Cats for Adoption in Lumberport, WV: 20 Cats Looking for a Home

UPDATED: Wyatt is adopted!

Everyone, meet Echo! Echo is a beautiful 4 year old girl with beautiful long hair. She has a great personality and gets along great with the other cats in her foster home. One of Echo's cutest habits is carrying her favorite toys (or a sock lol) around the house. She'll even leave one in her food bowl as a special little surprise! Echo was born with a deformed eye, but it doesn't slow her down one bit. She doesn't let it stop her from playing, exploring, or enjoying life. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, and she's ready to find the loving indoor home she deserves. Echo is looking for a family where she can be cherished and treated like the queen she truly is. Meet Stella!

This green eyed beauty is a sweetheart! She was a wonderful mama to six kittens but now she’s ready to be the center of attention.
She’s affectionate, very playful and loves chin and cheek scratches!

Stella is unfazed by loud noises and friendly with new people.
She has lived with a 40-pound dog while in foster care but isn’t quite comfortable with dogs yet, so she’ll need a slow and patient introduction.

Jett has quite the unique story. He originally came to the shelter with another cat and immediately shut down and would stay in hiding and let no one touch him. So, we had a volunteer who lived close take him and had him live outside there.

A couple months later we noticed a black cat in the woods behind the shelter hanging around. He kept his distance but, eventually he started meowing and getting closer for us to realize it was Jett! He made his way back to the shelter and decided he just wanted to hang around outside. So, for the last year we have been providing shelter and feeding/watering him and he has been very content.

Introducing Aster!

This tiny gal was found exploring the big world all alone on the edge of a busy road and vast woodland. Approximately three months old, Aster has received her first vaccination and tested negative for feline leukemia.

Aster is looking for a home that will join in the fun and provide lots of enrichment. She is adventurous in new environments and seeks a playmate and exploring partner. When playtime ends, expect purrs and cuddles from this little lovebug.

Lillian has a gentle and curious soul. She takes a little to warm up to you, but will instantly start purring when you pet her. She is still figuring her new environment out. We are still learning more about her as well.

Lillian is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, and has been given Nexgard Combo.
