1. Ringo Willow Grove Area

Kitten · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Tuxedo / Mixed (short coat)

Ringo is an adorable black-and-white tuxedo kitten with an approximate date of birth of June 29. She gets her name from the cute little white ring around one of her back legs!
Ringo was trapped with her feral mama, who wanted nothing to do with her. Luckily, Ringo was taken in and bottle-fed, so she is very comfortable around people and has grown into an extremely sweet, loving little girl.
This girl is full of personality and loves to run around and have a good time! She enjoys playing with plastic springs and carrying her catnip toys around like little treasures. If you're sitting down, don't be surprised if Ringo climbs right onto you—and then decides your head is something fun to bite! She also has a talent for sleeping in the craziest positions imaginable, and she may even snuggle up with you in bed at night.
Ringo later met Screech and Cannoli, two boys who are also looking for their forever homes, and she quickly became one of the gang! Even though the boys are twice her size and sometimes play a little rough, Ringo can definitely hold her own.

She also has foster sisters closer to her size and absolutely loves playing with them, too.
With her sweet nature, playful spirit, and silly little antics, Ringo is sure to bring lots of love, laughter, and entertainment to her forever home.
Ringo is playing with her foster family. Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Thank you! (Foster: Rachael S.).

2. Lilac, Willow Grove PA 01/27/2026

Adult · Female · Siamese / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Lilac – Asthmatic - Traditional Siamese Mix
Lilac is affectionate and stunningly beautiful with thick, soft fur and blue eyes. She loves being brushed and petted. We have no idea how she became homeless, but she was living outside in a feral cat colony in Norristown PA. At the shelter, her breathing appeared labored. A veterinary exam with x-rays diagnosed asthma. She’s been closely observed in her foster home. Once she settled in, she no longer requires asthma medication. We haven’t determined what exacerbates her asthma. She tolerates, but doesn’t interact with, other cats. Unknown how she’d be with a dog. She needs a stable home life. Her adopter should be prepared to treat for asthma as needed.

Meet Chai Latte!
As beautiful and comforting as her name, Chai Latte is a gorgeous 2-year-old girl with stunning swirls of warm, rich Autumn colors. She is a biscuit maker and such a love bug

8. Lunessa, Willow Grove, PA

Senior · Female · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Lunessa -
Meet sweet gentle Lunessa, found living outside emaciated. Beautiful, gentle, white & black cow pattern. Estimated to be approx 10 years old. Initially she was very shy, stayed at the back of the cage. We can only guess about her past, but no doubt she had home at one time. She has really come out of her shell. She loves pets and affection and will indicate that she wants attention and pets by gently coming up to you and extending her head towards you. She is such a sweet girl and will definitely be a wonderful, affectionate friend to someone.
Given her age and quiet nature I think she would do best in a quiet home, either as an only cat or with another gentle cat.

9. Van Gogh

Adult · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Van Gogh (FeLV+) - Your Handsome Little House Panther!

This sleek, shiny black bundle of cuteness is a total purr bug! At 1–2 years old, Van Gogh is a loving, laid-back boy who adores snuggling close to his foster mom. His gentle nature brings a sense of calm wherever he goes, but don't let that relaxed personality fool you — he has a playful side, too!

One of Van Gogh's very favorite things is playtime with his fellow FeLV+ friends, Matisse and Picasso. These 3 boys enjoy each other's company and would all love a home where they can feel safe, loved, and cherished.

Read more about Van Gogh

Van Gogh has tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV). FeLV is a virus that affects a cat's immune system and can make them more susceptible to certain illnesses. Although there is currently no cure, many FeLV+ cats can enjoy a good quality of life with proper care, regular veterinary visits, and lots of love.

FeLV is spread primarily through close contact between cats, therefore Van Gogh should live with other FeLV+ cats or as the only cat in the home. He has not been around dogs to our knowledge, but he may do well with a cat-friendly pup if introductions are slow and appropriate.

This sweet boy deserves a loving home where he can snuggle, play, and enjoy life to the fullest. Please don't let his FeLV+ status overshadow the wonderful companion he can be!

Van Gogh and his FeLV+ friends, Matisse and Picasso, are playing with their foster family. Please ask about them!

20. Cannoli

Kitten · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Meet Cannoli!
Cannoli is an approximately 6-month-old sweetheart who was trapped in North Philadelphia alongside his brothers, Creampuff and Strudel. After spending some time in foster care, his brothers decided they were happiest living outdoors and were TNR’d. Cannoli, however, had other plans—and he quickly made it clear that he was very happy to be an indoor cat!
Cannoli is extremely sweet, curious, and absolutely adorable. He has the cutest, most pathetic little meow… although it barely makes a sound! He loves looking out windows, especially when they’re open and he can enjoy all the interesting sights and smells.
When he’s not busy playing, Cannoli can often be found curled up asleep in something round, whether it’s a cardboard scratcher, a cat tree, or anything else that looks suitably cozy.
Cannoli is fostered with other cats and loves feline companionship.

Read more about Cannoli

He was understandably a little lost when his brothers left, but he quickly bonded with his foster buddy, Screech. The two love grooming each other, running around, and wrestling together. Since Screech’s siblings had already been adopted, Cannoli became a wonderful friend and playmate for him.
While it would be wonderful if Cannoli and Screech could find a home together, it is not a requirement. They enjoy each other’s company but aren’t glued to each other, so Cannoli could also thrive in a home with another friendly cat.
If you’re looking for a sweet, curious little guy with a quiet meow and a big personality, Cannoli may be your perfect match!

Young · Female · Extra-Toes Cat (Hemingway Polydactyl) / Tabby / Mixed (short coat)

Lap Cat Alert! Meet Melissa - Polydactyl, all 4 paws!
Beautiful Melissa is a 2-year-old brown and white tabby with the most adorable big polydactyl paws and an even bigger heart.
From the moment Melissa was found, it was clear that she was comfortable with people and had likely been someone’s pet until very recently. She was incredibly outgoing and friendly right from the start, showing none of the hesitation you might expect from a cat who had spent her life outdoors. Sadly, everything about her suggested that this sweet girl had been recently abandoned and suddenly found herself without a home.

Read more about Melissa, Willow Grove PA FCID/24/2026-154

Melissa's best friend is Marci, and the girls have become bonded. However, Melissa should be adopted into a home with another cat as she really enjoys the company of other felines.
Despite what happened to her, Melissa hasn’t lost an ounce of trust in people. She is extremely affectionate, loves attention, and is a true lap cat who is happiest curled up close to her human. She’s also wonderfully social with other cats and seems to make friends wherever she goes.
And then there are those paws! Melissa is polydactyl, giving her wonderfully oversized little “mittens” that only add to her charm.
Melissa clearly knows what it means to be loved. Now she deserves a family who will make sure she never has to wonder where she belongs again.

Meet our gorgeous Molly, a beautiful young girl with the most striking green eyes. Before being rescued from life on the streets, Molly was already a young mom, lovingly raising a litter of kittens. Now that her babies are cared for, it’s Molly’s turn to be someone’s baby.
Molly's story according to her rescuer,
"I was in an unfamiliar area when I spotted a very pregnant cat who immediately caught my attention. She had numerous scratches on her head and body and was clearly very hungry, yet despite everything she had been through, she was incredibly sweet and friendly.I soon realized there was a small colony of cats living beneath an abandoned car.

27. Comet w/Rocket, Jenkintown PS

Kitten · Male · Tabby (short coat)

Meet Comet & Rocket!
Comet and Rocket (FCID 8/5/2026-156) are approximately 5-months old gray tabby brothers who are as sweet and playful as they come! These handsome boys are bonded, and they do just about everything together — playing, wrestling, cuddling, and keeping each other entertained.
They look almost exactly alike and even share the same wonderful personalities. They are affectionate boys who love attention and enjoy interacting with the resident cats in their foster home. They would be happiest finding a home together where they can continue being best buddies.
Rocket had a serious eye infection when he was just a couple of weeks old.

Read more about Comet w/Rocket, Jenkintown PS

His foster family lovingly treated him, but unfortunately, he was left with a small scar on his eye that did not completely heal. Otherwise, Rocket is a happy, healthy kitten, and his eye does not stop him from doing what he loves most — playing and wrestling with his brother!
Comet and Rocket get along wonderfully with the other cats in their foster home. With a proper, gradual introduction, they should also do well with dogs and children.
These two sweet brothers have so much love and fun to give. If you're looking for a pair of affectionate, playful kittens, Comet and Rocket may be the perfect match!
Adopt Comet and Rocket together and give these bonded brothers the forever home they deserve!
Comet and Rocket were playing with their foster family. They are now playing in our Jenkintown PetSmart adoption center with Moon and Star while awaiting your visit.

29. Odysseus Willow Grove PS

Young · Male · Tuxedo (short coat)

Meet the amazing Odysseus or we like to call him Odie for short! He is an adult black and white male with limited vision in his left eye. We think he is about 3-4 yrs old. Odie is also FIV Positive, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from enjoying everything life has to offer! He is a loving, happy guy with a wonderful spirit and a zest for life. His partial blindness is due to large corneal scar on his left eye and a small corneal scar on his right but this doesn’t define him and can still see out of both. He navigates his world with confidence and curiosity, and he’s always ready for attention, affection, and a cozy place to call home.

He’s proof that a few extra challenges don’t keep a big heart from shining!!
Did you know that cats with FIV can live long, happy lives? FIV-positive cats can enjoy many wonderful years with the right care, love, and regular veterinary checkups. They can also live peacefully with other cats in the same home, particularly when the cats get along and there is little risk of serious fighting.
Odie is a gentle soul who absolutely loves people of all ages and enjoys the company of other cats. He currently lives with several feline friends and an extra-large dog. While Odie is a little timid around the extra-large house dog because she’s loud, he does wonderfully with the cats and is always happy to spend time with his favorite people. Odie may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, his sweet personality shines through. He’s a loving, easygoing boy who would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a special companion.
Odie is good with: Children: Absolutely. Cats: Yes. Dogs: Yes but timid with loud dogs but coexists. - Neutered. - FeLV: Neg; FIV: Pos. - Litter Trained. - Up to date on all shots. - Flea preventative.

Adopting a cat in Montgomery County

Most rescues ask you to fill in an application, meet the cat, and pay an adoption fee that usually covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip. Many are foster-based, so you'll often meet your cat in a volunteer's home rather than a shelter.

Senior cats are often the calmest companions and the slowest to find homes. If you'd like a settled, affectionate cat, ask the rescues about their older residents.

Kittens go quickly, especially in spring and summer. If you've fallen for one, contact the rescue soon, and think about adopting two: young cats keep each other company and out of mischief.
