1. Holstein
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 6 mi from Aurora

My Name is Holstien. It's an ironic name based on my coloring because I was the runt. When my family was found I was 1.5 weeks old and only about 60% as big as my siblings. Now i'm not the littlest but I am the bravest. I love eating and am a little round. My beautiful belly has a heart shaped mark on it. I sure do love people too. If you hold me I'll be so happy and if you play with me I'll be even happier. I'm a well balanced kitty, just the right amount of confidence and curiosity to be your forever friend.
I'm 9 weeks old, spayed and chipped.
DOB August 2026.

2. Yang
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 6 mi from Aurora

Hi name is Yang, I am so cuddly, playful too. If you hold me I'll just melt and relax into you. Napping together is great in between play sessions. My family was found abandoned when I was just 1.5 weeks old. My poor mom was starving. I've had the benefit of being raised by people and my loving mom. She loves people, so I do too. I think I'm pretty mellow. Sometimes I just watch my crazy siblings then I'll but it's ok to be pretty calm too. Some people think my ears are too big for army head. I look a little unique.
I'm 9 weeks old, spayed and chipped. My black and white coat is short and tidy. I have an old soul for a new kitty.

3. Yin
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 6 mi from Aurora

My Name is Yin. I am so brave and playful. My mom was abandoned and took care of us alone until we all got fostered when I was 1.5 weeks. I'm the adventurer in the group so that means I love to play in new spaces like boxes, under sheets or anywhere adventure takes me. When I'm not playing or being curious I'll come sleep on your lap or sit on your shoulder like a parrot. I am just so much fun.
Please consider adopting me. I'm black and white and my short fur keeps things easy peasy. I'm 9 weeks old, chipped and spayed.

Meet Doolin — A Little Irish Luck and a Whole Lot of Love! Every cat has a story, but Doolin's begins with a little mystery! This handsome, ear-tipped gentleman appeared on a neighborhood porch one day, seemingly out of nowhere. Where he came from or what adventures he had before finding his way into foster care, we'll never know. But one thing is certain — Doolin was ready for a new beginning! When Doolin first arrived, he was a shy, cautious boy who wasn't quite sure what to make of his new surroundings. Those cautious glances turned into sweet slow blinks, and that once-reserved kitty began discovering just how wonderful human affection can be!Today, Doolin is a purring, affectionate sweetheart who eagerly seeks out his foster mom for attention! He happily rubs against her legs, nuzzles her hands, and turns on that wonderful little purr motor while soaking up all the love and scritches he can get. Watching his confidence blossom has been nothing short of magical! And as it turns out, Doolin is quite the gentleman! He respectfully greets the other cats in his foster home and doesn't seem the least bit bothered by the resident dogs. While Doolin has made incredible progress, he's still building confidence when it comes to being picked up. He'll need a patient, understanding family who will let him continue blossoming at his own pace. But if his journey so far is any indication, this sweet boy has so much more love waiting to be discovered!Doolin is living proof that sometimes the most beautiful relationships begin with a little patience and a whole lot of heart. His past may always be a mystery, but his future deserves to be filled with love, security, and a family of his very own. Could you be Doolin's lucky charm and give this special boy his happily ever after? ❤️

Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 6 mi from Aurora

My name is Dana, and I am a tabby girl with white paws, and I could have been named One Sock! I also have just the cutest face. Just look at me!I’m a sweet girl. If you are looking for a lap kitty, look no further! I also love a good wand toy – super fun!I am very fond of my sister, Betty. We are constantly together and would love nothing more than to spend all day in your lap! Betty is a gorgeous medium-hair seal point Siamese. Not only is she gorgeous, she is an absolute doll (like me!)Betty and I are also relaxed kittens. We are not the kind of kittens who are constantly trying to climb out of our room or investigate every possible corner. Yes, we like attention (a lot!), but we’re very content to just be near you! We like to play, hang out together, and nap.I am spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. I’m also great with my litterbox! If you’re looking for a pair of exceptionally sweet kittens, come meet me and Betty. We’re currently in Broomfield. 10. Eric
Young (5 months 14 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair · 30 mi from Aurora

Meet Ariel and Eric
These two sweethearts were transferred to EAPL from HSFC due to the fire evacuations, and they're settling in a little cautiously — understandably so, after a stretch of being medicated and in quarantine. They're a bit gun-shy for now, but patient hands are already seeing them come out of their shells.
They arrived with an upper respiratory infection and were feeling pretty under the weather after the transfer — but they've since made a full recovery! Now that they're feeling better, they've discovered wand toys and can't get enough of them once they're comfortable with you.

Bringing a cat home to your dog
Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.
Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.
Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
