Adult (2 years 1 month) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Bella is one of our young mommies! She raised adorable kittens very well (coming soon), and she is ready to be the center of attention. Bella is easygoing, but she has had it with other cats, and she is the only pet you need. So many kittens took it out of her! She also loves to greet her humans and is sweet natured with just a silly sprinkle of tortitude. It doesn’t hurt anything that she’s teeny and beautiful. Estimated at only two and fully vetted, Bella is all ready to start her life with a family!

11. Reva

Adult (5 years 2 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Reva needs a little help and patience. We know she is a sweet cat because we spent a lot of time with her one-on-one in the intake area, even giving her medicine for typical parasite control. She was always calm and relaxed and had a very comforting demeanor--in fact, her kittens are the ultra-social litter, mostly dilute torties, with R names! She raised those babies to be so friendly, but Reva herself is having a little trouble getting used to a community room. This honestly isn't a huge surprise when it comes to cats in general, as most need a gradual transition to any new situation. It's amazing most of our cats do so well when it's not really practical for us to slowly introduce them! So Reva is feeling a little shy right now and doesn't always want to come out, though she is not fighting or causing any problems. She is just taking things at her own pace, and we hope a bit of time will help her adjust so that this description can be updated! Before you meet beautiful Reva, you must know that she's had hard times in her life and she may not crawl right into your lap. . . but you also must know that she does like people, and she just needs time and stability to shine and to bond with the human she has always dreamed of. Would you be willing to take a chance on her? Could you find a place in your heart for her to get comfortable and share her purrs forever?

12. Norman

Adult (4 years 3 months) · Male · Domestic Medium Hair (medium coat)

Handsome Norman is a favorite among his human friends and ready for a beautiful life! How such a cat came to be on his own, we have no idea, but we find all kinds. It is typical for cats to take some time to adjust to new situations, but after a short while, Norman found himself strolling the adoption floor comfortable and happy. (It probably helped that his people were so enthusiastic about offering him extra love!) He is a fairly chill cat, but that doesn't mean he isn't up for a play session if engaged! He likes to cuddle and love, and is always trying to get to his humans. Norman had a bad URI when we found him, and his eyes have a unique look at the time because we are treating an eyelid condition. They are doing much better than they were!! Norman does not act for one second like he's uncomfortable, feels sorry for himself, or even knows he looks different, which he barely does. He can see just fine. What he sees is that cats are nice friends and people are perfect for loving and being loved!! What more could you ask for in a pet than that? Applying to meet Norman does not obligate you to adopt, but he is worth knowing.

14. Bigfoot

Adult (2 years 2 months) · Male · Domestic Medium Hair (medium coat)

Unlike his namesake, Bigfoot is very outgoing, and you would be unlikely to miss him. . . he would not let you!! Bigfoot just adores attention and fun. He wants to greet you, he wants to be by your side, he wants to play, accept a treat, or simply get some petting!! He is very vigorous and a busy boy, though of course cats do sleep a lot of the day, so he will be a cuddle buddy, too. Bigfoot has met quite a few cats recently in our community room, and we would not want to give the impression that there was zero friction. But he is doing well enough that no fur is flying and he is able to stay out with his many new best friends. Most cats do need a slow introduction! Bigfoot could be a solo companion or join a family. 17. Chatsworth

Adult (3 years) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Chatsworth is a friendly, affectionate boy! When he greets you, you can see how his soul sparkles with love for his people. He likes to cuddle, and he likes to check on what you are doing and make sure you're okay and if he can be involved. Whatever you have going on, Chatsworth would be your companion and very best friend, honored to be chosen to spend his life with you. He promises to do everything he can to brighten your days.

Read more about Chatsworth

Chatsworth does test positive for FIV, which just means a lower immune system than average. He also has a regressive FeLV infection. This means the virus is in his body, but he is not showing any problems resulting from it. He is doing great! FeLV can shorten a cat's lifespan, though with regressive FeLV, a typical lifespan is possible. At the end of the day, we don't know how long anyone will live, but we do know how much love Chatsworth has to give, and how much it would mean to him to be accepted and adopted, to have a permanent family for the time he has. Because of the transmission risk with FeLV, his family should not include any other cats, unless they are also FeLV positive.

Many people might look at Chatsworth's profile and see a diagnosis. An end. But we have looked into Chatsworth's face, and we see a beginning. We see the present. Cats live in the moment, and with Chatsworth, so do we. . . with his love and sunny personality, we cannot help but return to the moment, listening to his purrs and happy meows! We believe someone is out there who would like to become Chatsworth's family. Could it be you?

18. Katherine

Adult (3 years 8 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Katherine is an assertive young lady who knows her own mind. She likes to see other cats outside, but she does not want to personally meet them. . . and maybe she is wise to feel that way! Katherine was declawed on all four paws, and this often leads to behavioral issues, as cats like Katherine don't have a typical mild defense and must resort to biting if they really feel endangered. Because of this vulnerability, Katherine also does not want to be in a home with small children. We are a no-declaw group because we see how the practice leads to this type of harm and trauma, but we do not turn away cats who are already declawed if they need our help.

Read more about Katherine

It is not such a bad thing to know what you want in life, and to let others know your feelings if you are displeased. This is a quality we may praise in people but denigrate in cats. We believe there is a place in the world for a cat like Katherine, someone who simply speaks her mind. She has been through amputation, she has been through cohabitation with beings who took her at her disadvantage, and she has been through rehoming. She simply wants peace and acceptance! She has a world of love to give in return to the person who finally gives her a place to be herself. Could it be you?

19. Murphy

Adult (1 year 8 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet a true "shadow-dweller" of the feline world—a cat whose substantial, sturdy build is entirely mismatched with his sweet, sensitive, and deeply playful soul.

The Look: Big Frame, Bigger Eyes: At first glance, Murphy commands attention with a large, solid body, heavy paws, and a broad chest. But any intimidating presence instantly vanishes the moment you look at his face. His expressive, round eyes function like a window to his thoughts.

Read more about Murphy

When something catches his attention, those eyes dilate into giant, dark saucers of pure curiosity. Whether they are tracking a sunbeam or watching you open a cabinet, his gaze communicates everything from intense focus to absolute adoration without making a sound.

Personality & Play Style: Despite having a big body, Murphy moves with a lighthearted, almost goofy energy when it's time to play. He isn’t aloof; he wants to be right in the middle of whatever you are doing.

The Curious Investigator: Every delivery box, open closet, or rustling paper bag requires a thorough inspection. Murphy approaches the world with an open, friendly inquisitiveness.

The Sassy Acrobat: Murphy loves interactive games—chasing feather wands, fetching favorite toys, or doing the classic "sideways crab walk" when he gets excited. He might also practice his mischievous ways, like batting a pen off a desk just to see it fall. Watching a large, substantial black cat leap into the air for a toy with total joy (and perhaps a little dramatic flair) is pure entertainment.

The Sweet Companion: When playtime ends, Murphy’s sweet nature takes over. He is the kind of cat that leans their heavy body against your leg, follows you from room to room just to be near, and uses those massive, melting eyes to gently ask for chin scratches.

The Perfect Balance: Murphy offers the best of both worlds—the robust, striking presence of a big-bodied feline with black gleaming fur, combined with the gentle, playfully mischievous heart of a lifelong kitten.

21. Briar

Adult (2 years 3 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Briar is a cute and outgoing cat who is full of life and energy! In fact, he is so smart and extroverted that we discovered he was able to open a kennel, and we had to use extra security measures on intake. Briar has been lovingly spoiled by his human friends at Catsnap. Briar needs a slow introduction with other cats, he can tolerate them but he would prefer they not get into his business too much. He is a chill guy, but he is loves to greet his people… it sounds like a combo made in heaven! Would you like to meet Briar and see if he could be your next family member? Submit an application! He is eager to start the forever home part of his life.

22. Piper

Kitten (4 months 29 days) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Piper is a cute little tabbico ready to pipe right up and make your home more exciting! Her markings are very unique, with her inner eyeliner, signature M on her forehead, and wild-rabbit-like lower back. She has been the shyest of her litter, but she is doing great in foster and learning that people are fun! Piper loves the classic squeeze treats, and also feather toys, and these things are encouraging her to approach her foster mom. She just needs a little time and effort to form a deep bond with someone special. She would do well with her brother or one of her sisters (she has a special relationship with Pippa), or we have other kittens who could be a companion to her as well. The most important ingredient in her new life is you! Consider applying to meet Piper and see if she might be the newest member of your family.

23. Trapper

Senior (10 years 5 months) · Male · Domestic Medium Hair (medium coat)

Trapper is a FAVORITE within the rescue!! He will touch your heart. With all that he has gone through in his decade of life, what he still wants is just love. He adores being petted, held, loved on, and what we want for him more than anything is a home to give him that on a constant basis!! Trapper will bond with you and we can't conceptualize how grateful he will be for a home. He doesn't want to be too picky, but he'd do best if people are around most of the time, so he never has to fear being alone again.

Read more about Trapper

Trapper has diabetes. This is currently controlled with an oral med--no needle sticks! He feels so much better now that his sugar is at a normal level. Another diagnosis for Trapper is FIV, a retrovirus he picked up on the streets. This simply means his immune system is not quite as active as a cat without FIV. With good food and love indoors, Trapper has been doing so well! These things are just a small part of who Trapper is. He cannot help his health, and his soul is still beautiful and loving underneath any diagnosis.

Trapper knows he is not a new kitten. He knows he needs a little extra care. He loves all of us at Catsnap for giving him a soft place to land. . . but he has a special hope, that someone would want to take him home. To offer his own bowls, his own bed, and let him spread out, knowing this is forever for him. It would mean everything to Trapper, and honestly, to us. Please consider opening your heart to a cat like Trapper. Applying to meet him does not obligate you to adopt, but he is worth meeting.

24. Moo

Senior (9 years 5 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Moo is one of our more mature ladies. She is an established pet, and she has been a lot of fun to get to know! Things have to be on her terms--if she doesn't want to be petted, she will let you know, but a cute thing about her boundary setting is that she will smack but not use claws. She doesn't want to hurt! She has used her wisdom of years to figure out how to communicate and also control herself. . . she may also simply be scoping out her environment, because she cannot see well. Moo would be a good choice for an appreciator of beautiful markings, a seasoned cat owner with good cat sense, and probably no young children or overly energetic pets in the home. She doesn't want to be picky, but she simply needs a quieter life at this stage!

Read more about Moo

Moo will need wet food because she doesn't have many teeth. She has great litterbox habits, and she is dainty and cute! All she needs is someone who will understand her, and someone willing to be there for her. She is doing very well, and she wants to spend her years relaxing and sharing love with a person. Could it be you?

25. Bear

Adult (2 years 5 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Bear is a friendly, fun cat!! The worst thing for him was having to be separated from people and cats at intake. All he wanted to do was get our attention and make friends!! He can often be found grooming his compatriots in our community room, and he loves to come right up to humans, too. He definitely has the ideal pet personality! He is a greeter, a lover, a chatter, and enjoys a good play or treat, too.

Read more about Bear

Bear does test positive for FIV, which is a retrovirus he caught while on the street. FIV can only be spread among cats through drastic contact like deep bite wounds. . . cats with stable social structures in households do not pass the virus! I find that FIV positive cats tend to be the sweetest because they were the ones picked on. FIV requires no special medicine, just good food, an indoor home, prompt wellness care. . . the same as any Catsnap cat. Would you consider a perfect pet with a slightly lower immune system? Apply to meet Bear and our other adoptable cats and see what you think!

26. Nutmeg

Adult (3 years 2 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Nutmeg is our cutie girl! She wasn't sure at first about this whole indoors thing, but she needed some care for a scrape on her nose. . . nothing like having your nose touched daily to learn that people mean you no harm! From our perspective, she sure looked adorable with her nose cream, like she was wearing sunblock on the beach. She is all better now, and she decided she no longer wanted to be released! She likes people and she has heard through some other cats about this "pet" and "forever family" thing. Could she find her very own people?? Nutmeg thinks it's almost too good to be true. Apply to meet Nutmeg and our other available cats today, and make someone's dreams a reality!

27. Cashew

Young (9 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Cashew was caught in a TNR sweep, and he is glad he was. Things were scary on the street!
