I&#39m a total sweetheart, but I do like affection on my own terms. I may not immediately climb into your lap on day one, but give me a little time and I can absolutely ease into becoming a lap girl. I&#39ve been known to happily snuggle against your chest, hang out over your shoulder, and soak up all the love. I also enjoy scratching posts, Icelandic sprat treats, and I&#39m just beginning to discover how fun toys can be; kick sticks seem pretty interesting!
Please note: my tummy needs a little extra care, so I&#39m on a special diet to keep me feeling my best. I&#39m a gentle soul, so I am extremely shy with new people and animals. I was born outside to a feral mama who taught me that caution means survival. It has taken a lot of time and plenty of tender care for me to decide that some humans are worth trusting. I am still very selective about my people, and will likely pick out a favorite person to rely on. Please don&#39t take it personally if I treat others in the family as the &#34spare humans&#34. I am fully litterbox trained, and do excellent with both flat pads and vertical scratching posts. It took me so long to come around to human touch, that I am still learning how to accept brushing and nail trimming. I have started practicing though, and just need a family that will patiently continue the process. I recently discovered that kitchen tables are an exciting place to hang out, but I am a very good boy that responds to gentle, verbal reminders. I am neutered, FELV tested and up to date on my vaccines, including rabies. Though I was born outside I did not have enough time or training with mom to develop outdoor skills, so I must be an indoor only cat. She overcame neuro-ocular FIP with the help
of treatment options recently made available to cats in the United
States. She gets along with calm, gentle dogs and is good friends with
the male cat in her foster home. However, she does not get along with
the resident female cat. She loves to be up high and does best when she
can have specific areas designated as her own special spots. Lady Himi has a sensitive stomach and has done very well on Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein or similar hypoallergenic food. Lady Himi is looking for someone who will understand her soft and steady love. She loves quietly and deliberately,
saving her deepest devotion for the person who makes her feel safe.

I get along great with other cats and would love a feline buddy in my forever home! One of my favorite hobbies is playing &#34soccer&#34 with balls. I also love wet food, Churu treats, and pretty much any snack you&#39re willing to share with a growing boy like me. I&#39ve been through a lot for such a young kitten. After coming to Wild Blue Cats from Roswell, NM, I was diagnosed with FIP, but the good news is I was successfully treated and am now doing well! Unfortunately, the FIP left me with some nerve damage, and I no longer have full control over my bowels. I do try to use the litter box, but my timing isn&#39t always right, so I wear diapers to help keep me comfortable and my home clean. I handle diaper changes pretty well overall, though sometimes I like to voice my opinions about them. A guy&#39s gotta have standards, after all!
I&#39m not much of a daredevil when it comes to jumping onto high counters, but I do love sunny windows, cat trees, climbing, and exploring. Because I enjoy climbing, I may occasionally use your furniture as part of my adventure course, so sturdy scratching posts and easy ways to access my favorite spots will help keep me happy.
