Once she’s feeling more settled, Eeyore enjoys playing with toys and showing off her playful kitten side. She’s not the loudest or boldest of her siblings: Cinder, Gracie and Ebony, but she has her own special charm and deserves a chance to grow in confidence.

Beneath her uncertainty is a sweet girl who enjoys pets and wants love and the chance to finally feel safe. But trust doesn’t come easily to Abra. When she feels overwhelmed, she may become defensive, so she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that she can’t be rushed.

14. Kanga
Senior · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Meow meet Kanga! Kanga is the kind of cat who may quietly break your heart - in the very best way. This beautiful 9 year old brown tabby girl was found as a stray alongside a kitten named Roo. Once she was safe, we learned that Kanga is FIV positive and has mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which gives her a little wobble. But those things don’t define Kanga. They are simply a few things she carries with her. What truly defines her is the incredibly sweet girl underneath it all. Kanga can be a bit shy at first and simply needs a little time to become comfortable. But once she does, the transformation is beautiful.
Read more about Kanga
She becomes your shadow, quietly following her personal and soaking up every bit of affection she can get. She loves head and neck scratches, has the softest, cutest little meow, and even though she prefers to keep her feet on the ground, she will happily crawl into your lap when she wants to be close. She would thrive in a quiet home without children where she can take her time settling in. She could be a wonderful companion for a senior or anyone who understands that sometimes the deepest bonds aren’t instant - they are built a little slower, one gentle moment at a time. Kanga has spent enough of her life wondering where she belongs. What she needs now isn’t someone looking for a perfect cat; she needs someone who sees the perfectly wonderful cat standing right in front of them. Give Kanga a little time, a quiet place, and a lap to call her own, and she just might give you the sweetest kind of friendship - the kind that quietly becomes a part of your heart before you even realize it!
With regular vet care and a safe indoor life, FIV+ cats like Kanga can live, long happy lives--just like any other kitty! Here is an

27. Symphony
Adult (5 years 3 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Meow meet Symphony! Some cats don’t ask for much! A soft bed. A gentle hand. A quiet place to finally feel safe. At just five years old, her past is a mystery. She was living as a stray until she was safely caught in a humane trap. We don’t know what life was like before then, but it’s clear she learned to be careful. Despite everything, she has the sweetest heart. Tiny in size and gentle in spirit, Symphony quietly leans into pets, as if she’s still amazed that kindness is meant for her. She seems grateful for every gentle touch, every warm meal, every peaceful day - almost like she’s still wondering if this new life is real.

Symphony won’t be the cat who rushes into your arms on day one. She needs someone with a patient heart who will let her settle in at her own pace, never asking for more than she’s ready to give. But with every quiet moment, every gentle word, and every act of kindness, she’ll show you just how much love can grow from trust. After surviving life on her own, she deserves more than just a home. Symphony deserves a place where she’ll never have to wonder if she’s safe again…a place where she’ll finally know she is loved, exactly as she is!

28. Tippy
Adult (5 years 2 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Meow meet Tippy! Tippy is the kind of cat who quietly works her way into your heart and stays there forever. This beautiful 5 year old grey and white girl has such a gentle, loving soul - the kind that shines through every soft nuzzle, every content little lean into your hand, and every moment she curls up safely in her beloved Winnie the Pooh cat bed. Sadly, Tippys world was turned upside down when her owner could no longer keep her and surrendered her to a local veterinary office who then contacted the rescue. Through all the change and uncertainty, Tippy has remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting.

She simply wants to love and be loved in return. Tippy is diabetic, but not insulin dependent. Her diabetes is managed with a once a day chewable tablet called Bexacat, along with prescription food and an automatic feeder that carefully dispenses the proper amount of food at the right time to keep her healthy and stable. She cannot have wet food and because her diet and feeding schedule are so important to maintaining her health, Tippy would need to be the only pet in the home to ensure she never has access to other animals food. She is an incredibly tidy little lady who adores pets, attention, and being close to her people. The smallest acts of love seem to mean everything to her. There’s something especially heartbreaking about seeing such a kind, easygoing cat lose the only home she knew - yet Tippy still greats each day with softness, trust, and hope. The rescue will gladly answer any questions and make sure her future family feels comfortable and prepared to give her the care she needs. Tippy’s routine is manageable, and in return, you’ll gain a deeply loving companion who asks for very little besides kindness, comfort, and someone who won’t give her up again. More than anything, Tippy deserves someone who will look at her not as a medical condition or a responsibility, but as the deeply loving soul she is - a little cat who has already lost her home once and is still waiting, with hopeful eyes and a gentle heart, for someone to finally choose her forever. Won’t you be Tippy’s someone?
