1. Midnight
Young · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 13 mi from Pittsburgh

Meet Midnight! At around 4 months old and about 4 pounds, MIdnight was terrified when she first came into rescue. She didn’t know people could be kind. But with a little patience, lots of love, and plenty of tasty meals, this brave little girl is transforming. These days, Midnight is learning to love pets and belly rubs from her big brothers Macaroni and Felix and is starting to grasp the idea of being a lovable lap kitty. Lickable treats are out of this world with her and it is helping her build trust. She loves chasing string toys with all the enthusiasm only a kitten can have. She’s playful, curious, and proving she’s ready to make some feline friends in her forever home.

Because Midnight grew up outside, she may be a little shy when she first arrives home, but don’t let that fool you—behind those cautious eyes is a loving little soul. She is looking for her forever people/person. Give her a little time, and you’ll be rewarded with a loyal best friend who will fill your home with purrs, biscuits, and endless love. Midnight has already overcome so much in her short little life (we think around 6 months old). Now all she needs is a family to show her that she’ll never have to be scared again. Could that family be yours?

4. Wisha
Young · Female · Domestic Medium Hair (long coat) · 13 mi from Pittsburgh

Wisha—a young, long-haired beauty—is sweet, chatty, playful, and affectionate. She loves adventure, is very outgoing, and exudes a positive energy that is contagious. Most of all, Wisha is everything her name represents.Hailing from Ireland, the name “Wisha” (wee-sha) is an old-school interjection used to express surprise or excitement. It was originally a euphemism for “A Mhuire!” ("O Mary!") in calling upon the Virgin Mary. The word carries a rustic, folksy feel, and helps to break tension when reacting to a moment or sharing information. Wisha’s personality easily gels with her name’s origin.
Read more about Wisha
She was nothing short of a surprise when she showed up outside of an office building parking lot as a skinny stray cat! A couple of months later, Wisha continues to live up to her name; her vivacious energy when she chases her toys, her chatty nature when she talks to her humans, and her silly and unexpected antics certainly ease tension while keeping you on your toes.Meanwhile, Wisha (wish-a) also means “hope” in Sanskrit, which is equally fitting: she was skinny, injured, and desperate when she was found, but in just a few weeks, she became healthy, clean, and ready for fun. That’s a character arc that captures “hope” pretty well!Wisha is intensely (and hilariously) playful, enjoying ripping around at full speed in pursuit of her “prey” on wand toys. She would do best in a single-cat household with an active family who can give her lots of attention, excitement, and enrichment. She loves all people and is very gentle with humans…including little humans! If you’re looking for an unexpected surprise (or perhaps a burst of hope), why not bring Wisha into your family?

Breakfast is officially the most important meal of the day... and this adorable crew is guaranteed to be the best part of yours!Introducing The Breakfast Club—six irresistible 12-week-old tuxedo kittens who are overflowing with personality, snuggles, and enough energy to keep your home smiling from sunrise to sunset. The girls: Donut, Muffin, Avocado Toast, and Maple The boys: Jimmy Dean and Shortstack These little breakfast buddies were found when they were just 10 days old, living outside with several mama cats. It truly took a village to raise them!Tiny Mama French Toast—who weighs only 5 pounds and looks like a kitten herself—amazingly helped nurse all six babies.
Read more about French Toast
She's the friendliest of the mama crew and loves having her head scratched. She is not a fan of being picked up, though, so she'd be better off without little kids in the home. Her baby, Maple, follows her around like a shadow. They would make a great adopted pair! Sweet Mama Mimosa happily shared mom duties, while Mama Hashbrown pitched in too, despite being a shy girl who prefers life behind the scenes. Protective Daddy Pancake watched over his little family, cuddling and playing with the kittens every chance he got. He's still a bit bashful and went with Hashbrown to a barn placement. And then there's Aunt Cheerio, who became everyone's favorite cuddle buddy. The kittens still pile up on her like she's their second mama. Cheerio is a very sweet cat who purrs like crazy with pets. She's a little shy at first but has blossomed with her patient foster mom. Cheerio so enjoys hanging with all the other cats in her room. Their story didn't start out easy. All 28 cats rescued from the property were battling coccidia when they arrived. Thanks to lots of love, lots of expensive vet bills and full bellies, every one of them is now healthy, thriving, and enjoying the good life they always deserved.Because these babies came into foster care so young, they absolutely adore people. They don't just like attention—they crave it! Whether they're curled up in your lap, purring in your arms, or racing around the house like a bunch of Energizer bunnies, life is one big breakfast buffet of fun.Like any growing kittens, they're wonderfully playful, so they must be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young, playful cat. They cannot be a single kitten in a household. The good news? Any combination of these six makes the perfect recipe! And while you're meeting the Breakfast Club, don't forget the rest of this unforgettable brunch bunch!Granola and Oatmeal, two gorgeous tortie girls, may look like kittens but are actually young adults with stunning coats and sweet personalities that blossom more every day.Toast Malone is exactly as cool as his name suggests. He's the laid-back king of the breakfast table and the group's biggest ladies' man. You'll usually find him cuddled up with Oatmeal, Granola, Cheerio... or, if he's really living his best life, all three at once! And sweet Bailey reminds us why rescue is so rewarding. He arrived frightened and full of hisses, but once he realized people could be trusted, he transformed into one of the sweetest boys around.Although some of this crew never adjusted to indoor life, they happily transitioned to life on a farm. Bacon, Latte, Mimosa, Lady Marmalade, Fruit Loop, Strudel, and Hashbrown are all living their best life in pairs at amazing farms around the Pittsburgh area. This incredible breakfast family has overcome so much together, and now they're all ready for the happiest chapter yet—a forever home where they'll never have to worry about another meal, another cuddle, or another sunrise alone.So... who's ready to start every morning with breakfast and a side of purrs?

13. Sullivan
Young · Male · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 13 mi from Pittsburgh

From a woodpile to your window sill — meet Sullivan!About a year ago, Sullivan's story started in a woodpile — not exactly five-star kitten accommodations. Now he's safe, healthy, and ready for the real upgrade: his own forever family.Sullivan is a total sweetheart once he knows you — he's talkative (get ready for some real conversations), playful, and loves being pet by his people. He's not a lap cat or a fan of being held, but he'll happily hang out nearby and soak up attention on his own terms. He's currently sharing his foster home with 4 other cats, and honestly, he'd do great either as an only cat or with one good playmate to keep him entertained. If you've got a soft spot for a handsome grey guy with a lot to say and a big heart (even if he's not a snuggler), Sullivan is ready to meet you.

Why adopt an adult cat in Pittsburgh
An adult cat's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are used to family life.
Grown cats are calmer and need less supervision than kittens, which suits people who work long hours or have young children.
