Dude is a handsome tuxedo fella that was rescued after being dumped on the streets of Philly when his family moved. He is an absolute sweetheart, loves people so much and is very chatty, will call to find out where you are! He’s a lap cat too and would love to be someone’s special buddy. He’s just such a special boy and deserves a special family. Dude’s adoption fee is $150 and he is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, flea treated and dewormed. Crackerjack is an adorable, tiger and white kitten that was rescued from a crackhouse in Philly after escaping or being tossed out, thankfully for his sake! He is a super social and fun, little guy that is also super sweet! He does well with the dogs in the home, but can be a little too much for the cats, as he needs to learn kitty manners, proper playing, from having been a single kitten. He is neutered, current on vaccines. FeLV/FIV negative, flea treated and microchipped! His adoption fee is $150. Bringing a cat home to your dog
Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.
Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.
Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
