Karen Smith

Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair

Starting October 6, all cats and kittens are FREE to adopt! Come find your new best friend today!Meet Karen Smith!Karen Smith is a 5-month-old gray and white kitten who arrived at the rescue with her siblings. Like many young cats in a shelter environment, she unfortunately developed ringworm shortly after intake and spent about a month in quarantine while she healed. Despite the setback, Karen handled it all with quiet resilience and a gentle spirit. Now fully recovered, Karen has blossomed into a social, affectionate kitten who is ready to find her forever family. While she may have once been a bit shy, she has gained confidence every day and now happily seeks out attention from her favorite people.

Karen is often found leaning against her kennel bars, purring away in hopes of receiving pets and affection. She has discovered just how wonderful human attention can be and is eager to soak up every bit of it.Karen is still a sweet and thoughtful girl, but her playful and loving personality shines brighter with each passing day. She enjoys watching the world around her, investigating new things, and greeting visitors with her gentle charm. Her affectionate nature and easygoing attitude make her a joy to spend time with.Karen would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident cat who can continue to be her companion and playmate. She enjoys feline friendships and has done well around other cats. Because of her young age and adaptable personality, she could also do well with respectful children and cat-friendly dogs.Karen Smith has come a long way since her arrival and is proof that a little patience and love can help a kitten truly shine. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will lean in close for pets and reward you with endless purrs, Karen may be the perfect match for you. ❤️Karen Smith's adoption fee is $75, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful.
