Lovely long-haired beauty BOO is a gentle girl looking for a new home to call her own. She's about 5 years old and currently 11 pounds. Boo was adopted from SDHR as a kitten back in 2022 and recently returned. Changes in her home over time, including the arrival of a new baby and the loss of her canine companions proved too stressful for Boo so we agreed to take her back and find her a home environment where she can thrive. She needs a quiet adult-only home. She lived with 2 dogs who were her dear companions and their passing broke her heart. Boo is ideally suited to a home where she will have a friendly canine or feline companion. She needs a patient adopter who will help her settle in to her new life. Marble - where to begin? Someone took her to a shelter - pregnant - but the shelter would not take her in. Someone in the lobby felt sorry for her and took her home.

Marble was in rough shape....all of her kittens died, probably because Marble was malnourished and too young.

We stumbled upon the situation and offered to get several of the people's cats fixed...but when we got Marble home, we realized she was in no condition to have surgery! She was only 4 1/2 pounds! The family agreed to surrender her so we could give her the medical attention she needed.
