Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. Meet the Dynamic Duo: Jelly Belly & Jelly Tot! These medium-haired tabby sisters are full of sugar, spice, and everything nice. While they are a bonded pair who do everything together, they couldn’t have funnier opposite personalities! Jelly Tot (The Fearless Explorer): Don’t let her tiny size fool you—Tot is the brave ringleader of the operation! Equipped with a cute pink-tipped nose, she refuses to let anything (or anyone) stop her from exploring. She’s already tried to break out of the kitten room to befriend the resident older cats because, in her mind, everyone is her new best friend. Jelly Belly / "Baby" (The Thoughtful Observer): Sporting a sweet brown nose, Belly is slightly bigger than her sister and a bit more cautious. She likes to take her sweet time assessing a situation before diving into the fun. What they have in common: Once the exploring is done, both girls turn into absolute cuddle bugs who love to play and soak up all the attention they can get. Looking to double your fun and bring home the ultimate sweet-treat duo? Apply to adopt Jelly Belly and Jelly Tot today!

DOB: 6/23/2026
Nessie is the tiny and mighty tortie girl of her litter with three much larger brothers. She doesn’t let her size prevent her from wrestling matches or toy stealing. Nessie purrs a lot once you get to know her. She can be a little shy at first but with a little patience and time, she will be rubbing on you for petting. Her favorite games are soccer with a pompom and running through hoop toys. If you like torties but don’t want the tortietude, Nessie could be a great fit for you.

35. Jason
Kitten (1 year) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB: 9/30/25
Read more about Jason
Meet Jason — three legs and a whole lot of love!
Jason came into rescue with a leg injury that required amputation, but being a tripod hasn’t slowed this sweet boy down. He’s enjoying the good life, and his favorite part is being close to his people.
This affectionate boy loves to lie beside you—or right on you! He enjoys being brushed and is always happy to spend time together. If you’re looking for a devoted companion, Jason is ready to be your little shadow.
His other great love is food! We suspect meals weren’t always easy to find during his days on the streets. Now, mealtime is a highlight of his day.
A few thoughtful touches will help Jason feel comfortable in his forever home: an elevated food dish, an uncovered litter box, and an ottoman or sturdy step to help him reach the couch, chair, or bed for snuggles. He also enjoys toys he can play with while sitting, including hanging toys he can reach with his front paw and a ball toy to keep him entertained.
Jason has so much love to give. He’s ready for a home where he can enjoy good meals, cozy naps, and a special person to curl up with.

How to adopt from Colony Cats (& dogs)
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $125 for kittens 6 months and younger; $75 for kittens over 6 months and adults up to 7 years; $50 for 7 years and older. If adopting 2 kittens/cats at the same time there is a $25 discount. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), microchip, flea prevention, vaccinations (FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies are old enough to receive a rabies vaccine). If not, the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done.
