Kitten (1 month 1 day) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat)

Hello! I'm Brad and I was so tiny when I was rescued from the street! I'm still the tiniest one in the group but believe me I can hold my own. Sometimes the runts have to get tough quick so we can keep up with the bigger ones!I watch all my playmates and am a quick study. I'm just as good at knocking around balls and jumping and chasing the wand toy!! AND I can hold my own in wrestling most of the time and if I find myself in trouble, I just scream REALLY loud and my Foster's mom comes to save me!! Hehe! I really enjoy sleeping with my mom at night cause I feel safe on her chest. I'm a sweet cuddly little girl who loves attention.
So if you'd like to meet me, just email mom at catlady5555@yahoo.com.

11. Mary Bug
Young (10 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Tuxedo / Mixed (short coat)

I AM MARY BUG! I was an inside girl and ended up pregnant so the previous owners kicked me out. I ended up having 7 healthy babies. A nice lady found me and rescued me and my babies and took us all in. I was so grateful. We were safe. My babies good now flourish and grow and I don't have to worry about outside influences trying to kill them or hurt them. After about a week I was called into action to help with some more babies. Of course my foster mom was doing her job feeding every 2 hours on all of the babies. I did my job to welcome the new additional four babies in and help feed them where I can.

I love them like they are my own. They thrived my baby's thrived and we all were one big family. My foster Mama made sure that I got enough food so even though I was feeding more kids she was doing her job too, I was able to gain weight throughout this whole thing and I'm a healthy happy mama. I'll be ready with surgery complete around mid August, I just have to make sure my newest babies are weaned and able to 100% eat and are not dependent on me or a bottle. I got to do my part.!

Adopting a cat in Washington County
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
