HOMELESS & ORPHANED PETS ENDEAVOR in Houston, TX has 74 cats and kittens up for adoption. Here are the 40 newest, each with photos, their story and how to get in touch.
Right now that's 38 kittens, 22 young cats, 11 adults and 3 seniors.
1. Honor
Kitten (4 months 27 days) · Female · Tuxedo / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 6/1/26
They say it’s an honor to meet someone special, and I’m here to prove it! I’m Honor, small but mighty, with a curious mind and full of sweetness to make your heart feel truly honored! I’m an affectionate, playful little adventurer who loves climbing cat shelves to survey my kingdom and chasing jingle balls and toys with my sister, Haven, my brother, Happy, and the other cats in my foster home. I may be the smallest of the bunch, but I certainly know how to make a big impression!
Read more about Honor
I’m also a people-loving sweetheart who adores my foster’s 5-year-old human. I love watching him draw and even try my paw at making art of my own! My foster’s Chiweenie pup doesn’t faze me, either. And when my adventures are over, I’ll happily curl up in your arms like a baby, soaking up pets and purring to my and your heart’s content.
My story didn’t start out so happily—I was rescued from an unkind apartment complex where cats like me and my siblings were hurt, and we hid among used tires trying to stay safe. Now I’m ready for a future filled with love, playtime, and cozy cuddles. I’d love a furever home with another furry companion -- like one of my siblings (hint!) -- to share my adventures with, and little humans would be a wonderful bonus!
I’m looking for a family who will encourage my playful adventures, admire my climbing skills, and save plenty of lap space for our cuddle sessions. If you’re looking for a petite package with a big personality, consider this your official invitation! I promise to bring the fun, the sweetness, and all the purrs your heart can handle. It would be my honor to be your newest family member—and your forever little sidekick!
HOPE ID 26-0801-A057
Honor’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

2. Haven
Kitten (4 months 27 days) · Female · Tuxedo / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 6/1/26
Looking for a little haven of happiness? You’ve found her! I’m Haven, a sweet grey-and-white tuxedo girl who’s ready to charm my way into your heart, one belly rub at a time. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a bit of time to feel safe, and you’ll soon see my curious, playful side shine through. Once I’m comfortable, I love exploring my surroundings and showing off my signature move: flopping onto my back to offer up my soft belly in hopes of scoring some gentle rubs. Go ahead, give me a few, and I’ll reward you with endless, contented purrs. Before you know it, you’ll be feeling right at home with me!
Read more about Haven
I’m a gentle soul who gets along well with my foster family’s little Chiweenie, their 5-year-old son, and the senior kitties in the house. I especially love playing with my brother, Happy, and my sister, Honor. We chase, tumble, and wrestle together like the silly kittens we are. My story didn’t start out quite so happy. I was rescued from an unkind apartment where cats and kittens like me and my siblings were hurt. We hid and tumbled around among used tires, trying to find safety.
Now I’m searching for a special place to call my own—a true Haven where I can feel safe, loved, and free to let my personality blossom. I’m hoping for a family who’ll spoil me with snuggles, belly rubs, and plenty of playtime. I might need a little patience at first, but once I settle in, I’ll be ready to fill your home with purrs and affection.
If your home could use a little more love and a whole lot of purrs, I might just be your purr-fect Haven! And if you happen to fall for my siblings, too, Happy and Honor would make wonderful additions to the family. Why settle for one little blessing when you could have a whole haven of happiness?
HOPE ID 26-0801-A058
Haven’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

Kitten (4 months 27 days) · Male · Tuxedo / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 6/1/26
“Don’t worry, be happy!” And that's me, Happy! I'm a dapper, affectionate tuxedo kitten, dressed to impress and ready to purr my way into your heart! My name isn’t Happy for nothing. With my charming personality and easygoing nature, I’m sure to bring a little sunshine into your life.

I’m a curious, playful, happy-go-lucky little guy who enjoys whatever the day brings in life. I’ll rub against your legs to say hello, then flop over to show off my adorable, jiggly, roly-poly self. I’ve got a playful spirit, a cuddly personality, and the dapper good looks to make every day feel like a special occasion. After all, a little tuxedo never goes out of style!
Making friends comes naturally to me! I get along with other cats, including my two sisters, Haven and Honor, my foster dog, and my 5-year-old foster human. Whether I’m romping with my furry friends, soaking up attention, or flopping around being my adorable self, I’m always ready to turn an ordinary day into a happy one!
My story didn’t start out quite so happy. I was rescued from an unkind apartment where cats and kittens like me and my siblings were hurt. We hid and tumbled around among used tires, trying to find safety. But you can’t keep a happy guy down! I’ve got plenty of sunshine in my spirit and so much love left to share.
Now I’m hoping my next chapter will be a happily-ever-after! I promise to bring the cuddles, the giggles, and plenty of paw-sitive, laid-back vibes. So, if you’re looking for a handsome little companion—and maybe a furry sibling or two to join the fun—I’m ready to suit up and be the feline companion you've been looking for. Arrange to meet me today!

4. Chez
Young (2 years 7 months) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 3/17/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Chez, a sweet, gentle “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly brown tabby on the top part of my body and mostly white on my legs and tummy. It’s said that the eyes are the window of the soul, and once you gaze into my eyes, which look like large, green globes, you immediately see my innocence, kindness, and tenderness. I’m quite a purr baby, and sometimes Foster Meowmy has to turn up the TV because my purr motor sounds like an outboard motor.
Read more about Chez
I was adopted as a kitten to a home where I was deeply cherished by my person, but unfortunately, I’m looking for a new home through no fault of my own. My owner tearfully surrendered both me and my kitty friend Keegan back to HOPE because she had to move in as the caretaker for her mom, who has immune-compromised issues, but the apartment management did not allow cats. What a bummer – because I was so happy and contented in what I thought was my forever home. Although I really miss my hooman as well as my playmate Keegan, I’m enjoying my quiet, loving foster home where Foster Meowmy has welcomed me with open arms.
Now I’m ready to bring my sweet, gentle spirit to grace my second – and this time forever – home. Could that be you? It would be the cat’s meow if there were another kitty to be my playmate, although I’m fine being a solo kitty. I never hiss, scratch, or bite, so I’d probably be great around kids, although there were no kids in my other home. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

6. Rawl
Kitten (2 months 10 days) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 8/11/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Rawl, a friendly, affectionate, and playful pastel grey tabby fella who loves being handled and petted. I guess you’d call me a Velcro kitten because I adore being close to my beloved Foster Meowmy. I luxuriate when she scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears while I cuddle contentedly in her lap, and I sleep nestled next to her at night. If she decides to shut her bedroom door, I’ll mew on the other side to wake her up and remind her it’s breakfast time!
Read more about Rawl
A neighbor of my Foster Meowmy’s mom found me as a four-week-old orphan with no momma or siblings in sight. Of course Foster Meowmy hurried over to scoop me up, welcome me with open arms, and give me a safe haven in her home. I was delighted to find a whole surrogate family of resident cats to teach me all the manners I needed to learn since Momma was not around. My best friend is a teenage foster kitty named Astro, and we play and snuggle together like siblings. Plus the kids in my foster home keep me entertained by our interactive play with wand toys. I’m rather addicted to the Churus that all my foster hooman family offers to me!
Now I’m ready to enchant everyone with my innocent face as well as deliver love and laughter to all of my forever family, including their cats -- and maybe even their cat-friendly dogs. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today, and I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant we meet.

7. Julia
Senior (10 years 7 months) · Female · Torbie / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 3/3/16
Hey there, everyone! I’m Julia, an affectionate, cuddly, and laid-back “torbie” gal, which means that I’m mostly brown tabby with patches of orange that look like I’ve been sprinkled with caramel in a candy factory. I also have a white chin and one white toe! My big, green-globe eyes are truly “the window to my soul” because they convey my calm, innocent, and relaxed disposition. I love people of all ages and quickly turn on my rumbling purr motor to communicate my ecstasy when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin or ears as I cuddle in her lap.
Read more about Julia
A nice elderly gentleman adopted me from HOPE when I was a year old, and we lived blissfully together as devoted companions for nine years. Unfortunately he passed away, but his personal caregiver scooped me up and brought me to her apartment to join her active household with kids, two dogs, and a rabbit. I thrived there because I’m so easygoing and handle change so easily. However, after four months together, I lost my second home because they had to move to an apartment with a “no pets” policy. Again, I was homeless, but thank heavens HOPE always takes their cats back, and Foster Meowmy graciously stepped up to give me a place for my spirit to shine brightly as I wait patiently for my forever-and-ever home. Meanwhile, I get along with the other resident and foster kitties as I relax on the cat tree and snooze on the sofa.
Now I’m ready to display my excellent companion skills and flexible adaptability as I become the newest member of my third and final home. I’m a brave girl to trust that “the third time is the charm” for me to leave my fragrant legacy of love. All I ask is a peaceful, slow-paced life where warmth and rapport are exchanged between us. Incidentally, the vet gave me a clean bill of health at my check-up, and adopting a kitty like me who’s past the stage of kitten and juvenile mayhem has its advantages because I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

8. Tic Tac
Young (11 months) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 10/25/25
Hey there, everyone! I’m Tic Tac, a petite kitty with a not-at-all-petite personality, the cutest little blep (when my tongue-tip peeks out), and a purr motor WAY too big for my kitten-sized body! I’m basically a tiny mint with a whole lot of fizz and absolutely no idea how to contain my newfound joy.
Read more about Tic Tac
Sometimes I’m so happy to see you that I come charging over to rub and bump all over you, then roll, wiggle, and flip around for pets. Other times, I squirm so much you might wonder if I’m even interested in cuddles! But give me a little patience, and I might just melt into your arms or lap, purring loud enough to make you forget just how petite I am. And if I reach a paw toward your face, you're in for the sweetest little nose bops, complete with my signature blep and the most blissed-out expression you've ever seen.
I’m still learning how to be a proper little lovebug. I like to playfully bat at you with my paws, and sometimes I get carried away with a little nibble. I’m working on my manners, though! I’ve got lots of love and a streak of mischief packed into this petite package. Consider me a work-in-mint-progress!
You see, I had to grow up a little too fast. I was rescued from an apartment complex where cats were being harmed, and while I was still a kitten myself, I became a momma to four little ones, who are about my size now. Thankfully, a kind tenant gave us shelter on an enclosed patio.
Now my babies are growing up, and it’s finally my turn to be the baby! I’m ready to trade surviving for snuggling and motherhood for being pampered. I might need a little patience while I figure out this whole spoiled-house-cat thing, but I’ve already got the blep, the booming purr, and the enthusiastic cuddle attacks you’re sure to love.
So, are you ready for a little mint-sized mayhem who may need a fellow cautious heart? I’ll freshen up your life with my devoted little heart, enthusiastic affection, and plenty of bleppy kisses!

9. Penny
Young (2 years 5 months) · Female · Torbie / Tabby / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 5/1/24
Meow! I’m Penny, a striking torbie girl with a coat that shines like a copper penny. My beautiful, rich coloring and swirling classic-tabby markings are eye-catching, but don’t let my pretty looks distract you from the fact that my purrsonality and value are priceless. They say finding a penny is lucky. But if you happen to find me, I’d say you’re the lucky one.
Read more about Penny
I’m a social butterfly who likes to make my presence known. I’ll meow here and there to let you know I’m ready for some attention, and once I have it, my sass is apparent. I love affection, playtime, and being part of whatever you’re doing. I enjoy being held and cuddled, and I’m also fond of nose kisses and nose licks—until I’ve decided I’ve had enough. Then I’ll keep you on your toes with a playful little love bite, followed by a love lick or two. It’s my way of saying, “Penny for your thoughts?”
And perhaps the most remarkable thing about me is that, despite my past, I still choose to trust people. Sadly I was rescued from an apartment complex where tenants cruelly harmed cats, yet I remained my wonderfully bossy, affectionate, and curious self—and eager to connect with people. Maybe I really am a lucky penny. Somehow, I found my way out and into a better life and possibly with you.
I’m curious and intelligent. I may not have thumbs, but I’ve learned how to open cabinets. Naturally, I have to investigate and see if there’s any buried treasure waiting to be discovered. I hang out with my foster cat siblings and would be perfectly happy being adopted into a home with other cats. But if I’m being honest, I tend to prefer the company of people and my own dreamy thoughts.
By the way, I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which I probably contracted from the deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) FIV+ is very manageable, and I should live a normal life span with proper care.
So if you’re looking for a beautiful, clever, playful companion who will keep you entertained and fill your home with fun and warmth, you don’t need to toss a penny into a fountain and make a wish. You just need to adopt me—because I’m one lucky penny you’ll want to keep.
HOPE 26-0430-A011
Penny’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

10. Nori
Young (1 year 2 months) · Female · Bombay / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 7/23/25
Hey there, everyone! I’m Nori, a sleek, velvety-soft black cat bursting with umami goodness. I’m the purrfect sushi roll: sweet lap cat, gentle nose-kisser, easygoing and intelligent cuddler. I even look like I’m smiling, as if I know a little funny secret. Basically, I’m the good-for-you kind of snack —high in nutrients for the soul, low in calories and chaos, and 100% affection that’s somehow impossible not to crave.
Read more about Nori
I’m a loving little shadow without being overly needy. I’ll rub against your legs, lounge nearby, curl up beside you, or simply keep you company while you go about your day. I’m a lap cat who loves being held and cuddled, and I’ll reward you with the most soothing, low little purr. I’m the kind of companion who adds a little extra flavor to everyday life without ever overwhelming the dish.
Wherever you go, I’m likely to follow—not because I need constant attention, but because I’m curious and believe someone has to keep tabs on things. Close a door without inviting me in? You may see the cutest, most desperate little paw reaching underneath it. Bathroom time? I consider that an invitation to climb onto your lap. Sitting on the couch? Obviously, that’s an invitation for me to flop beside you or curl up against you.
Of course, even the sweetest snack has a salty side. Don’t let my innocent face fool you—I can orchestrate a little chaos. One of my favorite games is tapping a roll of paper towels onto the floor for my foster cat siblings, who lack my “manners” and happily shred it into tiny pieces. Me? I simply supervise from nearby. Someone has to manage the operation.
I’m social, gentle, and laid-back, so it’s no surprise that I get along well with other cats and kids. I’ll happily greet strangers, but my loyal heart is reserved for the people I know and love. And given my background, that trust is especially remarkable. I was rescued from an apartment complex where cats were sadly not treated kindly. The other cats and I endured frightening and harmful treatment. Despite what I experienced, I never lost my trust in people. I remained affectionate, gentle, and trusting.
I’m comfort food in cat form: warm, soothing, and best enjoyed curled up beside you, wrapped in the softest fur, with my quiet, low-base purr humming away. I’m good for the soul—and I’m ready to be savored, cherished, and loved. So if you’re looking for easy sweetness, a little salt, a whole lot of umami, and limitless companionship to add the perfect flavor to your home, I might just be the ingredient you’ve been looking for.

11. Comet
Kitten (6 months) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 4/1/26
Read more about Comet
Hey there, everyone! I’m Comet, a friendly, affectionate, and cuddly “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m red tabby on my top half with soft white bunny fur on my lower half. With the swashes of white spilling around my eyes and nose, I’m a handsome, uniquely marked boy whose face shows off a range of emotions. Although I enjoy snuggling with Foster Meowmy, I also love engaging with her interactively when she waves the turkey flyer wand toy over my head. Man-oh-man – when I see it flying through the air, I’m on the alert and ready for action. And she also endears herself to me by letting me polish off a tube of Churus after I’m all tuckered out from playtime.
My brother Rocket and I were abandoned by our owner at a vet’s office in southwest Houston when we were about five months old. Thank heavens the vet has a good relationship with our foster meowmy, and she agreed to find us a forever home the second time around. Although Rocket and I are best buddies and love hanging out together, we like the same things – the wand toy as well as Churus – so there’s always a little competition in who gets there first.
Now I’m ready to cuddle with my forever family – whenever I’m not flipping around as the turkey flyer sails through the air. Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant that we meet. Although we’re available separately, wouldn’t you love to adopt a handsome pair of red tabby brothers? 13. Penelope
Adult (6 years 10 months) · Female · Maine Coon / Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat)

DOB 12/3/19
Hey there, everyone! I'm Penelope, a beautiful, sweet, fluffy medium-haired girl with bright green eyes, a little mirth in my expression, and just enough sass to make sure you know I’m not just another ordinary beauty. I’m laid-back and independent, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love affection — or that I lack a purrsonality! I don’t necessarily need to be the center of attention. I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing and observing the world around me. But when you’re fabulously fluffy, attention tends to find its way to you anyway.
Read more about Penelope
I have quite a few opinions, and I’m not afraid to share them. I’ll let you know where you stand with me — sometimes vocally, sometimes by flopping over in all my fluffy glory, hoping to sucker you into giving me just a few more pets, please. I don’t mind being picked up and cuddled, either. When I’m in your arms, I’ll put my fluffy mitts on you and hold on for a hug.
I’m named after Penelope from The Odyssey — the woman who waited for Odysseus to come home to Ithaca after being away on his agonizingly long journey. And I understand waiting. I understand journeys. I was rescued near a bus stop — where journeys begin and end. I survived outdoors, despite having once known the comforts of being loved indoors. Now, I’m waiting for the part of my story where I finally get to go home.

14. Cheetoh
Kitten (5 months 6 days) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 5/1/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Cheetoh, a big, brawny red tabby fella whose nickname around my foster home is “Tucker Brown” because I’m such a big boy! I already weigh twice as much as my baby sister Charlee. I’m curious about everything and afraid of nothing. I have one speed -- FAST!
Read more about Cheetoh
I overheard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “Cheetoh is a crazy, hot mess,” but almost in the next breath, she confessed, “I’ve never had an orange kitty before, but Cheetoh is super special.” She likes it that I’m her very best early-morning and bedtime snuggle buddy. Although I’m VERY vocal all the time, I have a sweet little voice that doesn’t match my swagger.
My feral momma birthed my litter of four in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. When my siblings and I were six weeks old and ready to be weaned, Meowmy trapped/ spayed, and released Momma and brought us kittens inside to socialize us for adoption. I fit beautifully into the dynamics of the resident pet household because Meowmy’s cat Dootie as well as her two big, black dogs fell in love with me. (Who wouldn’t?) I tumble and pounce, chase and wrestle with my siblings, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle
Now I’m ready to zoom around my forever home in my active moments and then chat about the day as well as snuggle with my forever family in my quieter moments. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant that we meet! Although we’re available separately, Charlee and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together so that we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

15. Charlee
Kitten (5 months 4 days) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 5/1/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Charlee, a sweet, petite, calm, and quiet “bicolor” gal, which means that the top half of my body is orange tabby and the bottom is plush white like a bunny’s fur. I adore my Foster Meowmy because she lets me snuggle with her at bedtime and she feeds me delicious Churu squeezable treats. Also when I sit on my cat-tree perch, she throws toys at me to catch. The cat tree is strategically situated by a window so that I can watch my personal kitty TV -- the birds flying, the lizards scooting and the squirrels scampering by.

16. Luna
Young (1 year 3 months) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 6/15/25
Hey there, everyone! I’m Luna, a very affectionate, friendly, and beautiful pastel-grey-and-taupe tabby gal with giant olive eyes who begs Foster Meowmy to kiss me, to scratch my cheeks and chin, as well as to gently stroke my back. I’m so calm and loving that she’s more than happy to oblige. I’m no couch potato, though! No siree! I love to play with the plethora of toys that Foster Meowmy provides, and – guess what? – I even like to play with her foster kittens as well as her resident cats and dogs because they’re all friendly!
Read more about Luna
I’ve had a rough start in my young life. When I was barely a year old, my original family was evicted from their apartment and took the dog with them but dumped me outside. Thankfully a Good Samaritan who feeds a colony of community cats there noticed how friendly I was when I showed up at his feeding station. He started petting me and immediately decided that Foster Meowmy was just the person to bring me to the safe haven of her home. Boy howdy! I was delighted to be delivered from the hardscrabble life of a stray!
Foster Meowmy has whispered in my ear that she’ll find a caring family who will cherish me and who will NEVER even consider abandoning me! Now that I’ve been spayed and fully vetted, I’m looking for love in all the RIGHT places. Could it be in your home that I find the love and stability that I deserve? If so, I’m ready to bring my winsome friendliness and calm affection to bless your family. It’d be perfect if you have other cats and dogs -- and maybe even kids -- who will play with me and love me as much as my hooman pawrents do. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

17. Larry
Kitten (11 months) · Male · Tuxedo / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 11/1/25
Read more about Larry
Hey there, everyone! I’m Larry, an extremely affectionate, talkative, and cuddly tuxedo fella who loves to mutually exchange attention with Foster Meowmy. I’m an excellent conversationalist who constantly chats with her about how her day is going – between bites of Temptations or slurps of Delectables. I enjoy sleeping with her as well as playing interactively when she waves the wand toy over my head or wiggles it around the room like a snake. When she’s not around, I entertain myself by roughhousing with my sisters, zooming through the cat tunnel, and batting the crinkle ball around the room with the finesse of a pro soccer striker.
A teenage boy rescued my siblings, Lucy and Star, and me as four-month-old orphans in his neighborhood where a lot of houses are being torn down. Apparently people move out and leave their cats behind, and the kitties congregate nearby at the antique mall where Foster Meowmy has a booth. Our rescuer couldn’t keep us because his brother is allergic to cats, so he persuaded Foster Meowmy to take us home. I fit in beautifully with the resident and foster cats, with whom my siblings and I enjoy playing. However, I will say that I’m a natural leader who likes to dominate the whole group, although I’m an amiable chief of my feline tribe.
Now it’s time for me to transition to my forever home where I can sprinkle love and laughter over my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me! I promise that my outgoing personality will leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Although we’re available separately, Lucy and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. That way we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

18. Tot
Kitten (4 months 28 days) · Female · Tabby / American Shorthair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 5/15/26
Hi, I’m Tot, the most petite of the #fried-spuds-bunch and one seriously sweet little potato! I may be a small tot, but I’m big on flavor, golden cuddly cuteness, and crisp kitten energy that all make life more fun. I love to play, explore, chase toys, and generally keep my little paws busy. You could say I’m a pretty a-peel-ing little package!
I love pets and cuddles, and it doesn’t take much to win me over. Give me a little love, and I’m happy to be right there with you. I may be a busy little spud when there are toys to chase, but when it’s time to relax, I can make a pretty excellent couch potato (literally).
Read more about Tot
I love batting toys around, playing hide-and-seek with my foster family, including two young kids, and joining in the fun with my siblings and the other cats in my foster home. Compared with my siblings, Tater and Crinkle, I’m a little gentler and less pushy, but I’m still very much a kitten with plenty of zoomies, curiosity, and mischief to share. I’m a TOT-ally fun little spud who never wants to miss out on the action!
My story started when my young, pregnant momma was rescued and given a safe, warm place to have her babies. That’s where my siblings, Tater and Crinkle, and I got our start. Growing up with my siblings has been lots of fun, but this little Tot is ready to put down roots with a family of her very own – maybe even with one of her siblings.
If you’re looking for a petite tabby with delicious kitten energy, a gentle nature, and a whole lot of sweetness packed into one adorable package, I might just be your perfect Tot. Come meet me and see if this perfectly seasoned little Tot is the missing ingredient in your family recipe!

19. Cupid
Kitten (2 months 26 days) · Male · Maine Coon / Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat)

DOB 7/26/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Cupid, an affectionate, friendly, adventurous, and cuddly Classic tabby Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix fella. I must admit I’m very handsome with my bold leg stripes against a taupe background as well as dark marble swirls on my sides. When I first see Foster Meowmy, I run to greet her in hopes that she’ll pick me up. I’m in hog heaven when she settles me in her lap so she can shower me with chin scratches and head massages. To communicate my delight at all of her attention, I often turn on my purr motor so loudly that she has to turn up the TV.
Read more about Cupid
I don’t play alone, but I love to engage interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over my head or wiggles the ribbon stick like a snake around the room. It’s a special treat for me when I ride in my very own stroller! Foster Meowmy thinks I’m awesomely smart because I understand when she tells me “no.”
When I was about seven weeks old, I was rescued in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood as a hungry but friendly stray with no momma or siblings in sight. I was much too young to fend for myself in the hardscrabble life, so I was delighted when she brought me to the safe haven of her home. I get along great with the resident cats, who have taught the manners that my momma would’ve if she’d been around. I’m cautious about the resident dogs, however, because I don’t like their loud barking, and so I hide.
Now I’m ready to steal the hearts of my forever family. Could that be you? Don’t dodge my arrow! Arrange to meet me today. Bullseye! One look and you're smitten. One cuddle and your heart is officially mine! I’m a great shot, and I’m aiming straight for your heart! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant we meet! At least until I turn four months old, I need to be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another feline so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

DOB 4/25/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Willow, an affectionate, friendly, and cuddly Bengal mix gal with
strong, dark, bold stripes on my forearms and spots on my belly that are reminiscent of an African wild cat. But let me get it straight right now -- I’m the last thing from a predator – but instead
I like to jump into Foster Meowmy’s arms so I can blanket her face with kisses and whisper sweet, soft mews in her ears. (BTW – I do like to talk!) I’m a sociable lass who is her regular bedfellow and lap cat. The instant she picks me up, I turn on my purr motor, and I’m in kitty heaven when she starts scratching my ears or cheeks.

I can easily explain why I’m so patient, trusting, and loving – my three brothers and I were rescued from Foster Meowmy's when we were just two weeks old. Our momma was nowhere in sight, so I was handled and bottle-fed by hoomans at an extremely early age. Plus I was raised with five dogs and three resident cats, who taught me a lot of the manners that my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
Now I’m ready to blanket my forever family with my abundant love and devotion. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today. My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Kitten (9 months) · Male · Bombay / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 1/5/26
Read more about Jagger
Hey there, everyone! I’m Jagger, a Bombay mix fella who was named after Mick Jagger because, just like him, I can wail, I’ve got plenty of swagger, and I definitely have the Moves Like Jagger! I’m a sleek, handsome rock star with a shiny black coat and a personality that’s impossible to resist. I’m also a total love bug. I rub up against everything—and everyone—I meet, because I believe there’s no such thing as too much attention. My superstar persona comes out in the form of playful little love bites that quickly turn into sweet little licks. It’s just my rock ’n’ roll charm! I love pets, cuddles, and jumping after my favorite toys.
I’m charismatic, curious, energetic, and always ready to explore. There’s so much to see, investigate, and discover, and I certainly don’t want to miss a thing. I may be a bit of a Rolling Stone, but I’m always looking for my next adventure—and hopefully a hooman to share it with. With me around, there will never be a dull moment. And trust me, when it comes to love, entertainment, and personality, you can't get no satisfaction anywhere else!
When I was a hungry stray, I fearlessly charged up to my foster meowmy’s house looking for food and love – reminiscent of Mick Jagger charging onto the stage. I immediately wove through her legs, bopped around, and entertained her with my ploys. Between my playful personality, my adorable antics, and my very enthusiastic “singing,” I instantly earned myself a fan. If you’re looking for a handsome, affectionate, curious, slightly mischievous guy with serious swagger and a whole lot of heart, I think we could make beautiful music together—and maybe a little mischief, too.

DOB 5/14/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Tater, a sweet brown tabby boy who’s just the right amount of kitten energy! I’ve got plenty of zoomies and playfulness to keep life interesting, but I also know when it’s time to curl up and relax. You might say I’m a pretty well-rounded potato — golden-crisp on the outside, sweet and cuddly on the inside! I love being held, I adore getting pets, and I want to be wherever you are. If you’re walking around, I may weave right through your legs like waffle-tater fries. I might even try to climb right up your leg because I just want to be close to you.
Read more about Tater
My story started in a pretty sweet way. My young, pregnant momma needed a warm, protected place to have her babies, so my foster family rescued her and gave her the safe haven she needed. That’s where my sisters, Crinkle and Tot, and I got our start. I love to play with my sisters, a.k.a. the #fried-spuds, and the other cats in the house. Balls are especially exciting — I love batting them all around my foster home like a tiny professional potato athlete! I also enjoy playing hide-and-seek with my foster family. After a hard day of kitten business, my sisters and I like to pile onto the couch for a well-earned nap like a sack of potatoes.
I get along well with other cats and young kids, so I’m ready to bring my sweet, playful personality to a family of my very own. If you’re looking for a cuddly little brown tabby with a whole lot of sweetness and enough kitten energy to keep life fun, I might just be your perfect little Tater tot. 23. Koko
Young (1 year 10 months) · Female · Torbie / Tabby / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 11/22/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Koko, a charming and friendly "patched" brown tabby gal who is named after Koko Krunch, the chocolate cereal featuring an adorable koala mascot. And honestly, the name couldn’t be more perfect for me. I may not come in a cereal box, but I do come with all the good stuff: sweetness, cuddles, and a little bit of playful crunch. I’m basically Koko Krunch with extra purrs and zero calories. And while I may be koala-inspired, loving me doesn’t mean living “down under” or turning your world upside down. With me around, everything is just right.
Read more about Koko
Why the koala connection? Because I love to cling and hug my people like they’re my very own eucalyptus tree. Give me a lap, and I’ll settle right in, put one precious paw on you, and happily cuddle or sleep beside you. I can be your little koala-bear-in-cat-form who also chirps and trills like a songbird. I’m always happy to chat with you about your day.
I’m the kind of cat who makes a home feel like home. I’m sweet, easygoing, affectionate, and wonderfully low-maintenance. Mostly, I just want to be where my people are. I love small hoomans and big hoomans alike, and I’ll cheerfully keep you company as I make "biscuits" while you relax, work, watch TV, or drift off to sleep. I’m also okay about feline roommates, but if I’m being completely honest, people are definitely my favorite species. My heart belongs to hoomans.
And don’t mistake my easygoing personality for being boring! I absolutely love to chase and play with wand toys. I have a playful spark and enjoy having fun with my people. Really, I’m the embodiment of joy — being around me just makes life feel a little happier.
My story makes my sweetness even more remarkable. I was rescued from an apartment complex where some teenage tenants were hostile toward cats. A BB pellet had become lodged in my abdominal cavity, which was discovered when I was spayed. Despite everything I experienced, I came through it all with my love and trust in people completely intact.
So, if you’re looking for a cat who is part koala, part songbird, part baker, and 100% cuddling sweetheart, I would love to meet you. I’ve got Koko-nuts for cuddles, a song in my heart, biscuits in my paws, and an endless supply of love. All I need now is my forever eucalyptus tree — I mean, forever home.

I’m a bona fide lap kitten because I know that’s where my face will get kissed and my ears will get scratched. Tee hee – I’m much more mischievous than my brothers! Hey there, everyone! I’m Cinnamon, an affectionate, cuddly, and laid-back Lynx-point Siamese fella who can dispense the most powerful head-butts that you could ever experience! It’s because I’m such a lover that, when Foster Meowmy’s a bit distracted, I shove my head hard into her head as a ploy to get her to notice me. I luxuriate whenever she scratches my ears, checks, or chin, and if she’s lounging on the sofa to watch TV, I like to crawl up on top of her for a snooze.

You’ll understand my craving for attention after you get my rescue backstory: I happily lived with my owners until they were evicted from their apartment and abandoned me outside when they moved out. Loyal fella that I am, I waited for four months in an outside storage closet for them to come back for me. Thank heavens someone alerted my future Foster Meowmy of my plight, and she immediately came over and scooped me up to take me to the safe haven of her home. She found that I had not dealt well with the hardscrabble life of an outdoor cat – I was malnourished, my ordinarily beautiful coat was a mess, and I was covered in fleas – but that didn’t deter her, saint that she is.
I’ve flourished ever since I’ve been enjoying the indoor life again – I give a hearty “meow” every time I hear her open a can of Friskies wet food for me! I must say that flea meds, brimming food bowls, brushing my fur coat, and soft beds have all contributed a lot to my getting back to my “buff” self again. Let’s just say that, after what I endured for four months, I’m content to relax calmly on the cat tree, snooze peacefully on the very comfy sofa, and let my spirit shine brightly as I wait patiently for the permanent home Foster Meowmy has promised to find me.
I’m living proof that when compassion takes the lead, lost souls like me get a well-earned second chance to leave a legacy of love. Now I’m ready to bat my sapphire-blue eyes as well as blanket my love and affection on my forever family. Could that be you? All I ask is a peaceful, slow-paced life where warmth and companionship are exchanged between us. Are you ready to experience one of my strong head-butts? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that I’m as “super-chill” as they come!

Hey there, everyone! I’m Suzy Q, a sweet, calm, and affectionate gray-and-white tuxedo gal who, just like the legendary Hostess snack cake, is soft to touch on the outside and whose heart on the inside fills you with smiles. Foster Meowmy found me nursing my kittens, Ding Dong and Twinkie, inside an abandoned car in a field. Talk about good luck!!! Good Samaritan that she to the core, she brought us all to the safe haven of her home. Because of the danger of predators, I was particularly appreciative that I didn’t have to leave my babies to hunt for food anymore!

Hey there, everyone! I’m Ding Dong, a sweet, curious, and super-playful tuxedo fella who, just like the legendary Hostess snack cake, is glazed with sweetness on the outside and whose soft heart on the inside fills you with smiles. Foster Meowmy found my momma Suzy Q nursing me and my brother Twinkie, inside an abandoned car in a field. Talk about good luck!!! Once securely living indoors, Twinkie and I spend our time tumbling and pouncing, wrestling and chasing, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We keep Foster Meowmy entertained by our energetic soccer-playing with puff balls as well as basketball-alley-oops when we swat the wand toy.
Now I’m ready to display my rowdy kitten playfulness as well as to bring joy and laughter to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant that we meet. 31. Milo
Young (1 year 5 months) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 4/5/25
Hey there, everyone! I’m Milo, a big, happy, affectionate brown tabby fella who loves pets, scritches, and cuddles from my Foster Meowmy. My ears perk up when I hear my name, and I usually come running when she calls me because I know that lavishing attention on me is in store. I’m a garrulous boy who likes chatting with her about how her day is going. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I’m a master at playing fetch with a pom-pom ball.

When I was about six weeks old and with no momma or siblings in sight, a Good Samaritan found me and brought me to HOPE. Boy howdy! I was relieved that I kissed the hardscrabble life goodbye because I was much too small to be fending for myself. Thank heavens that Foster Meowmy agreed to take me in because I fit in seamlessly with her four resident kittens who were about my age. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other. True confessions – I can be a bit over-zealous in my rough-and-tumbling with them because I don’t realize that I’m coming on too strong. So Foster Meowmy makes sure that we have thoroughly exhausting interactive sessions with the feathered wand toy so that I’m never bored!

33. Venus
Adult (1 year 4 months) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 5/11/19
Hey there, everyone! I’m Venus, an affectionate, friendly, and calm brown tabby gal with big green eyes and an adorable milky-white moustache and beard. My favorite part of the day is when Foster Meowmy and I spend quality time together on the sofa. You can call me Goldilocks because I like her to give me just the right amount of head massages and neck scratches – not “too few,” or I’ll tap her with my paw to demand more, and not “too many,” or I’ll give her a gentle “love bite” (actually from being ecstatically happy), but “just right” (sigh).
Read more about Venus
I’m a chatty girl, and she seems to like it and be flattered that I greet her with a cheerful “meow.” And interactive playtime with her is a blast – whether I’m trying to stab the feather wand toy as she waves it over my head or chasing it as she wiggles it around the room like a snake. I guess I sometimes look a little foolish, but I can really throw my heart into this wand-toy business.
I was loved and cherished by my adopter, and vice versa, but unfortunately six years later, I’m looking for a new home through no fault of my own. I’ll let you in on a secret – adopting me would have its advantages as I won’t cause chaos in your home with “kitten frenzy” and I won’t break your treasured accessories. I may be a plain-clothes brown tabby on the outside, but underneath I have a heart of gold. What else do you expect from the goddess of love? Arrange to meet me today!

34. Buddy & Pina
Adult (4 years 4 months) · Male · Maine Coon / Tortoiseshell / Mixed (long coat)

DOB 4/20/22 (Buddy); DOB 2/29/25 (Pina)
Hey there, everyone! We’re Buddy and Pina, a pair of bonded soulmates whose romance began at Foster Meowmy’s next-door neighbor’s community-cat feeding station. About three months after we met, we wandered together over to Foster Meowmy’s back yard in East Houston, and she was kind enough to bring us both inside when the February arctic freeze hit.
Read more about Buddy & Pina
Buddy says, “I’m a big, gentle, calm, and affectionate brown tabby Maine Coon fella who luxuriates when Foster Meowmy scratches my ears, rubs my belly, and brushes the long locks on my wispy mane, body, and flowing tail. I’m rather a lethargic couch potato, and sleeping peacefully on Foster Meowmy’s chest is one of my favorite pastimes.”
Pina says, “I’m a cuddly and sweet but spicy and energetic tortoiseshell gal who flaunts my proverbial “tortitude” with flair and offers my opinions with confident panache. I know that I’d disappoint you if I didn’t live up to the tortie’s reputation of sassiness when being affectionate with my hoomans -- on my terms, of course.”
Although we’re both pretty asymptomatic, we both are classified as having special needs. Buddy says, “I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which I probably contracted from the deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive doesn’t stop me from living my best life as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections.”
Pina says, “Just before the February arctic freeze, Foster Meowmy found me collapsed and unresponsive in her backyard. She rushed me to the vet, who diagnosed and successfully treated me for a respiratory infection, and I still occasionally suffer from asthma as a leftover result of that nasty infection. To this day, I gratefully owe my life to Foster Meowmy.”
Although we both have stolen Foster Meowmy’s heart, we think it’s time for us to let her resident cats bask in her unshared attention and to find a forever family of very own. Perhaps you’re looking for a gentle giant and kind, old soul who peacefully reigns over your hearts (that’s me, Buddy) as well as a fiercely loyal companion, ready to be the center of your attention (that’s me, Pina). Could that be you? Arrange to meet us today! Since Foster Meowmy realizes that we’ll be most contented if we remain together, she is insisting that we be adopted as a bonded pair. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation – and that arrangement probably works out best for you anyway!

I was a friendly one-year-old stray, barely more than a kitten, with no momma or siblings in sight, when I first wandered up to Foster Meowmy’s next-door neighbor’s community-cat feeding station. Over the next few months, I became friends with Buddy, a big, gentle-giant Maine Coon, who also showed up at chow time, and after about three months, we wandered together over to Foster Meowmy’s backyard.
This was when my health took a perilous turn when, just before the February arctic freeze hit, she found me collapsed and unresponsive in her backyard. She rushed me to the vet, who diagnosed and successfully treated me for a respiratory infection, and I still occasionally suffer from asthma as a leftover result of that nasty infection. To this day, I gratefully owe my life to Foster Meowmy, who was kind enough to bring both Buddy and me to live permanently inside. I had no problem with this because I’m very food-motivated, and I’m a champ at stealing Foster Meowmy’s snacks!

37. Ace
Kitten (5 months 22 days) · Male · Tabby / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 3/16/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Ace, a friendly, affectionate, and cuddly “bicolor” fella which means that the top half of me is gray tabby, and the bottom half is white. When I’m enjoying head massages from Foster Meowmy, I turn my purr motor on “high” so that she has to turn the TV up to hear. I’m a chatty boy who’s not shy about alerting her when it’s chow time or treat time. In fact, you might say I’m a bit of a “busybody,” although I like to think of myself as Meowmy’s helper, because I like to inspect the litter boxes after she’s scooped them just to insure that they were cleaned up to my standards.

I was rescued from a school playground as an orphaned 5-week-old kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. Boy howdy! I was relieved when Foster Meowmy brought me into the safe haven of her home where I was delighted to find other kitties of all ages. The younger ones have been my surrogate siblings, and we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle until we’re exhausted. The older ones have been my surrogate aunts and uncles who have taught me all the manners Momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
Now I’m ready to become the cuddly, chatty, and purring Mommy’s helper who graces my forever home. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your hear! Young (2 years 5 months) · Female · Snowshoe / Siamese / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 5/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Bonnie, a stunningly beautiful, affectionate, and playful seal-point Snowshoe/ Siamese mix gal who loves it when my hooman Daddy massages my head and rubs my belly when I snuggle in his lap. We have so much fun together when he teases me with feathered wand toys and bouncing balls on a string. True confessions: I can get a little spicy when he overstimulates me during these interactive playtimes! He always caps off our gametime with yummy Churu treats, and then I’m perfectly happy to stretch out and bask in a sunbeam for an afternoon nap.

Unfortunately, I need a new home because the other cats in my home are mean and grumpy with me. I’m relegated to living in Daddy’s office, but I heard my hooman Meowmy tell someone, “Bonnie is a wonderful cat who deserves better than to live in just one room.” I’m ready to be the enthusiastic playmate and cuddly lap cat for my forever family. Could that be you? My ideal home should be quiet because I get spooked at loud noises, and my ideal adopter should be experienced with handling cats who can be somewhat feisty when overaroused. Kitten (4 months 8 days) · Female · Tuxedo / American Shorthair / Mixed (short coat)

DOB 4/19/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Weyland (as in Massachusetts), a friendly, affectionate, and easygoing tuxedo gal who absolutely loves being petted and cuddled. Once I see that Foster Meowmy is sitting on the sofa to watch TV, I happily make my way over to her, jump up, settle in her lap or beside her, and calmly ask for some love. I luxuriate when she gives me a gentle head massage or strokes me from head to tail, and I reward her with contented purrs. I absolutely love being around people and enjoy being part of whatever is happening.

My #magnificent-seven litter was born in foster care after Foster Meowmy rescued my momma as a stray in her apartment complex. I’m a playful girl who loves to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my six siblings, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. When I need a “time out” from their frenetic kitten energy, I contentedly relax on the cat tree either to observe everything going on around me or to curl up for a peaceful nap.
Now I’m ready to be the calm, gentle Queen of Laps for a forever family who will include me in their everyday life and give me plenty of love and attention. Could that be you? Imagine coming home after a long day, sitting down on the sofa, and having your little tuxedo girl patter over, climb onto your lap, and happily purr while you give her all the attention she loves!
