1. Oliver
Young (2 years 5 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Hi, I’m Oliver! I’m a 2½-year-old guy looking for a special person who understands that some of us need a little extra time to feel comfortable. New environments can be pretty overwhelming for me, and being handled isn’t really my thing just yet.
The good news is that I’m making progress! My foster parents have been patient and respectful of my boundaries, and I’m beginning to enjoy some gentle pets. I may still hiss when I feel nervous, but that’s just my way of saying I need a little space.
Read more about Oliver
I would thrive in a quiet, low-key home without children or lots of commotion, where I can settle in at my own pace and build trust without pressure. I may not be the kind of cat who greets you with a cuddle right away, but with patience, kindness, and a little understanding, I hope to discover just how wonderful a loving home can be. Could you be the person willing to give me that chance?

Young (1 year 5 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Hi, I’m Henry! I’m a 1½-year-old big boy with an even bigger heart, and I’m looking for a loving home where I can settle in and feel safe. I’m a total sweetheart who starts purring as soon as the pets begin! New places can make me a little unsure at first, but with some time and patience, my affectionate side shines through.

I would love a home with plenty of toys to chase, bat around, and keep me entertained. I came to the rescue with my dad, Oliver, and while we could find a home together, we’re also happy to find our own families. Whether I’m joining a home with Oliver or becoming your one and only, I can’t wait to find my special place to call home!

3. Tigrillo
Adult (8 years) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

TIGRILLO HAS A BROKEN HEART and by that, we mean he has a grade 4 heart murmur.
At 7 years old, Tigrillo has a ticker that isn't working quite right, and unfortunately, we don't have a crystal ball to tell us what that means for his future.
It might be his normal, and he could have another 10 years ahead of him. Or his condition could progress, and we might have far less time. We wish we knew. We really do.
But here's the good news.
If his condition progresses, our vet says daily medication may help manage it and give him the longest, best life possible. And those medications aren't expensive.
Read more about Tigrillo
And then there's the other thing you should know about Tigrillo - his ticker might be defective, but his capacity to love is not.
This boy is a GRADE FIVE PURR kind of guy. He's got soft fur, movie-star looks, tiny little mews, slow blinkies, and a serious appreciation for lap time. He's an enthusiastic snacker who loves both crunchies and wet food, and he'll happily engage you in a game with his favorite wand toy when he's not busy being lovable.
He gets along with other cats who respect his personal space (apparently, that feeling is mutual). But when it's time for human affection? Sorry, folks. This lap is reserved. Tigrillo doesn't believe in splitting that love with other cats, and frankly, we respect his undivided commitment.
We haven't seen him with dogs or children yet, so we can't speak to how he'd do with them.
Here's the thing about adopting a cat like Tigrillo.
We can't promise you how many years you'll have together. But we can promise that a heart murmur ' .
Tigrillo is seven years of handsome, affectionate, purring perfection, and he's still got so much love to give.
He's not looking for forever to be guaranteed. He's just hoping for someone to share it with.
Do you have enough love in your heart for Tigrillo?

11. Trudy
Kitten (7 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Tortoiseshell (short coat)

Can I tell you how much I LOVE Trudy?!
When I come home from work she's so happy to see me. I have to pay the Trudy love tax!
Trudy is such a pretty Tortie with beautiful flecks of pumpkin and cream and white. She's veeery long with a very looong, expressive tail. At 7 months, she's older than her siblings and twice as big.
Trudy will shower you with love, but she calls the shots. She wants to be with you, but she doesn't want to be smothered.
Trudy is very social and she wants to live with another young cat who would enjoy her company. She'd be a great match with a number of her brothers. (see their bios on our website!)

Like her brothers, she's great with other cats, dogs and kids. She's healthy physically and emotionally and litter trained without incident.
She tested negative for both FIV and feline leukemia and has received age appropriate vaccinations including rabies & FVRCP. She is spayed and microchipped.

12. Pablo
Kitten (5 months 28 days) · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Bengal / Mixed (short coat)

Meet Pablo - 6 month old brother to Coven and 5 month old Herman who are equal parts chaos, cuteness and cuddles. (you can find their photos in their bios)
Pablo is a Bengal mix with beautiful stripes and spots and remarkable black eyeliner around his eyes. He's the most independent and the most intense lover - headbutts and full body rubs!
Read more about Pablo
His brother Coven is also a Bengal mix, but he is all black except for a small white patch on his chest. And he has the most striking golden eyes! He's the most adventuresome - the first to explore behind the couch and climb the cabinets. And he's the most affectionate. Always wanting to be in your lap for sweet pets and purrs.
Their foster brother Herman is the smallest of the bunch, but he has the BIGGEST PURR! The moment he sees you his motor starts humming. He's the perfect balance of the group - fun and affectionate, and sweet as can be.
All three are well-adjusted, love people, cats, dogs & kids. They're healthy physically and emotionally and are litter trained without incident.
All tested negative for both FIV and feline leukemia. They have received all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies & FVRCP. They are neutered and microchipped.
We'd love to see them adopted in any combination. Adopt all three - or adopt any 2 together. If you adopt one, we'd like them to have another young feline companion who would love their joyful, energetic company.

22. Freddy
Adult · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed

Reintroducing Freddy! ❤️Freddy was quite the character during his time at our shelter! His behavior could be a little on-and-off, and he was known for the occasional nibble or two. But underneath it all was a smart, playful boy who simply needed someone willing to understand him and work with him.Freddy had his own special team who worked with him every few days through treat training, teaching him to sit, stay, and wait. They also worked with him on getting into his cage/suite each evening using positive reinforcement. Freddy was on a special urinary diet and needed separate living quarters, although he would have much rather been out playing and interacting with the other cats!Three years ago, Freddy found a wonderful adopter who continued his training and helped him thrive in a home environment.
Read more about Freddy
❤️ Unfortunately, over the last several months, his adopter has had to work long 12-hour shifts, leaving Freddy home alone for much of the day.Freddy is the type of cat who needs a little extra playtime, attention, and enrichment. With so much time alone, he has become lonely and is in need of a new situation where his social and playful personality can shine. Freddy would like a home with someone who's home a lot or with a cat companion!Freddy has come a long way, and we know there is someone out there who will appreciate this special boy for exactly who he is. ❤️ He needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to continue giving him the structure, training, playtime, and love he deserves.Freddy is currently in a foster home, where he is being loved and cared for while he waits for his next forever home. Because of his unique needs and history, an approved adoption application is required to meet Freddy. If you think Freddy could be your guy, please submit an adoption application and reach out to learn more about him! 23. Eartha Kitty
Young (2 years 1 month) · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Eartha is a cat who will absolutely adore you!
She's a beautiful 2 yr old tuxedo girl who lost her left eye as a kitten and has very limited vision in her remaining eye.
But Eartha didn’t get the memo that she was supposed to let that slow her down. Once she learns her surroundings, she gets around surprisingly well - and she LOVES life..
And most of all, she loves her people. She’s affectionate, cuddly, social and happiest when she’s being held, sitting on a lap or stretched out beside you getting pets.
She’ll need scratching posts and some consistency. In return? You get Eartha. And we think that’s a pretty spectacular deal.

Adopting a cat in Seneca County
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
