Mariska is a little purr machine, the kind of cat who settles in for the night and doesn't want to leave your side. She sleeps curled up with her people every night, purring the whole time. She still carries a lot of playful, kitten-like energy, even as she's grown, and she gets along well with other cats.

Barbara has a heart-shaped marking right on her nose, which feels about right for a cat this affectionate. She loves sunny naps, is a big fan of toys, and is still figuring out some of the finer points of being a cat, adventures included.
Barbara arrived after being dumped outside The Wildcat Sanctuary in the middle of the night, one of over a dozen cats left there with nowhere to go. She was pregnant at the time, and days later went into labor on the way to the vet. She gave birth to four kittens right as her foster family walked through the clinic doors.
Barbara does best on a consistent diet, as her stomach can be a bit particular.

Freda takes a little time to warm up to new people and new situations. She's not one to rush into things, and that's okay. Good things are worth the wait.
Once she settles in, though, watch out. She'll be the first one on your lap, looking for attention, and she'll reward you with a steady purr that doesn't quit. She's a total purr machine once she's comfortable.
Freda gets along well with other cats, so she could be a nice addition to a home with feline friends already in the mix.

I'm a very sweet girl who can be shy when I meet new people. New places and new faces are a little scary for me, so I'll need a patient family willing to give me the time I need to feel safe. It took me about five weeks to truly come out of my shell in my foster home, but once I did, my personality began to shine.
Now you'll find me happily sleeping on the bed at night, coming out to ask for pets, and soaking up all the love and attention I can get. When I trust you, I absolutely adore being loved on and will happily be your quiet little companion.
