Don’t let the name fool you—Sleepy is anything but! This adventurous little kitten is always on the move, always looking for his next exciting discovery, and always ready to make you laugh.
Sleepy is full of personality and isn’t afraid to share his opinions. Whether he’s chatting with you about his day or loudly requesting to be picked up for his next adventure, this little guy always has something to say. He’s incredibly people-oriented and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. In fact, if he thinks you’re taking too long to pay attention to him, he’ll happily let you know until you scoop him up and include him in the fun.
Read more about Sleepy
Curious by nature, Sleepy loves to explore. One of his favorite hobbies is figuring out how to escape his kitten enclosure, proudly setting off on tiny adventures before staying close to the people he loves. He’s fast, clever, and always ready to investigate something new.
When he’s not exploring, Sleepy loves to play. Toys, games, and wrestling with his siblings are some of his favorite ways to spend the day. He’s also a big fan of wet food and never turns down a delicious meal.
Although he isn’t usually one to sit still for long, Sleepy does enjoy being held and absolutely adores human attention. He’s happiest in a home where his people have time to interact with him, play with him, and let him be part of the action.
Sleepy thrives with feline companionship and
must
have another cat in his forever home. He would especially love to be adopted with his brother, Happy—the two make an adorable pair and complement each other wonderfully. If not adopted with one of his siblings, he’ll need a confident, friendly cat who can show him the ropes and happily keep up with his playful spirit.

5. Happy
Kitten (4 months 4 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 17 mi from Victoria

Some kittens are independent. Happy? He’d much rather spend every moment with someone he loves.
His foster family jokes that Happy’s heart is so full of love, there just isn’t much room left in his brain for thoughts—and honestly, it fits him perfectly. Happy is an easygoing, affectionate little guy whose greatest joy in life is being close to his favorite people and feline friends.
Read more about Happy
True to his name, Happy is exactly that—a cheerful, playful kitten who greets every day with enthusiasm. He absolutely loves human attention and isn’t shy about asking for it! If he thinks you’ve forgotten to admire him, he’ll happily let you know with his adorable little meows until you come give him the love he knows he deserves. When he’s all tuckered out, he’s perfectly content to snuggle up in your arms and drift off to sleep for a cozy nap.
Like any kitten, Happy loves to play. Small toys are his favorite, especially ones he can proudly carry around the house to show off—or tease his siblings with. Whether he’s chasing toys, wrestling with his brothers and sisters, or exploring something new, Happy brings a joyful spirit wherever he goes.
Happy is very much a follower rather than a leader. He looks to the other cats in his home for confidence and reassurance, happily taking their lead as he learns about the world. Because of this, he needs a feline companion and would do best being adopted with one of his siblings—especially his brother, Sleepy, who makes the perfect partner for him. If that’s not possible, he’ll need another friendly, patient cat who won’t mind having an adoring little shadow following them everywhere.
Happy is the kind of kitten who fills a home with laughter, cuddles, and constant companionship. If you’re looking for an affectionate little sidekick who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, Happy is ready to make your family complete.
Please note that this is a strictly indoor cat. This kitten may may require a home with another kitten as kittens are
family oriented and do best when adopted in littermate pairs.

6. Massey Ferguson
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 19 mi from Victoria

Miss Allis was surrendered from a local farm with her babies.
Meet Massey Ferguson (aka "Fergie" - Momma)
My name is Massey Ferguson, but my friends call me Fergie! I’m a bit older than the rest of the crew, which just means I'm a lady who is set in her ways. I spent my earlier days as a tough barn cat, and while I am incredibly happy to be safe and warm in a house, I still prefer it if humans leave me to my own devices. I am a gentle soul and have never shown a single ounce of aggression—I just get a little nervous and prefer to hide when people come too close. I find an immense amount of comfort and confidence when I'm with my fellow tractor momma, Allis, and I would love a quiet home where I can just coexist and learn to trust on my own timeline.

Personality: Independent, quiet, and very set in her ways.
Social style: Prefers her space from humans but is completely devoted to her feline friends.

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 19 mi from Victoria

Miss Allis was surrendered from a local farm with her babies. Meet Allis Chalmers My name is Allis Chalmers, aka: Allis! At first glance, I look like a sleek black cat, but if you catch me in the right light, you’ll see my secret: striking brown undertones filled with hidden stripes and spots! I’m a former barn cat who is still a bit unsure about humans, but if you give me a chance and pet me just a little, I completely melt. I’ll roll right over onto my back and let you scratch my neck all day! I'm also very playful, quite chatty, and have a lot of love to give. My ultimate dream is to find a forever home where I can stay together with my fellow tractor momma and best friend, Massey Ferguson!
Look: Sleek black coat with beautiful "secret" brown stripes and spots visible in the light.

Meet Bucket
My name is Bucket! I am a beautiful white kitty with striking tabby markings, and yes—I was born with this perfect, built-in "cat eye" eyeliner! I'm a bit of a deep thinker. When I first left the barn, I took my time sizing things up, but I’ve officially decided that humans can be trusted (well, most of the time!). I really enjoy being close to my people and getting love, but I also appreciate a girl who knows how to enjoy her own personal space.

Sprocket and sibliigs were surrendered from farm in MN.
⚙️ Meet Sprocket
My name is Sprocket! I listened very carefully to my mom's barn stories about humans, and to be honest, I’m still not entirely convinced she was wrong. I like to keep my distance and play it safe by watching my littermates whenever my foster mom is around. They all seem to absolutely love her! They climb all over her and I hear them purring away, so they must know something I don't. I might be ready to open up and join the machinery soon, but for now, I'm just taking my time.
Personality: Observant, cautious, and a little independent.

12. Diesel
Kitten (3 months 26 days) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 19 mi from Victoria

Diesel and sibliigs were surrendered from farm in MN. Meet Diesel
My name is Diesel! When I first traded my barn life for a foster home, I tried really hard to be brave and prove I was the engine running this operation. I did lots of hissing and tucked my ears back tight! Since then, I have learned that being a house cat is way better than being a barn cat. I get food all the time! I have lots of fun playing with my 7 tractor-part littermates, and I purr all the time! I can't wait to meet my forever family, and I would absolutely love it if one of my siblings joined me!First impressions: Tried acting like a tough boss with big hisses and tucked-back ears.
Current status: Realized house life is amazing and turned into a total purr machine.
Favorite things: Constant food, epic playtime, and heavy purring.
Dream home: A loving family, ideally with one of his 7 littermates to keep the party going.

Meet Tank
My name is Tank! I’m a big, handsome boy with a soft white coat and sharp grey tabby markings. To be honest, I'm a bit on the shy side. 15. Oliver
Adult (3 years 5 months) · Male · Domestic Long Hair / Mixed (medium coat) · 19 mi from Victoria

Oliver is a very sweet kitty, that is about 3 years old and weighs about 10 lbs. He was taken in during the cold winter, when he was trapped in a porch he came into to for feeding. Originally vetted as a TNR cat, those plans changed when there was an instinct that he could become a pet cat.
Oliver was very patient over the winter and he slowly grew to trust and crave attention, petting, and interaction.
Oliver has become a super lovey dovey, affectionate cat that craves attention and just loves to be looked after.
Read more about Oliver
Oliver seems fine with dogs and will even try to rub on them if they are friendly and not too dominant. If they are dominant he may bat them away from him to give him his space.
We are looking for a foster home (or adoptive home)for Oliver.
He is so sweet and affectionate and just loves to be loved.
Oliver is FIV positive so it will be important that his next home is either as an only cat, or with another FIV positive companion.
We are looking for a foster home and/or an adoptive home. He has not lived with other cats, (he could be introduced as a process) but may thrive with another cat, he seems to seek out the activity of people and animals. Oliver likes dogs.

Meet Tortellini O’Neil!
Small kitty, BIG personality! Tortellini O’Neil is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl with a little ninja spice and a whole lot of love to give. Rescued from a sewer and spending time at a local impound, this brave little girl earned her name as a nod to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their fearless reporter friend, April O’Neil. Now, she’s ready to leave her underground adventures behind and find a forever home where she can live the life of luxury she deserves!

Think you can catch this little ninja? Think again! Tortellini has SUPER SPEED, especially when she realizes you’re coming to pick her up. She’ll turn it into a game of keep-away, darting off just when you think you’ve got her cornered. Of course, the rules of the game are entirely up to her, and when she finally decides she’s ready to be picked up, she’ll let you know! This girl likes to be in charge of her own adventures, so a little patience and a good sense of humor will go a long way.

20. Shomo
Adult (2 years 10 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 23 mi from Victoria

Shomo is an absolutely amazing fella, so very good-natured. We don't know what trauma happened to him, but he came to the rescue needing his tail amputated, cognitively impaired, and needing help with his bladder and bowel. The dear boy simply cannot read others at all. He assumes the very best of absolutely everyone. (We use him to assess other felines as he does not react to their fear.) Shomo happily greets visitors at the door, and he loves everyone. The dear boy cannot resist crinkle bouncer toys, leaping high into the air to catch them. (He isn't the best at landing.)
Read more about Shomo
Shomo needs an extra special home as his bladder requires expressing at least every 12 hours. He has a difficult bladder to squeeze, and he isn't a huge fan of having that done. The dear boy needs someone with strong hands. He cannot urinate on his own. His bladder would rupture if not expressed. We keep his stools firm so that we can control his bowels as well, simply helping him empty his rectum when he urinates (by using external pressure).
This loving fella enjoys cuddling with felines and humans alike. He is available for adoption for $50.
Please note that Shomo is located in New Prague, MN.

Adopting a cat in Victoria
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
