Birdie is a petite, adorable little torti with the sweetest soul and a story that will tug at your heart.After losing her family, Birdie found herself needing someone to lean on. And along came Rooster. Rooster stepped into a role he never had to take on, becoming her companion, her protector, and the one she could count on.Since then, these two have developed the most beautiful friendship.Birdie has also faced another challenge.

An eye condition that got worse and to the point that her eye could not be saved, and she underwent surgery to have it removed. Today, she is fully recovered, happy, and somehow even sweeter than before!She’s a little shy and timid at first, but beneath that reserved exterior is an incredibly loving little girl. And wherever Rooster goes, Birdie is never far behind. She’s constantly walking beside him, giving him affectionate little headbutts, and reminding him just how much he means to her. Both are now out and about with the rest of the cats at Oz, enjoying life and growing more confident every day.Watching these two blossom together has been something truly special. They simply adore each other.Birdie may have lost an eye, but she gained a best friend who sees her as absolutely perfect.
