Mamacita is a sweet girl who loves pets and allows you to hold her although she can get kinda fidgety. She prefers you talk to her while she eats. She has the most beautiful coat and eyes to match. Mamacita was a friendly neighborhood stray who had produced a litter of kittens as a teen mom. She raised them and someone in the neighborhood decided she was just too friendly to live the life of an unowned community cat so here she is with us looking for her forever home....safe, warm and never again wondering where her next meal was or worrying about predators and freezing to death. Mamacita is interested in what is on the other side of that door or window screen so her new family will need to be very cautious around open windows and doors.

Hi, my name is Sweet Pea. I’m a 5-year-old seal-point Siamese who had a pretty rough life so far. My mom died and my dad didn’t want me any more. He put me outside and I was living under the porch where I got into a tussle with something. I’m not sure what, but it bit me on the shoulder and it really hurt. It got infected, which hurt even more. At least my dad took me to the vet, but he left me there. I think that was for the best because the vet’s office was so nice. Everyone there petted me and loved on me and called SARG to rescue me! Now I’m in foster care looking for my forever home.
Things you should know about me: I love making biscuits, rubbing up against my person, and I’m quick to purr.

Saltine is one incredible kitten! She is so brave and sweet. Really not scared of much and loves to play. She will definitely keep you entertained. And she’s super affectionate. She will follow you around and loves to be picked up and carried, and will cuddle in your lap and purr loudly. Be careful because she will steal your heart and just a matter of seconds. She’s so lovable! Cheez-It and Saltine would love to go together or with another one of their siblings! There were 7 kittens raised by their amazing mama kitty. Two kittens are always better than one and twice the fun!Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Wheat Thin, Goldfish, Graham, Ritz, Saltine and Cheez-It or visit them during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, 12-4pm on Saturday.

Queen is a shy, gentle girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She absolutely loves pets, but she's a little unsure at first and needs some time to decide if she can trust you. Don't let her nervousness fool you—Queen isn't mean at all! She's just a timid girl who needs a little patience, a gentle touch, and someone willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. When she hears her brother Zeppelin purring, she has to come see what she is missing out on. Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Queen and Zeppelin or visit them during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, 12-4pm on Saturday.

Zepplin is a sweet little boy with a gentle soul and a heart full of love! He may be a little timid when you first meet him, but give him a little time and his sweet personality starts to shine. He warms up quickly and will reward you with the loudest, happiest purrs! Then he wants to climb all over you to get more of your attention.Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Zeppelin and his sister Queen or visit them during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, 12-4pm on Saturday. Hi everyone, this is Raj!
Raj is a regal, sleek, polydactyl cat, who loves nothing more than a scratch under the chin and a toy to play with. She is incredible pest control, and she loves catching every bug that might enter her domain. She is vocal and isn’t afraid to speak her mind! Although she uses her voice to ask for pets, she is independent and doesn’t yowl for attention or late at night. She has befriended a dog in her home, and would do well in a home with either dogs or other cats.

Meet Aries!
Aries is known for being the bravest of the zodiacs, and this kitten certainly lives up to her name! She is the first to walk into a new situation with curiosity. She’s spunky, outgoing, loves being pet, snuggling up on a lap for nap time, is playful, and has the cutest meow you ever did hear. She would do great in a home with children and other pets. She also is great at pest control, and has freed her foster mom’s house of any bugs that sneak through the crack under the door.

Meet Slinky! She is a sweet girl who loves a good pet, and will prove it with her strong purr, and sing-song meows. She is a little shy at first, but once acquainted with someone, is very loving and will come lay on your lap anytime you sit down. Slinky loves other cats, and would probably do best in a home with other cats, since she follows her sisters around everywhere! She has a lot to say, and says it proudly! She is the reason her mother, aunt, and sisters were all rescued in the dark forests of the Smoky Mountains. She used her strong voice to draw attention to the crew. Not only is she sweet, she's also a hero!

Everyone, this is Bonsai!

Meet Burdock!
Burdock is named after the seeds that stick to your clothes when you walk by- the seed that inspired the famous velcro design! She absolutely loves to snuggle, especially under the blanket while you are hanging out on the couch. She is playful, loves her sisters and would likely get along with other cats, and attaches quickly to whatever human is in her vicinity.

She would do well in a home with a family who loves giving love.

Meet Benny
He is almost 6mths old orange tabby, neutered and up to date on shots. He loves to play with leaves, other kitties and dogs as well. He pays no mind to my free range chickens when he is outside. He loves the outdoors as much as he loves coming inside, getting cuddles and just chilling. He is litter box trained and enjoys sleeping on the bed!

Calling all Tortie lovers!
Baby Ester is my newest trash to treasure rescue. She is litterbox trained and has had her first round of shots, dewormer, and flea treatment. Spay will be scheduled. She is approximately four months old and weighed 3.4 lbs about a month ago.

Ester is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. She is very social and plays well with other kitties. She is also very docile and nurturing to smaller cats. She has been exposed to a large dog but prefers to stay away.

Kennet, with his lovely marble markings, is a sweet boy who is equal parts play and snuggle! Be ready for a cuddle buddy at night. He loves his toys and scratching posts. He has some experience around dogs and is good with other cats. He has been hanging out with other kittens recently and has done well with them. When Kennet is first loose in a new space, he will be very aloof and run if you approach but in a small space, he loves to be pet very much. If you start him out in a small space and build his trust with you there and then give him more freedom in the home, you will be much more successful with him.

Bongo has the sweetest soul and a gentle nature. She's a little more reserved than her foster kitten friends, Betta and Tortellini, and initially preferred to watch the others play before joining in herself. But once she discovered just how much fun playtime could be, she hasn't wanted to stop! Her gentle personality and growing confidence make her especially endearing. Give her a little time to settle in (a couple days), and you'll get to watch her sweet personality shine as she discovers the joys of her forever home.Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Bongo or visit her during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm.

Martina is a playful, loving little kitty but she is more independent than her brother Mateo. She wants to run and play and explore. She gets curious about what her brother is doing with the human and she comes over to check it out. Mateo and Martina are sweet kittens who enjoy pets very much. They came to us nearly starving to death. A teen girl was trying to care for them the best she could in a crate in the backyard because her parents would not allow them in the home but they had no money for food either. So we saved them from that difficult situation, and they have been thriving after their recovery, dealing with the parasites and getting them well.

Daphne Daphne is one of the adorable tuxie girls from the Frasier and Friends litter! While her brothers have already been adopted, Daphne is still waiting for her forever family to find her. Could Daphne be the newest addition to your family? For more information on Daphne, send Jenn a text at 865-599-7304 and apply at maarcadopt.org/adoption-application

This sweet girl knows how to make an entrance: she'll greet you by brushing up against you and purring to say hello. When she's not busy charming her humans, Tortellini is off playing with her fellow foster kittens, Betta and Bongo. Ritz is a wild and crazy boy! He is the biggest of his litter and is full of playful energy, but when he finally runs out of steam he is a cuddle bunny and has the most wonderful purr. He is truly everything you want in a kitten! He needs to go with another kitten or he could get a little rough with his play. Two are always better than one, and it is beyond entaining to watch them wrestle and play then curl up together. Ritz is a good, extroverted guy and not scared of much. I think he would well in any home and could adapt to dogs, kids etc.Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Wheat Thin, Goldfish, Graham, Ritz, Saltine and Cheez-It or visit them during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, 12-4pm on Saturday.

Oh baby Goldfish! This little guy is a ball of fun and energy. He is a true orange tabby and a real comedian! He will keep you laughing and entertained with his crazy antics He crab walks, launches himself off of counters and tables and gets the kitty crazies a least once a day and races around like a maniac. But he is also very sweet and when he finally gets tired, he will curl up for a good nap by your side. He is all kitten and all boy, that's for sure, but he is pretty much perfect!
