1. Dhl
Young (8 months) · Female · Domestic Medium Hair · 2 mi from Conroe

DHL is a beautiful petite cat. She has already had a litter of 5 kittens, but has now been spayed to end that cycle of adding more kittens to the world. She is a bit timid and shy, but very trusting of her humans with a short adjustment time. Currently, she enjoys pets and scratches and with time, will end up a playful, loving lap cat. She has the softest, silky medium length fur with a cute short bobbed tail.

2. Ups
Young (8 months) · Male · Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · 2 mi from Conroe

UPS is young male with an even keeled personality. Currently, he is somewhat timid and shy and may take some time to get to know his human. He will eventually warm up and enjoy a good cheek scratch and reward you with the loudest purrs. I can see in his future of becoming the best lap cat.

Adult (1 year 8 months) · Female · Tabby / Tortoiseshell / Mixed (short coat) · 12 mi from Conroe

I think I would like to be an only child... but I can live with other kitties... you just gotta give me some time to adjust.
I love drinking straws... I will steal them from you; or you can just give me one.
I also love drinking from the faucet; just turn it on a little and I will take it from there!
Now that I don't have babies, I love to play with toys! Small bouncy balls are a favorite!
And I have a super cute orange tip on my tail! I tried really hard to be a tortoiseshell... but came out mostly a tabby... so I am a torbie!

13. Mamacita Margarita
Adult (1 year 6 months) · Female · Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · 12 mi from Conroe

Hi, I’m Mamacita Margarita, but my friends call me Margs! My story started when I was found at my foster mom’s coworker’s home, where I had given birth to my babies inside a wall. Unfortunately, there were termites in there with us, and when the exterminator needed to come, we had nowhere safe to stay. That’s when our foster mom stepped in and took my little family home with her. I’m an incredibly sweet and friendly young girl, but I’m also very shy. The funny thing is that I really, really want your affection. I’m just not immediately convinced that trusting you is a good idea. My foster mom says you can practically see the debate happening on my face.

I want to come out. I want the pets. I want the love. But are you trustworthy? Give me a little time and patience, though, and eventually the desire for love wins. Once I feel safe with you, I’ll come out to rub against you and soak up all the affection I’ve been wanting. I might even give you one of my special little love bites. I get along just fine with other cats, both young and old. I’m simply a girl who needs a little extra time to learn that I’m safe and that the people around me are kind. I’m looking for someone patient who won’t rush me and will let me come out of my shell at my own pace. Once I decide you’re my person, you’ll have all the love I’ve been holding onto. I’m a sweet young mama who just needs someone willing to love me as much as I’ll love them.

15. Foil
Young (5 months) · Female · Domestic Short Hair / Mixed · 2 mi from Conroe

Foil aka
Marshmallow:
Marshmallow — Sweet CH Kitten Seeking a Gentle, Understanding Home
Although her name given when brought into the shelter is Foil, we have been calling her Marshmallow. She is a soft gray‑and‑white with long elegant legs. A CH kitten rescued at just a few days old and bottle‑fed until six weeks. Marshmallow is playful, curious, cautious, and incredibly cuddly. She loves ribbons, balls, exploring, and quiet snuggles — and she also enjoys having her own private hideaway spaces, especially her covered cat beds where she feels safe and cozy.

Marshmallow has cerebellar hypoplasia, so she wobbles when she walks and needs assisted feeding, in time she will likely learn to eat on her own. She is smart, alert, and litter‑trained. She communicates with a low growl when she needs help getting to the litter box and thrives with a calm routine and gentle support.
She would do wonderfully in a home with another CH cat and a loving family who understands her needs and appreciates how special she is. Marshmallow will bring quiet joy, sweetness, and so much love to the right home.
Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH): CH is a neurological condition affecting balance and coordination. It is not painful, contagious, or progressive, and cats with CH can live long, happy lives. They simply have a wobbly or unsteady gait and often adapt remarkably well. Source: VCA – Cerebellar Hypoplasia in Cats

Why adopt an adult cat in Conroe
An adult cat's personality is fully formed, so the rescue can tell you how they are with people, other pets and busy households. Many have lived in foster homes and are used to family life.
Grown cats are calmer and need less supervision than kittens, which suits people who work long hours or have young children.
