This is a cat who knows how to relax and how to love, and he’s definitely ready to break out of his condo and into a real home.Cats’ story makes him even more endearing. He was picked up during a TNR project after he wandered over to a colony when he heard there was free food. He’s an eater through and through—pâté, gravy, he doesn’t care. When it’s nom-nom time, he’s happy. His enthusiasm for a good meal just adds to his big, lovable personality.Social, friendly, and sporting striking green eyes, Cats Domino is the full package: looks, charm, and a heart that’s ready to bond. We are still in Puerto Rico. Will you take us home? Send a message to the page to ask about adopting us!Zanisfurryfriends.org

Meet Honey & Buns! Honey and Buns are a brother-and-sister duo who are as sweet as they come! These social, friendly kittens are full of playful energy and always seem to be on the move. One minute they are zooming around the house chasing toys, and the next they are completely passed out together for a cozy kitten nap. There is truly no in-between!

11. Rue

Adult · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed · 4 mi from White Plains

Birthdate: 02/16/2023Breed: One of a kindRUE would like to thank you all for your patience, but wants you to know....she's ready to love again!! Coming a long way from Puerto Rico to find her forever home, she had the toughest time of all her El Faro friends at feeling at home here. Perhaps because she's a sensitive, gentle girl, the transition from the only home she'd ever known proved to be a difficult one. We all know that fear even for humans can leave us emotionally on shaky ground, and it's really no different for cats. So we waited. Rue went to a foster home briefly that we think jump started some changes.

Since her return to our cat room, we've watched her watching us in a different way. We held our breath. We hoped.Just the other day, the inner Rue (who we knew was just below the surface) emerged in a way that fills our hearts. She is flirty, she is chatty (chirping up a storm) and she insists that you pet her! It's as if her heart and soul are finally feeling safe enough to show us her love! We celebrate it all! This is why we never give up on an animal. Our show-stopping beauty queen has been so worth the wait! The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! 12. Polly Pocket

Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed · 4 mi from White Plains

Birthdate: 11/17/2025Breed: One of a kindPolly Pocket is one of a kind! She will quickly steal the heart of anyone that meets her. She is a chatty little girl who will chirp when you come in the room - her way of saying hi! She might not come up to you right away, but give her a second and she'll be rolling over ready for pets and love. Sweet Polly was born outside and cared for by a good samaritan who realized that it was time for her and her siblings to find their forever homes. We are so grateful that we get to be part of this special kitty's life.Polly has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus).

Read more about Polly Pocket

FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, PCAR provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Polly is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact us.Polly Pocket is currently in a foster home. Bringing a cat home to your dog

Tell the rescue about your dog: their size, age and energy. A cat who has lived with a calm dog may still be nervous around a bouncy puppy.

Introduce them slowly. Keep the cat in a room of their own for the first few days, swap bedding so they get used to each other's scent, and then let them meet with the dog on a leash.

Make sure the cat can always get somewhere the dog can't reach, and keep the litter box and food bowls out of the dog's way.
