She’s a timid girl who is still building her confidence, but she’s making wonderful progress since her rescue.
Matilda was rescued from the heartbreaking situation in Erin, Tennessee, where cats were being shot with blow darts. We can only imagine the fear she experienced, but she’s learning that people can be kind and loving. Beneath her shyness is a beautiful personality just waiting to shine!
Matilda is incredibly gentle and calm.

She enjoys being held, cuddled, and snuggling in your lap. Her purrs are getting louder as she grows more comfortable, and kitten treats are a wonderful way to bring her out of her shell! She wants to play, too, even if she sometimes lets her two brothers steal the spotlight. Having her brother Orange Slice nearby helps her feel braver and more outgoing.
