Pistol is a sweet, playful guy who loves life and love! He loves other cats, especially his besties, Golden Snitch and Pipsqueak! His foster mom doesn’t have a dog, but she is pretty sure this lovey dude will love dogs too. He definitely loves human kids and humans in general!Our favorite Pistol feature is the little white heart on his belly!Pistol would love to live with a family that could give him lots of attention! He loves to play, snuggle, and be around humans. Meet Golden Snitch!Four months old. Professional cuddler. Former roadside fugitive.G Snitch wasn’t exactly looking for a home when he was found. He was a small feral kitten found in the middle of a busy road, and thankfully someone decided his tiny life was worth stopping for.(Yep, that’s me - his foster mom!I knew he was he was special when I looked down at him on the road, and he looked into my eyes and, I mean, deep into my eyes!)At first, G Snitch wasn’t convinced this whole “human” thing was going to work out.In fact, it took 19 DAYS before he finally purred.NINETEEN. DAYS. (My 8-year-old daughter got the first purr)But once he figured out that humans could mean soft beds, a full belly, gentle scratches, cuddles, and feeling safe...

Char/Meck Animal Control was notified by a couple that a cat had shown up at their house. She was scanned for a microchip that came back to the SCHS...from 2015! Unregistered, we have CHARLOTTE back and have caught her up on her vetting. She is a total sweetheart: calm, friendly, but with not many teeth. This, however, does not stop her from eating and she enjoys her meals. She is also four-paw declawed, but doesn't hold that against us. She will make a wonderful lap cat!

SHY and his siblings showed up at a local home back in June with their mama. While the residents knew they couldn’t keep them, they also couldn’t turn their backs. They fed and cared for them until the SCHS could finally take them in. Shy was nervous upon intake, but has really progressed. He enjoys the catio, and visiting with and getting affection from volunteers. He does great with other cats and is sure to be a good lap warmer.
