19. Ford
Meet Ford, the ultimate Snuggle Champion!
Ford is a young, handsome male cat with a heart as big as his purr. This sweet love bug lives for affection—he’s the kind of kitty who’ll melt into your lap, nuzzle into your neck, and follow you from room to room just to be near his favorite person. Whether it’s lazy morning cuddles on the couch or bedtime snuggles under the covers, Ford is happiest when he’s wrapped up in love (and probably a cozy blanket).
Read more about Ford
He’s playful and gentle, with that wonderful young-cat energy that makes every day a little brighter. Ford is the perfect companion for someone who wants a devoted shadow and best friend rolled into one adorable package.
A note about Ford’s health:
Ford has FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). With proper care, a loving home, excellent nutrition, and regular veterinary check-ups, many FeLV+ kitties like Ford live happy, full lives for years. He’ll need to be an indoor-only cat and would do best as an only cat or with other FeLV+ companions. He’s ready to thrive with a dedicated human who understands his special needs and wants to give him the forever home he deserves.
If you’re looking for a deeply affectionate, low-drama snuggle buddy who will adore you completely, Ford is hoping you’ll choose him. He’s ready to trade endless head boops and rumbling purrs for a spot in your heart and home.
Come meet this sweet boy—Ford is waiting to be your forever love bug!

How to adopt from Marshmallow Foundation
Marshmallow Animal Shelter wants to make certain that every animal adopted goes to a loving home where it will be well cared. Because of this, our application asks a number of detailed questions, which are necessary for our screening process. Our application will ask you to what lengths you are willing to go, in order to accommodate the animal's needs and training. You must be able to show commitment of time, finances, energy and compassion to the animal. Once your application is approved, we require that you sign a contract guaranteeing non-transferal/sale of animal, its proper care, and spay/neuter surgery if not already done.
