What my Foster Says About Me:
Ernie is one perfect kitten – affectionate, social, playful, and curious. Like a true black cat, she is her person’s shadow, following them around everywhere from room to room. Ernie loves to weave in between your legs and rub up against you any chance she gets, so be careful when you’re walking! When you call her, she’ll either run up to you with the cutest trill, or immediately flop onto her back and roll over, and her belly is not a trap!Ernie loves playtime and has great energy. She likes to show off her expert hunting skills, jumping up at wand toys and chasing down springs and balls. She’ll also play chase with the resident cat, or sometimes even try to catch her own tail! She reports for bird and squirrel watching duty everyday and never fails to keep a watchful eye out on the street with her foster brother. And when it’s time to wind down, this girl is all purrs and snuggles. Ernie loves being held or laying on top of your chest, and she’s the first kitty her foster mom has found that loves to hang out in her foster mom’s hoodie! She’s also an expert baker who loves to knead biscuits on blankets, your tummy, or arms. Ernie is the total package – equal parts playful and loving – and is ready to bring so much joy and love into your life :)

What the Shelter Says About Me: Ernie struts through life with total confidence, flashing her charming looks at anyone who'll give her a moment of attention (and it works every time!). Found under a school bus (she must like to learn), this girl is a whirlwind of energy when playtime starts, tearing after toys, pouncing on shadows, and turning even the simplest string into an adventure. But when the games wind down, she melts into pure snuggle mode, proving she's as sweet as she is playful. When she is in her loving mood, she just rolls around and invites petting. This sleek little girl is looking for someone to be the center of her world, and she's more than ready to return the favor.
