She’s tiny and cute and sweet.

3. Sprite

Kitten (3 months 28 days) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 18 mi from Milford

Sprite is a fun-loving girl! She also has a little arm tattoo going on.

She is the first one to explore and is very confident. She plays a little rough with her siblings(Fanta, Pepsi, and Coke), but absolutely loves them, plus all the other foster kittens and resident cats. Her favorite to play with is Trent, another super playful foster kitten with the same energy.

Sprite has a lot of energy but is not destructive. She usually will run after another kitten to get her energy out.

The minute you pick her up...it's all purrs and snuggles! She enjoys napping on your lap and walks her foster mom to bed every night.

Sprite would be okay by herself, with another playful kitty, or (with proper introduction) a dog, even though she has never met one.

4. Bear Bear

Kitten (6 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 18 mi from Milford

No, my foster mommy didn’t make a typo...my name is “Bear Bear”, not Bear! I am a sleek panther with my stunning black fur. I’m shy in the beginning until curiosity sets in.

I was found in Naugatuck with no mommy. Opal, Harvey’s mommy, took me under her wings and I thrived. It was difficult growing up with Harvey. He is bossy. Please don’t tell him.

I love playing with Harvey and my mommy. I can outrun and out-climb them. Playing king of the kitty tower is my favorite game. I am king of the jungle and no one gets the top but me. I love sleeping on the big bed. I will even allow you to sleep on the big bed.

5. Seriphina

Kitten (2 months 30 days) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 18 mi from Milford

Say hello to Seriphina! Rescued in Torrington, we think she was born about mid-May. She loves to play with humans and the other kittens in her foster home. She might not turn out to be a 24/7 lap cat, but she loves to be pet, picked up and to hang out with you on the couch. She can live with dogs, other cats and children. It would be best if Seriphina could be adopted by an experienced cat owner who can help give her confidence in her new home.

Seriphina was born around May 15, 2026, and is currently being fostered in Bristol. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

7. Chicken

Adult (2 years 7 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 18 mi from Milford

Meet Chicken! After raising her two adorable sons, Ham and Turkey, this wonderful mama is finally ready for a little something she's never really had before: a home that's all her own. She has been an incredibly patient, loving mother to her boys, and now that these two little goblins have found their forever home together, it's Chicken's turn to be spoiled.

Read more about Chicken

Chicken is about two years old and absolutely beautiful. She has striking green eyes, the cutest little orange-pink nose, and a soft tabby coat with subtle Bengal-like markings that shimmer in the sunlight. She also has the sweetest slightly wonky eyes that always seem to be looking in two different directions, somehow making her even more charming. Don't let them fool you though, she never misses a bird outside her favorite window.

Chicken has one of the gentlest souls you'll ever meet. She loves quiet company, soft conversations, and cozy afternoons spent stretched out in a sunny window watching the birds. She has the cutest little chirping trill that somehow sounds like a tiny song, and she has a habit of chatting with her people throughout the day. If she falls asleep nearby, don't be surprised to catch her with her tiny little tongue poking out... she does this a lot and it is adorable.

While she enjoys other cats and is perfectly happy around gentle dogs, Chicken doesn't need a busy household to be happy. She would thrive in a calm, relaxing home where she can soak up the sunshine, watch the birds from her favorite perch, and finally enjoy being someone's baby instead of raising everyone else's.

Chicken has excellent litter box manners and loves people.

Chicken was born on February 1, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Farmington. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

8. Marco

Adult (1 year 5 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 18 mi from Milford

Introducing the one and only Marco! Marco is a 1.5 year old, fully-vetted, handsome little boy with A LOT to say and a lot to do. He is a very affectionate talkative little boy who wants to supervise and critique your every move. Marco came to our rescue when his owner moved and left him behind. He is a wonderful cat that gets along well with other cats, and tolerates what he considers creatures of lesser value...namely dogs. He would be great with both kids and adults and loves a good head rub. If you are interested in getting to know him better and opening up your heart and home to this little fellow, please apply on our website. Marco thanks you.

Bringing a cat home to your dog

Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.

Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.

Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
