Young (2 years 1 month) · Female · Domestic Short Hair · 21 mi from Allentown

Meet Chloe Skye!

Chloe Skye is a petite boned 2 year old girl. She was originally found as a stray but has loved the indoor life since she got a taste of it!

She can be a little shy when introduced to new cats, so a slow introduction will be necessary if you want to integrate her into a busier home.

She is super adorable and loves attention from humans though!

We think she would be fine with kids, but she has not met any dogs yet.

Young (1 year 2 months) · Female · Domestic Medium Hair · 21 mi from Allentown

Hi I'm Alley. I'm a sweet girl who is loving my foster's kisses and pets! I run to greet my foster with lots of chatter and mewos, never wanting her to leave. I did come from a hoarding home where I didn't receive the care and attention I so wanted and deserved. It would only take a hot minute for me to warm up to a human and just a bit for cats; as I had many in my previous home. I would love to find my furrever home so I could always share the love and attention I want to give. Now I am just waiting on you to meet me!

10. Valentino

Young · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 6 mi from Allentown

Meet Valentino - a husky personality in a cat suit! He’s a gorgeous, diluted orange-and-white fellow who was recently neutered via a local TNR program (hence his stylish ear-tip). He is a safe and well-cared-for outdoor kitty. However, Valentino is a small chatty cat with a massive personality, as many orange boys do. Valentino has made it very clear that he thinks he is destined for a more luxurious life, with more attention than his current feral foster mom can give him.
If you’ve ever wanted someone to celebrate when you come home, Valentino is your frontman!

Read more about Valentino

The Ultimate Welcome Committee: Valentino is a young adult cat with a voice like an old, beautiful, chain-smoking jazz legend. If you leave the house, he bellows a tragic ballad; when you return, he loudly rasps a joyous anthem to celebrate your return. He would be the perfect match for someone who loves a chatty companion. Or someone is easily distracted. He won’t let you forget to feed and adore him!
A Bit of Orange "Spice": Valentino is very affectionate; he loves chin scratches, snugs, and lets you hold him. He gets the most adorable acrobtic zoomies on occasion. He's playful and "highly" responsive to catnip.
The Dream Setup: Valentino’s dream scenario is an owner who loves spending time relaxing on a porch, patio, or in a sunroom, where Valentino can lounge right beside them and soak up the love. Whether he becomes a pampered indoor cat (Yes! He uses a litter box!) or the king of a secure porch, he just wants a dedicated audience.

Our Safety-Net Promise: We want Valentino to find his true forever fans. If you are willing to give this passionate, quirky guy a shot, we offer a total safety net: if it turns out not to be the right fit, his foster mom will gladly take him back, no questions asked. Valentino is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to bring a lot of character, loyalty, and raspy conversation to your life!
If you have interest, please file your application and Valentino's foster mom will respond ASAP!!

14. Smokey

Adult (4 years 3 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair · 21 mi from Allentown

Meet Smokey!
Smokey is proof that even a former street king can discover that indoor life is pretty darn awesome! Smokey was found as a stray already neutered. He had no microchip, and unfortunately, no owners could be located. After being taken in by a kind person, he quickly decided that soft beds, sunny windows, regular meals, and people weren’t such a bad deal after all!Smokey has been with his current foster family since mid-summer, and he has really settled in. He’s still a bit of an independent guy and can be somewhat aloof, but he’s becoming more comfortable every day. He may not be the cat who needs to be in your lap 24/7, but when he’s in the mood for attention, he’ll happily jump up on the couch, sit right next to you and enjoy some pets. He’s a very gentle and easygoing cat who is wonderful with the boys in his foster home, and he seems to especially enjoy the attention of their 10-year-old.Smokey also has some seriously adorable quirks. When he wants treats or attention, he often stands up on his hind legs like he’s politely placing an order. And when he is REALLY enjoying his pets, he lifts his right paw into the air like he’s giving you a little salute. He is very food motivated and will happily meow for treats—as if his foster family has never fed him before. (We promise he gets plenty of food.)Smokey is excellent with his litter box and gets along with the other cats in his foster home, although he definitely has some feline favorites. He’s also a little bossy with one of his foster cat siblings, but gets along well with the other two and LOVES the calm, cat-savvy family dog. He enjoys playing with cat toys and doing little zoomies around the house, but he is equally happy stretched out in front of a sunny window taking a good nap. He also loves a good belly rub! Smokey has been seen by the vet for some hair loss on the back of his neck. We all believe he has sensitive skin and that topical flea/tick treatments applied to his neck may irritate him. Because of this, his future home should have other pets who receive appropriate year-round flea and tick prevention to help protect Smokey. He’s not destructive, is respectful with his claws, uses his litter box perfectly, and overall is just a really easy guy to have around. He took a little time to feel comfortable, but now he has settled in beautifully.Smokey doesn’t need to be the center of attention. He just wants a safe home, a sunny window, some toys, snacks on demand, and a human who will appreciate his occasional couch cuddles—and his very official paw salute. This former street king is ready to retire to his forever home. Could that be with you?

16. Mabel

Adult (4 years 5 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair · 21 mi from Allentown

If you’re looking for a faithful companion who will follow you anywhere or a cuddle buddy who loves to be the little spoon, Mabel’s your girl. She’s estimated to be 5 to 8 years old and one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet. She solicits pets with head-butts and will squeeze and contort herself into all manner of places and positions just to be close to you. She’s also smart, easy-going and very well-behaved, making things like nail clipping, vet visits and giving medicine a breeze. She’d be a great fit for just about any family.

Read more about Mabel

Something to note about Mabel is that she has some hyperlaxity in her wrists. It doesn't slow her down or bother her, but may cause her to develop arthritis a little earlier than most. A healthy diet, perhaps with the addition of joint supplements, and maintaining a healthy weight will go a long way towards keeping her feeling her best.

Why adopt an adult cat in Allentown

An adult cat's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are used to family life.

Grown cats are calmer and need less supervision than kittens, which suits people who work long hours or have young children.
