1. Wednesday Adams
Adult (11 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Hi, I'm Wednesday Adams. I'm a pretty black cat with eyes that almost cross. When I was a tiny kitten and all alone, some people rescued me out of a storm drain. I wasn't sure about them, but it turns out they were really nice, and they'd give me great kitty treats, catnip, and Churu yummies. So even though I'm still shy and would prefer a quiet home, I did discover that the right person has a lap that I love to sit on, and I love head and neck scratches (just don't touch my back, please).

3. Mary Berry
Adult (5 years 11 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Hi, I'm Mary Berry. I was named after that sweet lady who has the baking show. I'm pretty sweet too. I have beautiful eyes and look like I'm wearing eyeliner.
I had a great home but my owner passed away, and the family couldn't keep me due to allergies. Now I'm looking for another sweet home for a purrfect girl like me.
My tummy is a little sensitive so I eat special kitty food to keep me feeling my best. It's not a big deal and I'm very healthy otherwise. Let's see what we can cook up together!

5. Tahoe
Adult (2 years 5 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (medium coat)

Hi I'm Tahoe.
I am a gray and white male tabby about 2 years old.
I am a sweet guy looking for a warm, furever home. Don't let my name fool you, I like the warm, indoor life. It gets cold outside when you are a stray kitty. I don't know if I had a home and family once, but I know that life is much better living indoors with people who adore and worship you.
I am a purrfect gentleman looking for my furever family. Do you have room for a great guy like me? I know once you meet me, you will fall in love and we will live happily furever. Hurry, I'm waiting.

Adopting a cat in Morgan County
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
