8. Peach
Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Peach, a kitten who is energetic, sweet, and always ready to explore. She was found as a stray and is now thriving in foster care with both cats and dogs. Peach can be a little nervous in new environments at first, but once she settles in, she loves to run, climb, wrestle, and play.
She is litter box trained and would do well in a home with plenty of enrichment, especially a cat tree. Another friendly pet could be a great match for her, though it is not required. Peach is affectionate on her own terms and tends to prefer hanging out nearby rather than being constantly held.

If you are looking for a playful, active kitten who will keep you entertained, Peach may be the perfect fit!
We strongly encourage adopting two kittens, especially if you don't already have a young, playful cat at home. Kittens thrive with a buddy, and it often makes for an easier, happier transition for everyone.
Bonus: We offer a discounted adoption fee when adopting two kittens (see below!)
Our goal is to set both you and your new kitten(s) up for success, and we're here to help every step of the way.

The Indredible Dash is fast and furious, tiny but tough. He loves to play with the ball tower, chase balls and toys. Right now he's all kitten and doesn't sit still for very long. He plays hide and seek and practices his hunting and pouncing skills, usually on the people. He will climb the cat tower - or your leg.

13. Jinx
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Jinx, a one-year-old bundle of curiosity, energy, and affection! Jinx is currently staying in our "Cat Dorm," located inside a female juvenile detention center near Waco, where she provides comfort and companionship to the young women there while also enjoying the company of other cats.
Jinx originally came to us through our PASS program while her owner worked through a difficult season. When it became clear that returning home would not be possible, her owner made the incredibly hard and loving decision to surrender Jinx and her companion, Kiba, for adoption.
Read more about Jinx
Jinx is playful, smart, curious, and full of personality. She loves to explore, play, and keep herself entertained, but she is just as happy curling up for a cuddle when it's time to nap. She has that perfect mix of silly kitten energy and sweet, comforting companionship.
Jinx does not have to be adopted with Kiba, but if you fall in love with both of them, we would be happy to waive one adoption fee so the pair can go home together for $100 total.
If you're looking for a fun, loving cat who can make you laugh one minute and curl up beside you the next, Jinx may be your girl.

14. Kiba
Adult · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Kiba, a two-year-old laid-back gentleman with an independent streak and a very thoughtful little soul. He is generally quiet, observant, and low-energy, preferring cozy spots to nap and keeping a watchful eye on everything around him. He can be guarded at first and may take the long way around unfamiliar cats rather than engage, but he has never been aggressive. He is litter box trained, scratching post trained, and very good at communicating when he wants food, attention, or a little playtime.
Read more about Kiba
Kiba's favorite relationship is with his little sister, Jinx. She is the one cat who can reliably convince him to wrestle, play, and let his guard down, and their bond is incredibly sweet to watch. He tolerates other cats but would do best with space to retreat and decompress. He has not been exposed to dogs or children. With people, Kiba is affectionate on his own terms and prefers to come to you rather than be picked up or fussed over. He may never be a velcro cat, but he would likely enjoy having one or two people he can quietly claim as his own.
Kiba and Jinx originally came to us through our PASS program while their owner was working to get back on their feet. Their owner ultimately made the difficult decision to surrender them both so they could find loving permanent homes. They do not have to be adopted together, but Kiba would absolutely love to stay with Jinx, and if you are interested in bringing home both siblings, we would be happy to waive one adoption fee, making the total adoption fee for both cats $100. Independent, observant, sweet, and very particular about his preferences... a true Virgo.

17. Sol Invictus
Kitten · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

El Sol Invictus, "the sun, undefeated". A name fitting his sunny personality rather than his grey tuxedo coat. Still a handsome boy whichever way you slice it! Sol is a pretty typical kitten. All shiny personality, energetic, and a bright, inquisitive mind. He hasn't yet had the opportunity to meet other animals or kids, but he's been able to have fun playing by himself with toys or with his foster. He also really likes getting pets and scritches. He'll stretch himself out so you can reach more places. Sol has gone from dumpster to indoors, and he's quite happy. Now all he needs is you.

18. Overnight Shipping
Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Ossy and her littermates have one of the more unusual arrival stories we've heard. The kittens were discovered by a UPS driver in the back of a delivery truck, tucked among the packages with no explanation for how they got there. Naturally, their foster family decided a shipping-themed set of names was in order!
Read more about Overnight Shipping
At around 6-8 weeks old, Ossy is a spunky little girl who believes there is no such thing as too high to climb or too much to explore. She can often be found perched at the top of the cat tree, making her way onto her foster's shoulder or investigating whatever has caught her attention next. When she finally wears herself out, she's equally happy curled up on a warm heating pad with her siblings.
Ossy is very people-oriented and loves attention and pets. Her foster describes her as a little shadow who wants to be close to her humans, and she has no problem reminding you when she's ready for an adventure. She's also the quickest of her litter and has already mastered the art of making a speedy escape through the bathroom door whenever the opportunity presents itself!
She is litter box and scratching post trained and has shown positive interest in the resident pets from a distance, although formal introductions are still to come. Because Ossy loves the company of her littermates, she would especially enjoy going home with her sister Stamp or joining a family with another friendly cat.
With her unique coloring, tabby-striped legs, curious personality and talent for turning just about anything into a toy, Ossy is one special delivery you'll definitely want to keep.
And unlike most overnight shipping, this package comes with unlimited snuggles.
All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. 19. Stamp
Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Courageous is the perfect description for little Stamp. This girl may be small but she's the first of her litter mates to try new things. Climbing is her favorite extra-curricular sport!
Of all her siblings, Stamp shows her independence and her curiosity. She likes to wander off and explore. She'd love to have a cat tree to conquer, too. If she gets to make new feline friends, she's already found out how much fun rough and tumbles can be.
Read more about Stamp
Stamp enjoys curling up and cuddling with her brothers and sisters, but she's the "big" girl in this little family. She's a healthy eater and when her energy level piques, watch her zoom! She's a playful, happy girl ready for a playful and happy home.
Stamp is available for pre-adopt only at this time as she is not old enough to move to a forever home, but applications can still be completed. Applications for pre-adopt are processed in the order they are received.
All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. My siblings are also my best friends! Growing up together means we play, snuggle, and learn from each other every day. Consider adopting two* of us so we can keep being the purr-fect pair! My siblings: Tigger, OJ, Julius, Cali (*discounts apply for double kitten adoption.)
We strongly encourage adopting two kittens, especially if you don't already have a young, playful cat at home. Kittens thrive with a buddy, and it often makes for an easier, happier transition for everyone.

28. Julius
Kitten · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Julius is a boy with a commitment to the things he enjoys most in life. For example, he is completely onboard with fun and exciting playtime. He loves playing chase and will thrive in a home with a playmate. He hasn't met any dogs or children yet, so for starters, having a feline friend is a great way for him to make the most of playtime.
When it comes to downtime, Julius is fully committed to his nap. All that energy used up during playtime requires this little boy to rest as hard as he plays. He's content to sleep for long stretches - even if that time is spent on your lap.
Read more about Julius
Julius uses his litter box and his scratching post, so those will be must-haves to make him feel at home. Having a good spot for naps (in addition to your lap) will help him settle in, too. The other important must-have for Julius: lots and lots of cuddles!
My siblings are also my best friends! Growing up together means we play, snuggle, and learn from each other every day. Consider adopting two* of us so we can keep being the purr-fect pair! My siblings: Tigger, OJ, Julius, Cali (*discounts apply for double kitten adoption.)

29. Tigger
Kitten · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Tigger is a first-generation domesticated baby. His mother was feral, but now her kids can have access to a better life! Tigger hasn't really been exposed to too much outside of his litter mates and two adult cats, but he's young and you may yet get to expand his horizons! So far his personality is pretty chill. He likes to cuddle and be a co-worker, but he'll also join his litter mates in a romp and chase. His current favorite toys are little balls and the TV! Yes, this kitten actually watches the TV, so take care with what you put on there! Impressionable little eyes are watching. Tigger may be small now, but he has a really big purr to go with those cuddles. How can you possibly resist this adorable bundle? Click the button below to meet Tigger.

31. Anna
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Anna Banana is a quiet, dainty girl who takes a little time to warm up. Give her a little patience, plenty of snacks, and maybe a Churu, and watch her become your little bestie.
Truly, the way to Anna Banana's heart is through her stomach. Her siblings may be twice her size, but she'll happily shove her way to the front of the line and let everyone know that the treat is clearly meant for her. She's usually soft-spoken, but when mealtime rolls around, she'll be sure to let you know she's hungry! Lately, her favorite way to unwind is curling up on a cozy chair.

35. Stella
Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Stella is a calm and friendly cat who gets along with everyone. She likes to cuddle, purrs loudly, and is gentle in her play. She is not overly hyper, and is happy to spend a few minutes (5 to 20) playing with balls and feathers or chase with the other cat before settling in. Typically she gets a 30 minute session in am, around dinner and before bed. She likes to be near people and animals, but is also happy to curl up next to us or just spend time in the same room. She has done well playing with small children and other cats, and has been social with strangers.

36. Suki Sue
Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Suki Sue is an elegant and regal queen, always finding the perfect perch to watch over her kingdom. While she may not be the cuddliest cat around, that doesn't mean she doesn't show her love in other ways. She will run to greet you at the door when you come home (maybe just to sniff your shoes but hey), and when it's family time in the living room she always opts to lay in the middle of the rug or on the couch. She lives for playing and has been known to drift like a racecar when her zoomies really get going, whether it's wrestling with her favorite baseball, leaping at her scratching post, or wiggling her butt when peeking over a ledge at her next target.

We blame the craziness on the orange side of her tortitude (if you know you know). She pads the line between active and chill, switching between napping on the floor close to you or going ham on her scratching board. This queen is the perfect addition to your family.
37. Mama Bear
Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

If you have ever owned a Tortie cat, you understand the allure!
Mama Bear is a sweet mama cat who has been through a lot and is ready for retirement and to live out her days in a peaceful place she can call her own.
She is an affectionate and chatty gal who is mostly chill but does have her moments of energy! She gets along with other cats but would likely be happiest as the only cat in the family.
She is litter box and scratching post trained and loves nothing more than some chin scritches and head pets followed by a nap in the sun or next to her person.

39. Dratini
Young · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Dratini!
If you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts playful goofball and professional cuddle bug, Dratini is your guy!
At just 6 months old, Dratini has never met a stranger. He's incredibly social with people and will happily track you down just to curl up in your lap, rub his little face against yours, and remind you that cuddles are his full-time job. When he's not showering his humans with affection, he's burning off his kitten energy by wrestling, chasing toys, and playing with his very best friend, Virginia.
Read more about Dratini
Dratini's journey has already shown just how resilient he is. After arriving at Dallas Animal Services, he was diagnosed with panleukopenia. Thanks to dedicated foster care, he made a full recovery and has grown into the happy, healthy kitten he is today.
This sweet boy absolutely thrives with another playful feline friend and would especially love to be adopted with Virginia Slim. The two are inseparable. They play together, nap together, and even look out for each other. If one is accidentally left in another room, the other will let everyone know until they're reunited. Virginia has even been known to cover Dratini's litter box "oopsies" when he forgets.
Dratini is litter box trained, does well in a carrier, and is always ready for his next meal, often standing (and sometimes even walking!) on his back legs in excitement. Whether he's chasing toys, snuggling on the couch, or making you laugh with his silly antics, Dratini is guaranteed to fill your home with love and entertainment.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate kitten who will be your shadow and your snuggle buddy, Dratini is ready to meet you!
**Would love to be adopted with foster housemate Virginia Slim, not required, though.
We strongly encourage adopting two kittens, especially if you don't already have a young, playful cat at home. Kittens thrive with a buddy, and it often makes for an easier, happier transition for everyone.

40. Eevee
Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Eevee is SUCH a sweet girl. She loves love. She wants attention whenever she can get it. When her humans are closed away from her, she is on the other side of the door and screaming to be let in! She has not become a lap cat yet, but she's close. She's coming nearer and nearer whenever her foster humans are hanging out on the couch. She certainly wants to be close by, even if she's not physically on top of them.
Read more about Eevee
This girl has a loud purr, and she's generous with its use. If you even just look at her, her little motor starts to rumble. It gets even more intense when you pet her or hold her. It's loudest when you pet her belly, which is NOT a trap.
Eevee is only about a year and a half old. She's still active and playful, and she would do well with other young, active, and playful cats. Although she lives with three large and annoying dogs, she doesn't seem to notice that the canines even exist. She coexists with them beautifully. Best of all, this cat does better with children than you can ever imagine! When a young toddler visited one day, Eevee decided the child was her new best friend, and she was calm, sweet, and gentle, even when the toddler got a bit too rough.
