The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

ALADDIN and several feline family members were saved from a horrific hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action.

As of AUGUST 2026, 100 cats have either gone to other rescues or have been saved by us. You will know who these cats are by their names. They have all been named after the show "Once Upon A Time". Aside from the necklaces the kitties wear i in their professional pictures, Rescue Mama names her rescue cats after shows she watches.

Meet ALADDIN, a majestic adult Tuxedo Maine Coon from Riverside, California, whose gentle spirit shines as brightly as his striking black and white coat. Weighing a healthy 18 pounds, this handsome boy has blossomed into a sweet and affectionate companion who adores every moment of attention he receives. ALADDIN came through an incredibly difficult chapter early in life, but today he radiates warmth, trust, and quiet confidence that instantly draws people close.

ALADDIN is the kind of cat who believes cuddles are an essential part of every day. He loves being carried through the house like royalty, happily soaking up kisses, soft conversations, and cozy snuggle sessions.
