Zipper thinks he’s a dog, but his foster family keeps reminding him that he is a cat. So he tells the other cats in the household that he is a dog-cat. His foster dad keeps reminding him he is a cat, however Zipper respectfully disagrees. It is possible in a different lifetime Zipper was a dog because he definitely feels like a dog. Just when we thought we had heard it all, we took in a kitten that had been strangled. Yes, you read that correctly. Sweet Nimshe was found strangled and not in great shape. She is making a remarkable recovery in an experienced, loving foster home and is now ready to be adopted. She is learning to trust people and listens intently when her foster mom and dad tell her she is safe. She has started to cuddle up to them and relax. Nimshe loves to play with toys and she enjoys exploring her foster home. She is being introduced to the other cats in the home slowly and is very interested in them. Its a good thing cats have nine lives.

Poppy came to us with her sister Penelope and a tummy filled with four babies The babies are grown and now Poppy is hoping to find a forever home. If she finds a home with Penelope, that would be even better. These calico sisters are best friends. They are both super sweet.
