My grooming requirements aren’t too heavy. This is because my fur is soft, so gentle brushing a few times a week should suffice to keep my coat knot and mat free. And, I love my treats – when I hear you shake the bag, I’ll come running, will eat them all, and will then ask for more – and that’s how you can earn my trust!! I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $350.00.

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I don’t currently live with another kitty, but I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a furry friend, we will likely live well together! / Dogs unknown / I love the kids in my foster home (ages 6 & 13). Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitty. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and—of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I’m a very sweet girl who enjoys having my own space and doing my own thing! I’ll come over for a minute or two of pets and affection, then I’m off to enjoy my independence. • LIKES/DISLIKES: One of my favorite pastimes is sitting by the window and watching the world go by. When I’m ready to play, look out! I love chasing feathers on a string, batting marbles around, and even attacking those mysterious feet moving under the blankets. I also prefer drinking my water from glass because a girl knows what she likes! / I can't think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not like it if I didn't get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I may have been a little nervous at the shelter, but once I got into a wonderful foster home and had a chance to settle in, I quickly showed my loving personality! I’d really like to be a lap cat, but I’m a big boy and my foster’s lap is a little on the small side. No worries, though! I’m just as happy snuggling right up against your side and enjoying some cozy time together. All I really want is to be loved, and I have plenty of love to give in return! Affectionate and loving, I welcome attention from my people and will give purrs of appreciation.

She adapted to home life immediately, used the litter box perfectly, rediscovered the joy of toys, and settled right into the comforts of soft beds, regular meals, and human attention. She has an impressive purr motor and seems endlessly happy to finally be safe. And yes, that adorable little bobtail is completely natural.

What truly makes Ms. Bagel special is how incredibly people-oriented she is. She absolutely adores attention and has never met a stranger. Every new person is greeted like an old friend, and she wastes no time trotting over to ask for pets, affection, and admiration. She thrives on human companionship and simply wants to be wherever the love is.

She's very food motivated, but she's wonderfully polite and has never tried to raid food or counters. She gets along well with other cats, especially her kittens, and she'd be happy to be adopted with one of them if you're looking for a pair. That said, she would also make an exceptional solo cat, as her greatest joy comes from bonding with her people and soaking up all the love and attention she can get.

Ms. Bagel is the proud mom of The Breakfast Club—Egg, Cheese, Toast, Donut, and Oatmeal. Ms Bagel adores he babies, and is especially close with Toast, her gentle little daughter. The two share a beautiful bond, and Toast clearly looks to her mama for companionship and confidence. We would absolutely love to see Ms. Bagel and Toast adopted together. While she adores her kittens, she's also perfectly ready to start the next chapter of her life as the center of someone's world.

Miso is FeLV positive, but FeLV does not define him. It cannot spread to humans or dogs. Miso can be an only cat or live with another FeLV+ kitty. He loves people, is interested in other cats, and is also very fond of respectful dogs.

His other great love? Churu. Miso will happily pose for pictures as long as the treats keep coming.

We can't promise how many years Miso will have. Nobody can. But we can promise that the life he has is worth living and worth loving.

Miya’s favorite person in the world is her sister, Mira. They play, nap, explore, and snuggle together, and they bring out the best in each other. Their bond is incredibly special, so Miya and Mira must be adopted together.

At about 7 months old, Miya is still very much a kitten: curious, playful, silly, and happiest when she has her sister beside her and something fun to chase.

After a difficult start, Buttercup is healthy, happy, and finally getting to enjoy being young. All she wants is a cozy lap, some toys, a feline friend, and someone to belly-flop for every day.

Betty’s story could have ended very differently. She was found living in a dangerous apartment complex among a group of feral cats, where food was scarce and the cats were constantly at risk from passing cars. A kind woman who feeds the feral cats spotted Betty and immediately realized something was different and she was in danger. Betty was friendly! Betty ran toward her as if she were saying, “Please save me!”

Thankfully, she did.

Although Betty survived alongside the outdoor cats, ATE at the same bowls, she doesn’t seem comfortable sharing her indoor space with other cats at the rescue. She may simply be frightened after everything she’s experienced, but we believe Betty would be happiest as the only cat in her new home, where she can soak up all the attention for herself.

Meet Callie, a stunning 8-month-old long-haired calico with a soft coat, soulful eyes, and a gentle spirit. Callie has already done one of the most important jobs a cat can do: she lovingly raised her kittens, and now that all of her babies have found homes, it's finally Callie's turn to be someone's baby.

Callie has had a hard time, born outside, had kittens of her own! SOMEHOW someone dumped her and her three kittens at the CHECKERS fast food restaurant!! She was terrified, finally caught by kind people, had the kittens, was vetted and now she us she is coming around fast. She was sick with an injured eye and URI, but she is all well now. She is shy when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you. That last only a moment. Underneath that initial uncertainty is a sweet, affectionate young cat who clearly enjoys being around people, getting petted, and wants to trust. With a little patience, love, and attention, she will blossom into an amazing companion. EASY to keep!

I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $300.00.

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I was pretty spicy when I first arrived at the shelter. Understandably, my world had turned upside down. I have been decompressing in a foster home for a couple of months, and my personality has really started to shine through. I'm a very playful and curious girl, and I take my job as your official greeter very seriously—I'll be waiting right by the door when you come home! If I feel like I haven't had enough playtime or attention, I'll definitely let you know with a few little cries! I'm a bit demure and shy, and when I first moved into my new home, I was pretty scared for the first week and a half. But once I realized I was safe, I blossomed into a very friendly girl. Now I happily chirp at my people and guests, come over for pets and maybe some playtime, and then retreat to my cat tower when I'm ready for some alone time. I'm independent, low-maintenance, and very easygoing once I'm comfortable and have a routine. I'm not destructive, and I've never damaged anyone's belongings—although I do occasionally like to scratch at the carpet. As long as you're patient and respectful of my space, I'll be a wonderful companion and a very easy cat to love. Oh, and I promise to keep you entertained with my playful antics and bug-hunting adventures!

I love being up high at the very top of my cat tower where I can survey my kingdom and watch everything happening outside the window. I'm also quite the little hunter, and if I catch a bug, I may proudly bring you the evidence as a special gift. I enjoy my wet food mixed with 1/4 tsp of MiraLAX and enough water to make a porridge. / Loud noises can still startle me. I'll usually hide for a little bit and then come right back out. Otherwise, I can't think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!
