3. Floyd
2 Years · Male · Bombay

Floyd is a big, beautiful house panther and one of the friendliest cats you will ever meet! He was trapped living outside and he had a hard time adjusting to shelter life initially. Once he settled down, the shelter staff was amazed at his super outgoing nature! He became one of the friendliest cats in the shelter! He was not happy being in a small cage and quickly made fast friends by jumping out of his cage to give kisses to anyone who would give him the time. He is an ultra outgoing and loving guy. His tail is always up - strangers? That is not a term he recognizes. He loves everyone! He is also great with other kitties :) This guy needs to be a part of a family - desperately!

Adopting a cat in Galveston County
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
