Minnie

Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Minnie is a sleek, black kitten, about 5 1.2 months old now. She was born around April 23 in Martinez. Mama brought her 9 kittens to a contractor's yard around 5 weeks old when she was struggling to feed the large litter. The guys immediately put food out and borrowed traps to rescue them all.
Six of nine are adopted. Minnie, Tabby Boy and Pepper are still waiting. Minnie is shy and a little wary at first. Once you start petting her, she erupts with a large purr and rolls for pets. But the adoption site stresses her out. She's been overlooked for months and just tries to get through the 3-hour ordeal.

The last two weeks, she gets so stressed that by the time we return home she has thrown up. So I am REALLY hoping to find her a forever home, online soon.
They’ve been raised with other cats and are all wonderful, playful kittens. Pepper is the most confident, while Tabby Boy is very playful, and Minnie is shy at first and then very sweet. All three have HUGE purrs.
Pepper (F, Black) - The most outgoing of the three, she has the run of my house, sleeping on my bed at night, napping in my lap while I work form home, snuggling with my adult cats, and returning to her siblings for playtime. Pepper has a huge purr, loves being picked up and snuggled, and is happiest when she’s part of the household. She can be a lap cat, stretching out or curling up in my lap because she enjoys being close. Pepper sleeps on the bed with me and snuggles up to my two big male cats. She also enjoys playing with her siblings, playing chase in the house with my younger cats, or amusing herself with balls to bat around. Truly, she’s a wonderful kitten!
Tabby Boy - Tabby Boy and Minnie were initially fostered with young kids and did good with them. Then were a bit shy when I started to bring them to adoption events. Once you start petting Tabby Boy, he can’t get enough! Rolling around and stretching out for belly rubs, head rubs, all with a big rumbling purr. Sometimes I just look at him and he starts purring and flirtatiously rolling around. He is very active and playful and is learning to walk on a leash and harness inside. Give him a little patience, and you’ll discover a playful, affectionate kitten with an impressive purr.
Minnie (F, Black) - She is the most reserved but she’s been gaining confidence. The way to her trust--- wet food and treats! She too loves a good head rub and purrs ver loudly. Definitely a family trait. She will need adopter who understands that trust takes a little time. She too loves my big male cat, he’s like a easy going big brother that they all want to be near.
