Meet Tiger!
Tiger is a sweet, trusting, little guy with a big heart and an adorable personality! His estimated date of birth is 10/5/2025. Poor Tiger was found in a neighborhood and appears to be a dumped pet since so friendly. Sadly, no one ever claimed him.
He adjusts quickly to new surroundings and seems to take life in stride, making him a wonderful candidate for a loving forever home.
One of Tiger’s sweetest qualities is how he reaches out for affection from his foster mom. When he’s feeling comfortable and content, he makes the cutest little air biscuits!

He also seems very relaxed around other animals, which may suggest he has experience being around other pets. His easygoing nature and ability to settle into new surroundings are just a few of the things that make him so special.
Tiger is ready to find a family who will give him the love, security, and happily-ever-after he deserves. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy his forever home? ❤️

13. Frank Sinatra
Adult (5 years 5 months) · Male · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 10 mi from Skippack

Frank Sinatra is handsome fella rescued from the streets after a very hard life, having to scramble for food, protect himself, etc. The person feeding the strays never had enough food for all, so they had to fight for food. Extremely sad. He was a little rough around the edges when he came to his foster home, had to learn he’d always have food, love, kindness and to feel safe. He has a crinkled ear likely from and old hematoma or ear mites. His foster home said he loves

to be brushed, loves to lay near you. He lays by his foster Dad’s feet in bed with him. He loves to talk and always wants to be where his person is. Likes to play with the kitty wand, his interactive play mat, toy mice loves looking out the window to watch the birds & squirrels. We don’t know how he is with other cats, probably best if he is an only cat, as he wasn’t particularly fond of the cats outdoors, likely because of the lack of food and having to fight for it. He’s being fostered in a separate area of the home, as his foster family has other cats. His foster family says he is probably the sweetest guy they’ve ever had. He is at least 5 years old, neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated, dewormed and can be microchipped prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $125. If you’d love to give this fella the forever home he’s always dreamed about and deserves, please email katymk@ptd.net and complete the adoption application at the link below:

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED FOE THIS SENIOR KITTY!
Read more about Brownie
Brownie was found as a stray, terribly emaciated. Help was urgently needed, so we stepped up to cover her vet visit, as her finders could not afford that. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is trying to come back from that being untreated. She is under our vet for care, doing well and slowly gaining weight. She is estimated to be at least 10 years old. She is FeLV/FIV negative and vaccinated. If you can open your heart and home to this sweet, senior gal that was tossed out by someone, please email katymk@ptd.net and complete the below online application. She is looking for a home she can retire in and be spoiled like she has never been before. A foster with a room for her even is appreciated, as she needs more space and someone with time to spend loving her. She’s a sweetheart!

How to adopt from Animal Coalition of Delaware County, Inc.
We believe in an adoption approach that considers important details for finding the right fit, such as a person's home, interests and lifestyle. We then match those with an animal's social, exercise and training needs. Unlike “pass/fail” application programs, we strive to match people and animals through education and discovery. We accomplish this through conversation to create an effective, pleasant adoption experience — and most important — to make lasting matches. Each situation, adopter and animal requires a different approach. And while we reserve the right to refuse an adoption, we always make every effort to work with you to address concerns or find the most appropriate companion animal. Before falling in love with one of our animals, please make sure that you are: At least 21 years of age In possession of a valid photo ID Allowed to have a cat or dog where you live (proof of home ownership or copy of lease with pet clause allowing pets is required) Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal Able to provide veterinary references for current and past veterinarians PLEASE ALLOW 4-5 BUSINESS DAYS FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO BE THOROUGHLY PROCESSED BY ONE OF OUR ADOPTION COUNSELORS If the animals are still listed on our website they are still available. Adopting a cat in Skippack
Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.
Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.
Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
