Young (5 months 27 days) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 43 mi from Clark

Here's what Belle's caretaker has to say about her.

Belle! ❤️

She is a super sweet little girl that sought out a very nice lady and wouldn’t leave her side until she was picked up and toted home with her. ❤️

Belle warms up quickly to humans, she loves pets and attention. It seems she is apprehensive towards other cats but with a slow introduction I think she will do fine. My foster room has 9 other kittens in it, she is currently crated because she was spayed on Monday. She was not happy being put in the room the first two days, now she is doing ok and when she is healed she will be let out to intermingle if she feels comfortable with it.

6. Buddy

Adult · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 43 mi from Clark

Here's what Buddy's owner has to say about him!

Buddy Bio

Read more about Buddy

This is Buddy. He is 5 years old. I rescued from an outside blizzard where I heard a very loud kitten screaming. He was scared, cold and starving. He seemed to have been feral at the time with no human contact cuz he was scared to death of people. I had to live trap him to save him the cold. Buddy has came a long way since. He now is learning to more social and trust people. He loves other cats! He is very insecure but another cat makes him feel secure. He is very smart and a pretty big guy. His markings and size remind of a Savannah or a Bengal cat. He is beautiful. He knows his name and will blink at you slowly when you talk to him. He knows the word “bedtime” and will run upon the bed and really open up to being petted at bedtime and even meows for attention at bedtime until you pet him. He loves to eat and will also sit on command for a treat. He is very submissive to other cats. He has only been accepted by a few of the 7 cat household he lives in now. He headbuts with hugs them and rubs all over them. He would thrive in a quiet patient home with another cat to make him feel secure. She is super sweet boy that is slowly coming out of his shell but can tell he wants to trust. He as well has struggled in a 7 cat household and get chased and “put into his place” by the more dominate males. He deserves a quiet and patient home where he can relax and just be a cat with another cat as a friend. He absolutely loves his cat tree where he can relax alone and not be bothered by the other cats.! He loves to watch the birds outside too. He does fear being outside. This guy has a lot of potential to be very lovable cat without so many other cats keeping him on edge. He craves attentions and love but is outnumbered and out ranked in the house. He gets pushed off to the side as the other cats come in for attention and he will submiss to them.

Handsome Buddy is neutered and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Buddy is not a Rose's Rescue cat, we are posting him in order to help his owner find him a new home. He is located in the Mogadore 44260 area. His adoption fee will be $50. Please TEXT ONLY Tammy at 330-730-9756 or email her at tamking1@netzero.net for more information about Buddy.

This is Obie. He is 5 years old. He was rescued from a man that found him in trailer park in the snow all alone under a trailer and no mama or siblings in sight when he was less than 3 weeks old and was bottle fed. I have had khim ever since. Obie is very sweet and “romantic” kitty. He loves to give head buts and rubs his face on yours. He loves to be smooched on and now exacly what smooches are. He is very smart. Sits on command for a treat and he loves his treats. He also hunts down bugs” I you say the word “bug”. He is very lovable once he bonds with you. At first he can be shy but full of love to give. He would do well in a quiet home as well. He has been in a 7 cat household and would love to have more attention all for himself. He loves to play with flying toys and he is very sporty and nimble. He does not meow…he also has a “chirp” when he talk to you. He knows his name and will talk (chirp) to you. He will have a whole conversation with ya! He is a very good boy and just wants one on one love without having to compete for it. Just full of love to give once he warms up to you. He loves to be baby talked to and gets flirty with ya when you do. He loves to sleep next to you UNDER the covers in bed. He loves to be covered up when sleeping and lets you “tuck him in” when you ask him. He is such a big baby at heart and loves to be babied. Loves peace and quiet as well. He is afraid of going outside and loud noises and storms but loves to look and chirp at the birds and bugs outside…from a window on the inside.

Baby
Sweet little girly gal that enjoys her peace and quiet with her person. She is super sweet and like to give hugs when asked to your forehead. She will also give you “kisses” and lick your forehead when asked. She likes to sleep in your bed with you and even knows when you tell her “it’s bedtime”. She likes to play fetch with her mouses and bring it back to ya for more fetch. She doesn’t “meow”…she chirps when you say her name. She would thrive I a quiet and peaceful home. She has shared a household with 7 other cats where she has been constantly stalked and chased and has made her “on edge” all the time. She does “tolerate” to get her nails trimmed….but not a big fan. She has never biten but does get pretty vocal of her dislike of it. She just loves to sit and watch the birds outside and if a bug gets in the house, you say the word “BUG’ and she is on it looking to get it. She does not like soft cat food but she does just adore her cat treats. I would always give her treats after a nail trim as a reward to associate getting nails done with positive reward. You ask her to “sit” and she will sit for her treat.

He is being fostered in Akron, Ohio, and was born around the end of February 2026 (approx. 8 months old).

Robin's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip. If adopted with his sister Wren, the adoption fee for the pair is $150.

As long as your application has been pre-approved, the pet's foster parent will set up a time with you to come visit the pet you're interested in. In some cases, a home visit may also be required. If all goes well, you will then sign an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and then your new pet is ready to go to its forever home! Adopting a cat in Clark

Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.

Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.

Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
