Looking for a little sunshine, lots of purring, and a best friend who will melt your heart? Meet Jack, a 3-month-old orange tabby boy with a stunning, tiger-like coat and a purr motor so loud your neighbors might hear it!

Jack is a family-friendly lovebug who wears his heart on his furry sleeve. His loud, happy purr comes with the sweetest little trills and chirps—his own special way of telling you how much he loves being with you!

A Little About Jack:

A Certified Lovebug: Jack loves being near his people. He’ll seek you out just to hang out nearby and keep you company.

A Gentle Little Gentleman: Jack has the sweetest way of asking for affection, reaching up with his incredibly soft paws to touch your face for kisses. He's gentle, tender, and absolutely heart-melting!

Only Pet: Jack likes other kittens and cats but maybe too much. When he has a furry playmate, he just wants to play play play and his human is second fiddle. But if he is an only pet, he is like velcro to you. So for this reason, for now we think it might be best if he is adopted as a solo pet.

Your Movie-Night Companion: Settle onto the couch, and Jack will find his way onto a lap. Expect nose kisses, snuggles, and enough purring to make any movie extra cozy!

A Bedtime Bestie: Jack loves sleeping with you or snuggling beside you, soothing you to sleep with his heartwarming purr. Who needs a sound machine when you have Jack?

Adoption Information – Please Read Carefully

Most of Dexter's Kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, SNAP combo tested, and vaccinated according to their age.

Adoption Fees:

$150 for one kitten

$250 for a bonded pair

If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company’s contact info to verify that pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will confirm ownership through public records.

Please note: We are an all-volunteer team and do our best to respond promptly. Applications that provide the most detailed and helpful information will be prioritized to help us make the best match for both you and the kitty.

Cats can live 20+ years. Adopting is a lifelong commitment. Please ensure you have:

– Financial resources for emergency vet care

– A stable and cat-friendly home

– A backup plan for your cat’s care if something happens to you
