Hi, I&#39m Bakey! I am a handsome tuxedo male born approximately 12/26/2025. My tail was amputated due to an old injury I had before coming to Wild Blue Cats! I&#39m a sweet, curious boy who has come such a long way since arriving. I started out pretty shy and unsure about people, and I preferred to watch everything from a safe spot before deciding whether I wanted to participate. With lots of patience, gentle attention, and positive experiences, I&#39ve been learning that people can be pretty wonderful!
One of the fastest ways to win me over is through playtime! I absolutely love wand toys, laser toys, and anything I can chase and pounce on.

I&#39ve become much more confident and playful over time, and I really enjoy getting outside for some supervised playtime and exploration in the secure outdoor enclosure. I&#39ve even discovered that head scratches, gentle pets, and brushing can feel pretty nice when I&#39m comfortable with you. I can still be a little reserved about handling and may only want to be held briefly, so I appreciate people who let me set the pace and respect my boundaries. Underneath my cautious side is a very sweet kitty who continues to blossom the more I learn to trust.
I&#39m looking for a patient family in a calm home who will give me time to settle in, play with me, and allow our relationship to grow naturally. I think I&#39d do well in a family with respectful teenagers, another feline friend, or even a calm doggie buddy, as long as you follow Wild Blue&#39s introduction procedures. With a little patience, lots of fun toys, and plenty of love, I think I&#39ll make a wonderful companion for someone special!
