3. Rocky
Meet Rocky! This adorable tuxedo girl is a polydactyl and has extra toes on all four paws! This cutie holds her own in a house full of boys! She loves chasing her foster brothers, running around, and getting into some good old-fashioned kitten roughhousing. She plays hard and crashes hard! When she’s not busy wrestling or chasing toys (the wand toy is a favorite!), she’s happy to enjoy some pets from her people. She loves to nap in the window or on the highest platform of her cat tree. She really enjoys having vertical climbing spots and loves to be up on top. At this age, she’s more of a playmate than a lap cat, but she definitely appreciates affection.
Read more about Rocky
Rocky gets along great with other cats and is comfortable around the dogs in her foster home, as long as they don’t try to chase her. She’s a fun, confident girl who would love a home with another playful feline friend to keep her occupied.
A note about her extra toes: Polydactyl cats need regular nail trims and nail checks. Their extra toes and claws can make it easier for nails to become overgrown or grow into the paw pads, so routine nail maintenance is especially important.
If you’re looking for a playful, outgoing kitten with extra-special paws, Rocky might be your girl!
A note about Rocky’s adoption: Since Rocky is still too young to be spayed, her adopter will need to take her to the scheduled spay appointment when she’s old enough. Her spay is a required part of her adoption. To make sure she can return for her appointment, adopters must live within an hour’s drive of Holmdel, NJ.
Adoption fee: $175 ($300 for a pair)
Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

7. Weston
Meet Weston!
Weston is a special little guy who has been stealing hearts since the day he arrived. Found outside all alone at just two weeks old, Weston came into foster care and was lovingly bottle-fed. Now about three months old, he’s an incredibly happy, sweet and entertaining little guy.
Weston is equal parts playful and affectionate. He loves his toys, chasing and wrestling with the other kittens in his foster home, and finding ways to keep everyone entertained. But just as much as he loves to play, Weston loves to snuggle. He loves to be pet and held, and he is almost always happy, relaxed, and purring.

This little cutie is very social, loves people and has an easygoing personality. He’s brave, curious and loves to explore his foster home. Great with cats of all ages - he loves sharing a cat bed with the other kittens or curling up for a nap on his cat tree. He’s also getting more comfortable around the dogs in his foster home.
Weston is the whole package: playful, affectionate, funny, easygoing, and endlessly sweet. He has been loved and spoiled from the moment he was found, and now he’s ready to find a family of his own to love right back.
Because Weston is such a social boy, he would do best in a home with another young, playful cat. He loves having a feline friend to play with, cuddle with, and keep him company.
A note about Weston’s adoption: Since Weston is still too young to be neutered, his adopter will need to take him to his scheduled neuter appointment when he is old enough. Neutering is required as part of his adoption. To make sure he can return for his appointment, adopters must live in New Jersey and within an hour’s drive of Holmdel, NJ.

8. Miss
Miss hasn't been in foster long, but she's already making quite the impression! This sweet 2-year-old girl has settled in beautifully and has shown us that she's equal parts affectionate and independent.
When Miss is in the mood for love, she is all in. Lie down and you may find her on your chest within seconds, and she's been known to hop into a lap at some pretty hilarious moments. She’ll even wear you like a cozy little scarf—just in time for snuggle season.
Read more about Miss
She loves cuddles and being close to her people, but she's also perfectly happy doing her own thing when the mood strikes. Give her a good sunbeam to stretch out in, and Miss is one very content kitty.
Miss can live with other cats, but she doesn't need a feline companion to be happy. She would be just as content as the only cat in the home, soaking up attention when she wants it and enjoying her independence when she doesn't. Miss was recently dog-tested and she did very well! While she did not choose to engage, she didn't run away either, so we think she would do just fine living with a respectful canine pal!
To keep Miss feeling her best, she may benefit from a special diet, such as rabbit or another novel protein.
She's a sweet, easygoing girl with a wonderful balance of affection and independence. Whether you're looking for a companion for another kitty or a lovely solo cat to share your home with, Miss could be a wonderful fit.
Miss is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and ready to find her forever home. Her adoption fee is $125.

Bringing a cat home to your dog
Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.
Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.
Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
