. He had a tail injury when found so his tail is a bit shorter than normal. He was brought into the rescue and made friends with another single kitten named Meeps. He is a happy and loving kitten with a bit of a feisty side. He loves his food and would probably be trainable with treats.

4. Oprah
Adult (5 years) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 35 mi from Oklahoma City

This girl has the most beautiful eyes!!!. She is a bit shy and kinda picky on her food but would love a home where she could be queen. She was taken in by a kind person who can no longer care for her after she had been wandering around her neighborhood. She should be ok with other cats with some time for adjustment. She does love windowsills and fluffy beds!

5. Lilly
Young (1 year 6 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 11 mi from Oklahoma City

My name is Lilly and I am a momma cat who came to PAWS-OK just a few days before I gave birth to my wonderful kittens. I was found outside and taken in by a great older lady who only wanted the best for me but couldn't care for me and my soon to be newborns. I am super sweet and easy to handle and would love to find a great new home maybe with some young kids who would keep me busy and entertained too!

6. Penny
Young (1 year 3 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 11 mi from Oklahoma City

Hi there! Penny is my name and I was surrendered to PAWS in September 2025 after being found wandering an apartment complex in OKC. I am a very sweet girl with an opinion about everything that goes on around me. I love people and I like to eat. I was alone in my condo for a while but recently was put with another cat who took some time to get used to my energy levels LOL. A home with another active cat would be best for me.

Young (8 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 35 mi from Oklahoma City

This sweet girl has had it rough. Born to a feral mom, pregnant at 6-7 months, lost all her babies and had a pyometra when we got her. A kind lady was able to tame her and her sisters but not till they were already pregnant. She is very laid back and wants to be loved.

14. Granny
Adult (6 years 11 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 35 mi from Oklahoma City

Granny is not as old as her name implies. She was abandoned and went house to house looking for love. A nice family started feeding her but they were allergic so she couldn't come in. So now she is ready to find a new furever home, where she can be queen of the castle and lounge wherever she wants. She seems ok with other cats, unsure about dogs.

15. Callie
Adult (4 years 3 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 11 mi from Oklahoma City

Hi there! My name is Callie and I am looking for a new home. I was purchased as a young cat by my previous owner who passed away in the fall of 2025. He husband had his hands full with 2 cats and multiple dogs and hasn't been well either so he asked PAWS-OK to take me and my house mate, Gizmo. I am middle age but still happy to play with mice and love to roll around on the clod tile. I am pretty good with other pets (the dogs at my old home were smaller than me, LOL!) but would prefer to be an only (ie "spoiled") pet.

Adopting a cat in Oklahoma City
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
