Jolene was turned into a county shelter with "lots of milk" production but no kittens with her. Animal control asked the people to go look for the kittens and they never came back. Jolene is a very young girl who is SUPER sweet. She would be a great addition to a family. She will be spayed and ready for adoption after May 12. Lovely long-haired beauty BOO is a gentle girl looking for a new home to call her own. She's about 5 years old and currently 11 pounds. Boo was adopted from SDHR as a kitten back in 2022 and recently returned. Changes in her home over time, including the arrival of a new baby and the loss of her canine companions proved too stressful for Boo so we agreed to take her back and find her a home environment where she can thrive. She needs a quiet adult-only home. She lived with 2 dogs who were her dear companions and their passing broke her heart. Boo is ideally suited to a home where she will have a friendly canine or feline companion. She needs a patient adopter who will help her settle in to her new life. Boo's long lovely locks will require regular brushing to keep her looking and feeling fabulous. ONYX is management. You are staff. We just want to make that clear. Beautiful Onyx is stunning longhaired black cat looking for a home. He will be in charge of said home, of course. He is an absolute love of a kitty, around 18 months old. He's fostered with a well-trained dog and is doing very well. He likes to nap with his foster brother and cuddle with his foster mom. Onyx has lived with a cat in the past, and should be fine with a well balanced cat and a good introduction. His long lovely locks will need regular brushing to keep him looking and feeling fabulous. These adorable tabbies came in a litter of 5 and have been sitting in the shelter since the first week in July waiting their chance for a happy ending. If you have unfixed pets, please let us tell you about some great spay options. These siblings are super playful and have been exposed to dogs that have come to the spay clinic. If you are interested in adopting, please apply online and we will get back with you if it is a good fit as soon as we can get the information verified. With this litter, we need to verify microchips before leaving the store to make sure the right kitty/chip combination is registered.

PALLET is a stunning kitten looking for her furever home. She's fun and playful, loves toys and playing with other kitties. Pallet is probably 7-8 months old and on the petite side. Her striking beauty seems like equal parts Calico and Tortoiseshell. She needs a home where she will have another friendly, playful cat sibling and plenty of toys. Don't have another cat? Nod is a sweet boy hoping for his furrever home. He was born without eyes but navigates his world just fine. He is affectionate and loves to be cuddled. Sue Ellen was found as a stray with one older kitten. We feel that she was dumped because she is absolutely amazing and beautiful.

You just can’t ask for a cat any better than Gidget. She has been at the rescue almost 2 years and watches faithfully for a new person to come thinking. It may be her new mommy. She gets along well with all the other cats and dogs and recently has been decided that she’s tired of waiting and she wants to be a lap cat right meow. We realize most people want kittens but when you adopt a cat like Gidget, you get exactly what you’re looking for as her personal personality is already set and developed and she knows exactly what she wants.

Meet Solana, a darling little silver tabby with a big heart! Just over a year old, this slim little sweetheart is full of love and purrsonality. She'll come running to greet you at the door, shower you with kisses, and happily soak up all the affection you can give.

She will jump in your lap or bring you a toy to get you to play with her. She truly loves cuddles and attention.
When she's not busy playing or making friends with other cats, you can find Solana perched in her kitty window seat, enjoying the view, or curled up cozily in her favorite cuddler bed.

Marble - where to begin? Someone took her to a shelter - pregnant - but the shelter would not take her in. Someone in the lobby felt sorry for her and took her home.

Marble was in rough shape....all of her kittens died, probably because Marble was malnourished and too young.

We stumbled upon the situation and offered to get several of the people's cats fixed...but when we got Marble home, we realized she was in no condition to have surgery! She was only 4 1/2 pounds! The family agreed to surrender her so we could give her the medical attention she needed.

HYPE is a big beautiful orange and white boy with a gentle soul. He's simply delightful, he loves people and other kitties, toys and cat trees. Hype is about 2 years old and tips the scales at 14 pounds. He was recently returned to us when his people were no longer able to care for him. We cannot say enough good things about Hype, he's a volunteer favorite. Hype has always lived with another cat and is best suited to a home with another friendly feline. He previously lived with Madam President, a lovely female tuxedo cat, also available for adoption. Tommy is a very sweet boy who was born approx May 15 2026. He spent a couple of months waiting for a good foster home so he is still a little bit confused by being in a house but he really wants some pets and cuddles and gives a good motor. He enjoys playing with the other kittens in his foster home, especially Pepita. Her confidence is helping him to understand that everything is a-ok.

Tommy has been spayed and is up to date on his vaccines. FIV/FeLV negative. Adoption fee $75 or $125 to adopt in a pair with Pepita.

Duchess is truly a regal beauty. This royal lady was brought in by caring FEMA employees while they were working in Hazzard, KY. They wanted to make sure she could live the life of luxury that she deserves. Duchess is a Queenly lady and definitely expects to be the head of her house. She is good with other kittys and respectful dogs as long as they understand that she is the ruler of her household. A very gentle and loving lady who expects to be treated with loving respect.

Ollie is not too much of a lap kitty, but he is super sweet and absolutely full of energy. He has some of that orange gene in there and is full on. He will need fur friend to stay busy with.

The “Car Parts” kittens were found in a garage and have been fostered in a home with large dogs. They are very dog friendly and often use the dogs as springboards and obstacles for their parkour! They love toys, food, and attention.
