From the Foster Family: As soon as we heard there was a little black kitten named Melissa who needed a soft place to land, we didn’t hesitate. First, we love black cats. Second, the foster mom of the household just happens to be named Melissa too! So naturally, this sweet little girl became Melissa Junior, or MJ for short.

MJ is an affectionate, social girl who wants to be part of whatever her people are doing. She loves attention, loves to play, and especially loves spending time with her sister, Katie. When the day is over, MJ is also quite happy to curl up with Melissa Senior and sleep beside her at night.

With her sleek black coat, gorgeous golden eyes, and curious little face, MJ is a beauty, but her personality is what really gets you. She’s loving, playful, people-oriented, and happiest when she has someone nearby.

Whether she's playing with Katie, following her people around, or settling in for bedtime, MJ just wants to be where the love is.
