Pegatha is a beautiful, approximately 5-year-old, short-haired Siamese girl who has spent far too much of her life simply trying to survive. After living on the streets as a community cat, she was discovered by volunteers at a feeding station with a terribly damaged leg injury that eventually healed into a peg leg. Thankfully, her injury has healed, and despite her rough start, Pegatha gets around remarkably well! She is agile, resourceful, and proof that a little adversity doesn't dim a cat's spirit.When volunteers realized just how friendly Pegatha was, they knew she deserved a chance at something better than life on the streets.

Sweet Michelle is a young mama cat who has finished raising her kittens and is now ready for a loving home of her very own! She and her kittens, Inky and Fidget, came to CAWS after their owner left them with a family member who ultimately was unable to be their forever home. Michelle is an absolute sweetheart. I’m a quirky tortoise-shell girl with a healthy serving of torti-tude. If there's a blanket with something under it, I'm on the case! Favorite toy: springs! Favorite activity: making the bed! Poppet was part of a community colony when the caretaker noticed that he wasn’t doing well. (He’s the one with the ear tip.) A trip to the vet revealed that he was blocked & was unable to urinate. CAWS took on his care & the vet was able to get thing flowing. But when he blocked again within days, surgery (perineal urethrostomy) was required. Duckie was adopted as a kitten but returned when her human family had twins & then a third child.

I'm Colin, and I'm a handsome freindly guy. I like people and other cats (especially my foster buddy, Chance). We are not sure how I am around dogs yet. I am active and love to play. My favorite thing is to chase and fetch a ball with the little plastic bell inside. Other balls are just not the same and when I hear that bell sounds it's an "On" switch for playtime! During the day I like to be where you are so I will follow you around but won't really bother you. I just need to be close by because I get FOMO. The cardboard cat scratchers are my favorite. I do like to eat food at any time so do best with scheduled feeding. When I find a forever home I need to be adopted with my best friend, Chance because we love grooming each other, chasing and wrestling. Meet Suzume...Suzu for short! She is extremely beautiful, sweet, quirky, and playful, but has a lot of anxiety. She needs to be treated as a special needs cat that will need a LOT of TLC to come out of her shell and show some trust. Oh, also, she's a tripod kitty but don't let her lost limb fool you, because she can get around just as well as any 4-legged cat. Suzume needs a peaceful home with no other cats, unless they are very calm and/or nurturing. She does not do well with dogs, children, or really any fast-moving things. She will need someone who can give her plenty of play time as that's the true way to get her out of her shell.

Meet Smokey! This handsome boy can be a little timid at first, but with patience and time he comes out of his shell and turns into a total snuggle bug. One of his adorable quirks is suckling on soft blankets while sitting on your lap—it’s his favorite comfort habit.Smokey would do best as the only pet in a calm home and does well with children 12 and older.
