7. Yogi
Adult · Male · Bengal / Mixed (short coat) · 16 mi from Philadelphia

Yogi is a 6 year-old male Bengal, neuterer, microchipped, INDOOR ONLY, and up to date on vaccines.
About Yogi:
Read more about Yogi
We call Yogi our forever kitten because he is rather tiny (10 lbs) and gives off kitten energy. He is a majestic little guy - his coat is absolutely beautiful and shimmers in the sun.
Like most cats, Yogi sleeps the majority of the day but when he is awake he loves to be around his humans and absolutely loves playtime. His favorite toy is a fishing-rod style toy and he loves to leap through the air to catch it. He is an amazing athlete! He also loves to chase and eat flies.
Yogi is fine with older children but does not like to be chased or grabbed by little ones. He is not aggressive, he will react by hiding.
Yogi does not like to be picked up. He loves pets and nuzzles, and he will cuddle up to you but it has to be on his own terms.
He does not tolerate nail trims very well so he needs scratching posts.
Litter trained
Eats wet and dry food
Currently takes transdermal Prozac (cream swiped in his ear 1x day). This was started a couple months ago to try to reunite our cats but has not helped so I believe it can be stopped once he has settled in his new home. I will provide his meds and show you how I administer, or I can wean him off before his rehoming if you aren’t comfortable.
Was last seen by a vet in August. He has an early stage dental resorptive lesion impacting 1 tooth. At some point when it begins cause pain the tooth will need to be extracted.
Ideal home: We feel Yogi will thrive in a pet-free home (or with a dog who is confirmed to be cat-friendly) with owners who can give daily playtime and enrichment. Yogi doesn’t require a ton of time, but he does like to be played with daily and consistently. I also think he would enjoy enriching activities like food puzzles and being trained to do tricks if that’s in your wheelhouse.
Ideal home does not have small children as Yogi is fearful of children who grab and chase.
Please note his adoption fee is $300
This cat has tested FeLV/FIV. negative, is current on vaccinations and parasite-free. To hasten the adoption process, please complete our adoption form online at https://forms.gle/5xfPr3EUdSYSyAGV7 .

8. Lilac, Willow Grove PA 01/27/2026
Adult · Female · Siamese / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 10 mi from Philadelphia

Lilac – Asthmatic - Traditional Siamese Mix
Lilac is affectionate and stunningly beautiful with thick, soft fur and blue eyes. She loves being brushed and petted. We have no idea how she became homeless, but she was living outside in a feral cat colony in Norristown PA. At the shelter, her breathing appeared labored. A veterinary exam with x-rays diagnosed asthma. She’s been closely observed in her foster home. Once she settled in, she no longer requires asthma medication. We haven’t determined what exacerbates her asthma. She tolerates, but doesn’t interact with, other cats. Unknown how she’d be with a dog. She needs a stable home life. Her adopter should be prepared to treat for asthma as needed.
Contact Lilac's foster with questions at FCWillowGrove@gmail.com . Please submit a no-obligation application to meet and adopt today: Forgotten Cats Adoption Application (Foster: Linda T)

9. Jaspurr
Adult (2 years) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 25 mi from Philadelphia

He is named as a wish to hear him purr because he was so silent at first, and now he is a purring machine. A smaller adult male with a beautiful black and white coat in interesting patterns (especially around his eyes, almost like a mask), glowing yellow eyes and very white teeth. We found Jaspürr in Clay St Park, by Rt 1S ramp early August 2026; all alone, scared and hungry. He was guarded and wary of humans, maybe due to past/recent history, but brave enough to accept food from a distance. The vet estimated him to be around 2yrs old, though he looks younger. Jaspürr feels thin for his 8 lbs. and eats a lot, guess to compensate for prior hunger. We are fostering him for Trenton Cats Rescue. Jaspürr has a playful and intense personality, once you gain his trust. It took a few weeks to do this, but now he really likes and looks for his humans, if tentative at first. He is fast to explore his surroundings, jumping/climbing everywhere at his own pace. Jaspürr truly, carefully observes and learns about his humans with those bright eyes of his, you can almost see his brain trying to understand his humans’ actions. He has a soft meow, sounds almost like a baby. Jaspürr is very shy and reserved at first, it can take a few days for him to warm up, again likely due to prior experiences. Once he trusts you, he loves to lay by your side, rub his head on your hands and being brushed all over. His purr is constant during these interactions, like a tiny lion looking for attention. He does not mind to be held for a few minutes, best if wrapped on a blanket/towel. This is a good way to get his attention, make eyes at him and trim his nails. Jaspürr seems attracted to chewing toys and food puzzles; he loves scratching cat trees. Not really into wands or any toy that makes sounds/moves at this time. So far, we don’t know how he relates to other cats, as our own 9-year-old cat avoids other cats. Jaspürr was sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated on 1 Sept 2026. Food is the clear way to get his immediate attention and later his trust, let him identify you with feeding times. He is not fussy with food at all, eats absolutely everything you put in front of him (dry kibble, wet canned food, bisque, stews, little soups, Churu/mousse, treats, even leftovers from our own cat!) to completion. He can get impatient waiting for food; bowls to slow his eating down and a stable/loving home can help. Litter box-trained and very clean. Still, he is a petite cat. His coat is lustrous and shiny, meticulous at cleaning himself. His paws are strong and has sharp claws, recommend trimming often. We keep water bowls around and fresh cat grass available for him (he likes to chew cat grass). Jaspürr likes sunning and looking out of windows for hours, happily watching birds/squirrels/clouds. We also play a classical music station for him a few hours per day to keep him company. So far, he’s not curious of doors because he stays on one bigger room upstairs, best being aware as cats can be curious of outside and get in problems. He can slip out easily as he’s small with slick coat.

30. Chai Latte Willow Grove
Young · Female · Torbie (short coat) · 10 mi from Philadelphia

Meet Chai Latte!
As beautiful and comforting as her name, Chai Latte is a gorgeous 2-year-old girl with stunning swirls of warm, rich colors.
But behind that beautiful face is a heartbreaking story. At just 2 years old, neighbors believe Chai Latte had already given birth to approximately SIX litters of kittens while struggling to survive on the streets. Six litters, and she was barely more than a kitten herself.
Thankfully, a compassionate Forgotten Cats volunteer crossed her path and changed her life forever. ❤️
Chai Latte has spent far too much of her young life being a mama and trying to survive.
Read more about Chai Latte Willow Grove
Now it’s finally HER turn to be loved, pampered, and cared for. No more struggling on the streets, no more raising babies outdoors. Just the warmth, comfort, and security of a forever home.
This beautiful girl deserves a fresh start and a lifetime of love. Could you be the one to give her the happy life she’s been waiting for?
*Chai is relatively new to our rescue so once we get a chance to know her better, we will update her biography, but we do know at this point that she is a very loving, affectionate, young lady

How to adopt from Animal Coalition of Delaware County, Inc.
We believe in an adoption approach that considers important details for finding the right fit, such as a person's home, interests and lifestyle. We then match those with an animal's social, exercise and training needs. Unlike “pass/fail” application programs, we strive to match people and animals through education and discovery. We accomplish this through conversation to create an effective, pleasant adoption experience — and most important — to make lasting matches. Each situation, adopter and animal requires a different approach. And while we reserve the right to refuse an adoption, we always make every effort to work with you to address concerns or find the most appropriate companion animal. Before falling in love with one of our animals, please make sure that you are: At least 21 years of age In possession of a valid photo ID Allowed to have a cat or dog where you live (proof of home ownership or copy of lease with pet clause allowing pets is required) Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal Able to provide veterinary references for current and past veterinarians PLEASE ALLOW 4-5 BUSINESS DAYS FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO BE THOROUGHLY PROCESSED BY ONE OF OUR ADOPTION COUNSELORS If the animals are still listed on our website they are still available. Adopting a cat in Philadelphia
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
